Book 2 in the My Bloody Valentine Collection! This book will have you side eyeing EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER! Beautifully written Valentine horror that I enjoyed to the very last blood trail
I was introduced to Elisa Daniels last year with her book "Don’t Watch Alone", which I absolutely loved (spoiler!). So when I saw she had a Valentine’s Day thriller novella coming out, I immediately pre-ordered it on Kindle. And today being a cold, lazy Sunday afternoon, curled up with my doggies, I decided to dive in. And just over an hour later I was finished. WOW. What a fun, wild ride of a story!
"You're Mine" is a dark, twisty Valentine novella that sold me on a bowling alley being a CREEPY AF venue for a story! Our FMC is Abagail and her world is upended when Polaroid photos of her start appearing, taken by a stalker calling himself The Score Keeper. Clever right? The story is told through 2 POVs including the stalker’s. Which really helps ramp up the tension to STRIKE level!
At under 100 pages, this was a one-sitting read for me. It’s creepy, clever, and unhinged in the best way, with a deliciously unsettling Valentine’s Day twist.
And I just found out there are 2 other books in the My Bloody Valentine Collection so I am going to seek those out soon!
At just 121 pages, this is a quick, effective horror novella that fits the Valentine’s theme perfectly. The writing style is solid and really effective at building suspense that grew throughout the book. I really liked the premise and the setting of the bowling alley as it felt unique, and the story does a great job of blurring the lines between love and obsession. My only critique is that there were a few side characters that were introduced and then just sort of... disappeared. They felt useless since they were mentioned once and never heard from again, which was slightly distracting in such a short book where every word counts. Overall, though, if you want something short and you like a little horror for your Valentine's Day, this book is a great choice!
This woman pours her entire soul into her work—and it shows. With Valentine’s Day being my favorite holiday, she knew I needed the earliest possible read… and y’all—this was so f*cking good. Short, sharp, and relentlessly effective, You’re Mine wastes no time sinking its claws in. When Abigail starts working at Lucky Strikes bowling alley, she has no idea someone is tracking her every move. Then the gifts arrive. Along with Polaroids from someone calling themselves The Score Keeper. Some photos are of her… others reveal things she was never meant to see. This Valentine’s Day, the game turns deadly. It’s creepy. It’s obsessive. It’s perfectly paced. And that final twist? Completely blindsided me—I never saw it coming 🩸🎳
You’re Mine is easily one of my new favorites by this author. I second-guessed every single character and still guessed wrong. The trust issues this book gave me? Unreal... I mean that in the best way possible. 😅
It’s fast-paced, addictive, and so well written that I couldn’t stop turning pages. Just when I thought I had it figured out... nope. Wrong again.
I don’t even know what else to say except: I absolutely loved this book and need more like it immediately.
Creepy, clever, and darkly fun. Elisa D. Daniels turns a bowling alley into the last place you’d want to be alone, especially when Polaroids start showing up from someone calling themselves The Score Keeper. The tension builds fast, the Valentine’s Day twist is deliciously unsettling, and the chills hit hard. A quick, entertaining read that proves love can be deadly and someone is always keeping score. 🎳🩸
You're Mine by Elisa Daniels is A short Valentine’s Day thriller that wastes no time and keeps you flipping pages, always wanting to know what’s next.
The pacing is tight, the tension builds quickly, and the story leans into that unsettling something’s not right feeling that works so well for a quick thriller. It’s the kind of read you finish in one sitting and immediately want to talk about.
Perfect if you’re in the mood for a dark little Valentine that trades roses for goosebumps.

If you love thrillers that get under your skin and stay there, You’re Mine is a must-read. From the moment the Polaroids start showing up, the tension is nonstop and genuinely chilling. The Score Keeper is the kind of villain that makes you look over your shoulder while you read. Dark, twisty, and perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day, this book is addictive from start to finish.
The second book in the bloody Valentine collection!! 💕
The Score Keeper is unhinged and delusional! He's an obsessed stalker of Abigail. No moment is spared as he lurks in the background, ready to strike at any moment (puns intended 😂). The score keeper could be anyone, as they all have potential stalker vibes.
Elisa takes the fun bowling experience and turns it into a psycho's playground.
You’re Mine is a dark, bloody Valentine’s tale that twists obsession into something lethal. Suspenseful and disturbing, it’s perfect for readers who prefer their romance drenched in darkness rather than love.
“You’re Mine” is a dark and deliciously twisted Valentine’s Day novella that proves even a bowling alley can become the stuff of nightmares. The story centers on Abigail, whose life takes a terrifying turn when anonymous Polaroids of her begin to surface, all snapped by a mysterious stalker who chillingly refers to himself as The Score Keeper. The narrative alternates between Abagail’s perspective and the mind of her pursuer, a choice that cranks the suspense to an almost unbearable level and lets the reader witness both the fear and the obsession unfolding in real time. Short, sharp, and impossible to put down, this under-100-page read is eerie, inventive, and wildly unsettling, with a Valentine’s twist that lingers long after the final page.
This was an interesting spin for a Valentine story. It was very bloody. The final eventualities on Valentine's day which was great. I really wanted more info , but overall it was just different!
