About the author

Stephanie lives in a 1940's floating home on the Columbia River with her twelve-year-old daughter and a large, ever-changing menagerie of animals. English history was her favorite subject in college, and she now understands why.

When she is not busy being the mom of a fiercely independent young hellion or penning new stories, Steph enjoys sailing and discovering quirky new coffeehouses.

Despite the difficult topics this book encompasses true female friendships. Being raw, breaking cycles, learning to heal and trust not only themselves but each other. Women empowering women. Regardless of the pain each character feels, this is a feel-good book.

For all of us who end up entangled with the same bad boyfriend over and over again, this is our book. You know the one I mean. He has a different name and haircut every time, but he's basically the same guy, different issue. It will entertain and provide some good insights.
