Andrew just wants to bring a little Pride Day joy to the Blue Star Diner. A rainbow flag, a splash of color, a moment of celebration—simple, right?
Not when his father storms in, yanks the flag down, and turns a disagreement into a blow‑up that leaves Andrew shaken and Rafael stepping in to protect him. One ugly moment becomes the spark that lights a much bigger fire, and suddenly Andrew and Rafael are facing fallout they never saw coming.
But word travels fast in their small town, and they’re not facing it alone. CousinArchie and Brogan show up ready to stand with them, fight for them, and make sure love, not fear, wins the day.

Known mostly for farming and the people that live there. The townsfolk are all excited to share in the celebration and curious about the drag show at the park. Come celebrate the first Pride Day in Foggy Basin. You’ll get to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones too. But as always, you’ll be welcome and you won’t want to leave.

This is an M/M short revisiting characters from an already established series, Andrew and Rafael.
I found it difficult to get into this book. I think the assumption is you'd have read the previous books before this one, and as I hadn't, I was meeting the characters for the first time.
The lack of information then led to confusion.
*Spoilers ahead*
My first issue was it mentioning Rafael was going to the station but not what type of station—a police station, train station, power station, or fire station—like, where! Only many chapters later do we find out it was in fact a police station. I then couldn't reconcile in my head how the police officer MC had seen his husband be physically assaulted with a weapon (wooden flag pole) and made zero attempt to arrest the antagonist.
Another thing I couldn't understand is near the end when Andrew's dad is like, "Sorry I assaulted you, won't happen again," and all is forgiven. I was just taken aback by how blasé it was dealt with, considering he physically assaulted him to the point he needed an X-ray to check nothing was broken.
Another thing was R accusing A of cheating and being annoyed but then like, meh, it's fine. I'd have been livid if my partner showed a lack of trust like this. This is the reason I've given the book two stars instead of three, as I just felt like it was brushed away despite having been depicted as so shattering when it happened.
Overall, this isn't a bad book; it just didn't strike me at all. I think it's one of those where if you've read the other books in the series and you know who people are and have already established likes for the characters, you'll love it and really enjoy catching up with them. Because I'm new to it, it just didn't resonate with me, and I don't feel inspired to go back and read Andrew and Rafael's book.

This return to Foggy Basin blends celebration with a more emotional edge, as Andrew’s simple plan to mark Pride at the Blue Star Diner quickly unravels into something far more personal. What begins as a small act of visibility turns into a confrontation that highlights lingering tensions, particularly with his father, and the impact it has on both Andrew and Rafael feels raw and believable.
The story balances that conflict with the steady support of chosen family. Archie and Brogan bring both strength and encouragement, helping shift the tone from hurt to resilience as the group prepares to take part in the town’s Pride events. There’s a real sense of community here, not just in the wider town but in the close-knit relationships at the centre of the story.
What makes this short piece stand out is the way it shows that growth doesn’t happen in a straight line. Andrew and Rafael still have things to work through, and that honesty gives their relationship depth. It’s a quick read, but one that carries both heart and hope, reinforcing why Foggy Basin continues to feel like a place worth revisiting.

This book is part of the Foggy Basin Pride series. Each book focuses on a different couple and all are standalone reads. This is the story of Andrew and Rafael. They are a happily married couple who are looking forward to the first Pride Parade in their hometown. Andrew has taken over as owner of his family's restaurant the Blue Star Diner. To show his support for the upcoming pride parade, he has put up decorations everywhere in his restaurant. The problem is his father shows his homophobic ways and ends up assaulting Andrew in his own restaurant in front of customers. Rafael, who wants to support and protect his husband, is having a hard time not taking action against his father in law. This is their story. I enjoyed the decision to participate in the Drag 101 classes and the musical number that they perform for the festival. My problem is the interaction and lack of accountability that happens between Andrew and his dad. I know that this is a short story but acceptance and 180 degree turnaround was a bridge too far for me. I thought that it diminished the story. Other than that, the story is written well and is easy to read.

It’s year three of Pride Day in Foggy Basin and the Blue Star Diner is in the thick of the festivities and decorations. Andrew and Rafael have gone all out, the diner is decorated, rainbow cupcakes have been baked for the table in the park and the pride cake is ready in the diner. Now all that is left is the parade and the Drag Show to top off the celebrations. And there they were, first in their matching shirts marching down the street, then Andrew, Rafael, Archie and Brogan graduated to eyelashes, pink dresses, pink hair, and heels, with an act to celebrate with each other and the town. And an unexpected bonus was an extra special happening which made it even more wonderful than they had thought. Will let you find out for yourselves what it was.
Foggy Basin is a fun place to visit, with quirky characters who support each other, a town where many embrace their queer community, and a community that celebrates each other and sticks together. It’s always a treat to revisit the town and it’s characters with these short, entertaining stories.

now running Blue Star Diner Andrew wants to take part in Foggy Basin Pride event with the diner along with drag with Archie & Brogan. Too bad Andrews dad still is not on board with this and makes his point known in a way that affects not only Andrew but his husband Rafeal as well. Rafeal doesn't handle the situation well, showing even with time not all past trauma is gone but can come back. Together they work on moving past the latest pain and with the encouragement of Archie & Brogan the four take apart in the towns drag night to be fully out and open to their family and town. I adore when authors return to past MCs to show how their relationship has changed over time. What makes this story work so well is Andrew & Rafeal may still have their differences but together they work through them and continue to grow as a couple. For such a quick read so much growth happens and I hope to see more of these men in the future works from Foggy Basin.
Andrew and Rafael, Archie and Brogan, are new to me. The Star and Duarte clash is a bit background. Obviously, Papa Star hasn't gotten passed his religious selfrightedness. What does shine right through is the affection the two sets of characters have for each other. This was a fresh new look at the town. Yeah, there's a little angst. But the Drag portion of the story is so bright and colorful, pushing residue sadness away. Andrew and Rafael aren't broken. Maybe a bit bent and bruised. The found family in Foggy Basin helps. With three seasons, PRIDE, as well as holiday shorts, there's a whole lot of this town to go around (roughly 30 books). The authors I've read (admittedly not too many) have created an enchanting view of this small town. I look forward to reading Andrew and Rafael's back stories. They were quite adorable getting to know.

This was a really cute, short story based in Foggy Basin and its Pride celebration. I loved how Rafael loves and defends Andrew, even when things go awry. Andrew’s father deserves a medal for being the worse of the worse, seriously, and I am baffled that he isn’t in jail, but such is the story. I think my favorite was Litera, how she explains the make up process, the whole lesson for Drag Queens is amazing. Like when she says that make up is helping them get the face they deserve, not the one they wake up with, it’s fantastic! Her lines were my favorite part of the whole book, and I wish she had a bigger part to play, because she gives Andrew a huge part of what he needs, and I loved that.

Small town Pride takes centre stage in this continuation of the Foggy Basin saga. Pride always has its detractors and in a small town they're often more visible and personal than in a major city. Andrew and Rafael are front and centre when Andrew's father assaults Andrew in the middle of the dinner. Support comes in many forms and from unexpected places as Pride approaches. Acceptance comes in small steps as a little education goes a long way to changing attitudes. I am looking forward to hearing more about Ethan in the future.

Foggy Basin is having its first Pride parade and drag show. Andrew is really looking forward to it by celebrating at the diner and their booth. When his father assaults him, Andrew just wants to hide partially from embarrassment and partially from sadness that his own father could treat him like dirt just because of who he loves. I enjoyed this story because it shows just how much strength it takes to persevere to having pride in who you are and those who know and love the real you is inspiring and I hope gives others who need it to know that they matter and are stronger than they think.
Lovely. All Andrew wanted to do was bring some Pride Day joy to his Blue Star Diner, and then his father almost ruined it. Rafael rescued him, of course, and then cousin Archie and Archie's partner Brogan turn up to help out as seems to happen in Foggy Basin. This is a really sweet story with a few issues but eventually at least things come to a compromise in a very funny and sweet way. I have enjoyed all the Foggy Basin series but I enjoyed the funny undertones of this one very much. Lovely story.

It's Pride week in Foggy Basin & Andrew & the Blue Star Diner are going all out. After a fallout with his father Andrew is shaken up & contemplating not celebrating Pride. With the help of his husband Rafael, cousin Archie & friends they turn his head around & pull off what will be the best Pride celebration in Foggy Basin.

This had some very emotional moments and how some don’t accept others choices. In this story Rafael and Andrew are married and their fathers still don’t approve of their marriage. It was so bad that Andrew’s father hit him with a pride flag pole in the middle of the dinner. Then the whole town stood up for him during the pride activities.

'A heartfelt small‑town drama about pride, family, and the people who choose you when things get hard.'
The characters were very appealing and likeable and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

An ama,ing story. A short story of how Andrew and Rafael overcome the difficulties of being a gay couple in a small town. When Andrews dad tells Andrew to take down the Pride decorations in the diner, Andrew refuses. So his father hits him in front of everyone. His friends and Rafael try to cheer Andrew up and the town also comes together to make Pride day successful. Loved reading their story. Thanx.

This is our third glimpse into Andrew and Rafael. In this one, Andrew's dad is causing chaos (again) and not in the fun way. Rafael is the perfect husband. He's loving, protective, and supportive. All of which help heal some of Andrew's familial trauma. I love that this is drag pride as well. Drag doesn't seem to get very much representation so far but its getting better. This was entertaining, and sweet.
This is a quick and very enjoyable read with some of our favorite characters in this little town! My heart really goes out to Andrew and I’m so happy he’s got Raphael to love and support him! I can’t wait to read more from Pride Day in Foggy Basin!.

To get the best experience, you should read the Blue Star Diner first. This will set the background for this story. Talk about starting a revolution!! OHH!! EMM!! GEE!! Battle commence! But a good ending, too. Loved it!.

Andrew is excited about Pride in Foggy Basin. He has decorated the Blue Star Diner to the max. When his father comes in and tears it all down, battle lines are drawn. Fortunately Andrew and Rafael have many allies including his cousin and many friends. This is a very emotional story, but Foggy Basin stands proud behind its residents. Truly a great story.
Delightful! Andrew is excited about Pride Day and hopes Blue Star Diner can show their support. Then his concervative Dad shows he is not a fan. Rafael, shows his love and support in defense. Foggy Basin is changing and growing. Found Family are loving and supportive and show the beauty of the Community. Great story, nice cover art, well done! I received an ARC and am leaving a review.
Andrew and Rafael story continues with the upcoming pride and it brings some obstacles along the way, some insecurities, and revelations, but also a bit of pride magic. I liked their moments together, the support they received in crisis time, and how in the end the family is united.
I really enjoyed this story. This was such an emotional short story that was very heartwarming. It was so nice seeing some familiar characters again and I really enjoyed the glimpse into their lives.
Follow Your Pride is part of the multi-author Foggy Basin Pride series and can be read as a standalone. I just loved seeing the guys from the Blue Star Diner and some of the other great characters. This was such a great introduction into the new season.
Andrew and the Blue Star Diner are the center for this book. However, Andrew's initial Pride plans take a bit of a stumble when his father visits the Diner. However, Rafael and his friends rally round and they form a drag group to celebrate pride.
This was a light, easy read considering the family drama that comes with Pride. I love the world that Brady has built, and despite not reading the books in order, I always enjoy the couples we meet. And I love the drag queens getting in on the action.
This is Foggy Basin's first Pride Festival and the whole town is getting ready for it. Andrew and Rafael are ready to go all out in the dinner and the parade. Their only problem is both their fathers can't accept their relationship. I really enjoyed this book.
I truly love this book. All the little adventures put together make this book as good as last year’s book. Foggy Basin is the perfect place for all of these lovely little pieces.
