That, in addition to providing us with good sums of money, had allowed me to return to Rainbell Falls and thus avoid having to interact with clients and do personal protection work.
Since I shared the property with my siblings, Ash, Jay, and Olivia, it was impossible to enjoy the peace and quiet I longed for, but I still could retreat to my home and enjoy solitude for several hours a day. That space was my sanctuary, although it ceased to be so when Reid showed up at my door accompanied by a princess I had to hide and protect.
