Some reputations are exaggerated in the Bratva. Dmitri Novikov’s is not.
Brutal. Sadistic. Unrepentant.
And now his sights are set on me.
Electricity scorches across my skin with each domineering glance. Hatred wars against searing need as he pushes me to my breaking point.
He’s going to have to fight for every inch of my submission.
But the night I’m dragged into an alley, Dmitri appears from the shadows like a demented guardian angel.
He erases the man for the sin of touching something that belongs to him.
His prey. His kitten. His obsession.
As he stalks me through the city while my enemies close in…
I realize I need the biggest monster of them all to stay alive.
“All you have to do is beg, kotenok, and I’ll give you everything you’re craving.”
Brutal Games is a scorching hot mafia romance standalone with forced proximity, a morally gray obsessed MMC, and the only woman who can break down his walls.
Lila Sharp is a dark mafia romance author who crafts moments so hot you’ll feel like you’re biting a jalapeño. Expect feisty heroines and dominant heroes who grapple with their inner demons on their way to a happily ever after. When she isn’t writing scenes with her heroines restrained emotionally and physically, she’s devouring another book on her TBR.
Let me just say a huge thank you to the author for letting me read this because I devoured this it. I read this book in one sitting. I love the mafia competition she used, the hate and attraction of the MC, and oh how the spice hit just right. This book didn't have a dull moment it just kept you wanting more. Alisa battles to stay in the competition while trying to stay under the radar. Dimitri is living at the top as heir apparent and a man who is feared. They are both trying to survive the Pakhan and his games while fighting an attraction they don't want. Thrust together for a mission leaves them both trying to get done before one of them break. Emotions are high and things keep getting more tangled up as the competition gets closer to it's end. Lila Sharp has wrote an amazing fast paced enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and touch her and die book. This is my first ever book of her and I can't wait to see what she has in store next. This is definitely a book I highly recommend reading and is one of my new favorites.
ARC READ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my first ever read by Lila Sharp and I'm soooo happy she picked me to be one of her arc readers!! The tension between Alisa and Dmitri was hottttt 🔥🔥 the back and forth from the beginning literally kept me flipping the page until 3 A.M! I absolutely loved the tension but what I loved more was when these enemies finally became lovers, the way Dmitri would burn the world down for Alisa was EVERYTHING. I loved how possessive yet caring he was because Alisa had never really had that in her life. I also loved how Alisa would truly do anything for Dmitri, these two truly had a love like no other. I'm personally not an enemies to lovers girl but this made me rethink all my decisions because this was definitely a 5 star read for me. These two were just everything and I can't wait to read more by Lila Sharp!!!
TROPES ✨Dark romance ✨Bravata romance ✨Enemies to Lovers ✨HES OBSESSED
Brutal Games by Lila Sharp was my first introduction to this author, and it left a lasting impression.
From the opening chapters, this story establishes a world steeped in violence, power, and moral ambiguity. Dmitri Novikov is exactly the kind of MMC dark romance readers are warned about—brutal, obsessive, and unapologetically dangerous. His reputation within the Bratva is well-earned, and the story never attempts to soften him for reader comfort.
What surprised me most, though, was how emotionally layered this book turned out to be.
This is not a conventional enemies-to-lovers romance. The connection between Dmitri and Alisa is built through control, defiance, and psychological tension rather than trust or tenderness. Their relationship is twisted, intense, and often uncomfortable—but never empty. Every interaction feels deliberate, charged, and rooted in character rather than shock value.
Dmitri’s version of love is deeply obsessive and controlling. His gestures of protection are extreme—sometimes outright unhinged—but they are never without intention. The story consistently asks the reader to sit in that discomfort and decide where their own moral lines lie.
Alisa, however, is the emotional heart of the novel. Her entire life has revolved around survival and protection—first of her mother, then her brother. She has never been allowed to believe she deserves safety or care for herself. Watching her slowly confront that belief, and begin to question whether she might be worthy of love in any form, was both heartbreaking and powerful.
The romance is dark, but it carries emotional weight. The spice is present and intense, yet it never overshadows the story. Instead, it heightens the tension and deepens the character dynamics. The pacing is tight, the world-building clear, and the emotional beats feel earned rather than rushed
Lila Sharp delivered a violent, emotionally charged, and thought-provoking dark romance, and I’ll definitely be reading more from her.
Tropes & Themes: • Russian Mafia • Enemies to Lovers • Forced Proximity • Morally Grey, Obsessive MMC • Protective/Controlling Love • Poison Princess FMC • Praise • “Mine” • “Eyes on me” • BDSM
Highly recommended for readers who enjoy dark romance that leans fully into the gray.
*Brutal Games* by Lila Sharp was my first experience with this author, and it set the bar high in the most unsettling way.
From the very beginning, the novel drops the reader into a ruthless environment shaped by crime, dominance, and blurred morality. Dmitri Novikov embodies everything dark romance readers are cautioned about: he is merciless, possessive, and frighteningly unapologetic. As a figure within the Bratva, his cruelty is not exaggerated or excused—the narrative allows him to remain exactly as dangerous as his reputation suggests.
What I didn’t expect was the depth beneath all that brutality. This story doesn’t follow a traditional romantic arc, and it certainly isn’t a soft enemies-to-lovers tale. The bond between Dmitri and Alisa grows through power struggles, resistance, and intense psychological push-and-pull rather than affection or mutual safety. Their dynamic is warped and unsettling, yet it never feels hollow. Every exchange carries purpose and tension, driven by who they are rather than by gratuitous shock.
Dmitri’s idea of love is consuming and absolute. His need to protect manifests in ways that are extreme—sometimes disturbing—but always deliberate. The book repeatedly challenges the reader to remain present in that discomfort and reflect on their own boundaries around obsession, control, and devotion.
Alisa, on the other hand, grounds the story emotionally. Her existence has been defined by endurance—first shielding her mother, then sacrificing herself for her brother. She has never had the luxury of believing she deserves peace or gentleness. Watching her slowly grapple with that mindset, and begin to wonder if she is allowed to want something for herself, was one of the most affecting parts of the novel.
While the romance is undeniably dark, it carries real emotional substance. The intimate scenes are intense, but they never overpower the narrative. Instead, they amplify the tension and reveal more about the characters’ inner worlds. The story moves with strong momentum, the setting feels fully realized, and the emotional moments land with impact rather than feeling forced.
Overall, Lila Sharp crafted a harsh, provocative, and emotionally resonant dark romance. It lingered with me long after I finished—and it ensured I’ll be picking up more of her work.
This was my first read from Lila Sharp, and it came to me as an ARC and what an introduction. Violent, intense, and deeply emotional, Brutal Games took everything I thought I wanted from a dark romance and pushed it further.
From the beginning, the story throws you into a world of calculated violence, psychological control, and deep moral grayness. It gave me serious John Wick vibes only more layered with obsession, betrayal, and emotional warfare. But what really surprised me was the love story at the heart of it. Twisted? Absolutely. But also deeply compelling.
This isn’t your typical romance, and definitely not your typical enemies-to-lovers arc. Their connection is built on control, defiance, and emotional unraveling. It’s dark, but it’s not hollow. It’s a story about survival, dominance, and what love looks like when it’s filtered through trauma.
Some scenes genuinely stayed with me like Dmitri’s realization that he loves Alisa, even if he doesn’t say it the way most people would. His version of protection is obsessive and controlling, but also rooted in care. Sewing trackers into her clothes? Absolutely insane… and yet, somehow, I felt that love. That’s the tone of this entire story: every gesture is twisted, but never without purpose.
And then there’s Alisa, who completely carried the emotional arc for me. The only love she had ever known was the instinct to protect; first her mother, from an abusive father, and then her brother in a game that would ultimately reshape her forever. She never learned how to be loved, only how to survive for someone else. Watching her slowly realize she might be worthy of love, protection, and care even in the most unrecognizable form was heartbreaking and powerful.
The spice is there but never gratuitous. It never overshadows the story, only intensifies it. The pacing is sharp, the world-building clear, and the character work tight. Every decision, every emotional shift, feels earned.
This book made me question my morals. I caught myself rooting for choices I wouldn’t normally stand behind, but that’s the brilliance of it. It doesn’t ask for your approval, only your attention. And it gets it.
Lila Sharp made an impression and I’ll definitely be picking up more from her.
This was my second ARC read, and the moment I read the description I thought: hmm… dark romance, Bratva… this could be really good. Let me tell you: it absolutely did not disappoint. What a book! 🤩
This book grabed me instantly. From the very first pages, especially the prologue, I was already thinking: oh damn. I loved how unpredictable the story was, and Alisa? She is such a badass FMC. Strong and soo brave.
And Dmitri… wow. He is an absolute dream of a man. The author promised a dominant and possessive MC, and Dmitri delivers on every level. The way he takes care of Alisa, even while seeing himself as a monster, was incredibly swoonworthy. I adored the contrast between his self-perception and the tenderness he shows her. It hit me right in the feels.
The writing itself is very strong, and the mental battle Alisa goes through feels heavy, raw, and realistic. The constant feeling of needing to protect her friends and parents, even at the cost of herself, really stuck with me. One quote in particular hit hard:
“I’d lived in this world of darkness and pain for so long that I needed to hold onto any moments of happiness.”
I don’t know why exactly, but that line felt incredibly beautiful to me. The same goes for:
“But people weren’t just one action, one moment.”
The story is dynamic and constantly shifting. Several times I thought I had the plot figured out, only for it to change direction again. I loved being kept on my toes like that. Its new and fresh and didn't feel like anything I've read before.
This book had everything I didn’t even realize I had been craving for a while. Hurt comfort, a brave and resilient FMC, and a solid, gripping storyline. I don’t want to give away too many spoilers because this book truly deserves to be experienced. I would reread it without hesitation.
I felt a constant urge to keep reading, even when I absolutely did not have the time. And the moment I finished, I couldn’t wait to post my review.
A huge thank you to the author for trusting me with this ARC. It was such a pleasure to read, and honestly, I already miss these characters. Probably will re-read soon!

This book is for the mafia romance lovers, who loves enemies to lovers, obsessed MMCs and the touch her and die vibes. Because this man would LITERALLY burn the world down for her and wouldn’t even think twice about it!
The name of this book literally says it all and i absolutely loved the concept of this one! We have a Pahkan who never had children on his own, so to ensure he had a strong heir he started up a competition of sorts, where the competitors must complete missions to rack up the points to become number 1. And let’s just say our man Dmitri ranked NO.1 is an absolute force to be reckoned with. This man has lived through all the cruel things life has to throw at you and has become utterly ruthless and unstoppable. That is till one night when someone turned his world upside down. He become obsessed, absolutely enthralled with this woman that he knew if he got just one taste, that he could never go back.
Alisa, our fmc knows she should hate the man who took the one thing she truly loved in this world away from her. But when she is partnered up with Dmitri to complete new takes set by the Pakhan, she is binding it harder and harder not to blur the lines between lust and hate!
Both our MCs have had pasts which are unbearable, but watching Alisa bring out the side of Dmitri he never thought he could be, and him showing Alisa that she no longer has to suffer alone, you really do see just how much their love is stronger then anything! This book has truly left its mark on my heart and I honestly need more of Lila’s work 😍 with the perfect balance between the story and the spice this is definitely a book you are going to devour!
📚 ARC Review If you are looking for a spicy standalone book that is an easy read which leaves you satisfied then I do suggest reading Brutal Games by Lila Sharp.
This is a dark romance, enemies to lovers, slow burn where the first intimacy is not until later. But when it happens it does not stop!
This book is told from both the FMC and the MMC POV so you get every thought and emotion from both sides.
I enjoyed this book and will read again. Alisa is not as strong as you think she would be, being a killer for the mob. A damsel in distress if you like. Personally I was slightly unsure about this at first because I like a strong FMC. But I do love a knight in shining armor story as well. But this knight is in black with his hands stained RED, and just my type lol! I got so engulfed in this book that I didn’t put it down until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Finished in less than 24 hours after starting it.
Spoilers-DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT ME TO SPOIL PARTS OF THE BOOK!!
Born into a deadly game you either follow the Pakhan’s rules or you die. The champion will become the next hair. There is no love in this world only violence to gain power.
Dimitri kills your bother and then vows to break you. You are poison princess whose targets only see you as a pair of boobs. Everybody thinks you are weak and disposable and you have a hard mask and hid behind disguises hoping to achieve a higher rank in this Brutal Game.
As luck would have it Alisa is partnered up with the enemy who killed her brother. He calls her a kitten but realizes something is different about her.
Now a spicy spoiler….. Dmitri helps Alisa beat a man and choke him to death while taking her from behind! The man takes his final breath as she finds her release.
Do I have your attention now?!

✦ 𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 - Brutal Games is a dark mafia romance about Alisa trapped between hatred and survival after her brother is murdered by a ruthless Bratva enforcer Dmitri Novikov. When danger closes in, the same man who vowed to break her becomes her most dangerous protector. Enemies, obsession and forced proximity turn their hate into something far more intense. This book completely owned me from the first chapter. The story is dark, intense and full of action scenes that kept my heart racing. Dmitri is dangerously protective, obsessive and absolutely unhinged in the best way. I loved him so much. His “touch her and you die” energy was everything I want in a mafia man. Dmitri is always there for Alisa, saving her every single time, like protecting her is his only purpose. Alisa is strong, smart and fearless. She does not break easily and that made me love her even more. Their relationship is a perfect slow burn filled with tension, hate, desire and power struggles. The chemistry is intense, the spice is perfectly placed and the emotions hit hard. This book is violent, risky and not soft at all, but that is exactly what makes it addictive. Every chapter pulls me deeper into their dangerous world. The ending was satisfying and powerful. Easily a 5 star read for me and a highly recommended book for all my dark romance girls. If you love mafia romance with a brutal hero, strong heroine, heavy protection and nonstop action, this book is for you. Thank you so much to the author for the free ARC. 🖤✨
If you’re looking for a spicy, mafia/bratva with touch her and d!e vibes then look no further! I devoured this in less than 24 hours!
Dmitri and Alisa are both competing to be the Pakhans next heir. Dmitri is every bit the cold, ruthless, morally grey MMC you’d expect. Alisa is clever and fierce and not willing to back down from the challenge. Alisa is forced into this being born into the bratva world. She’s suffered years of abuse at the hands of her horrible father. She also suffered from ptsd and dissociates when triggered by a past SA(check TW)
At the beginning of the book an event takes place that causes Alisa to despise Dmitri. Flash forward a couple years and now they’re forced to work together during the pakhans assigned missions. Along the lines of their team work both cannot stop the insane chemistry they have for each other. The banter and chemistry between these two is 🥵🔥🥵 I love a hate to love dynamic and this delivered! The plot about the bratva is really good and unique with it being a point system and competition to determine the heir and next Pakhan. This book has plenty of spice so be ready! Also please check TW before reading.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was not prepared for how deeply this book would sink its claws into me.
Dmitri is the kind of MMC you know you shouldn’t fall for… and yet you do, instantly and without regret. He’s lethal, possessive, unapologetically dark — a man who knows exactly what he is and never pretends otherwise. And somehow, in the middle of all that brutality, he shows a breathtaking devotion. Every moment of tenderness felt earned, intimate, and dangerously addictive.
Alisa is raw and resilient in a way that feels painfully real. She’s survived things that could have shattered her, yet she still holds onto her fire. Watching her reclaim her power while standing toe-to-toe with a man like Dmitri was mesmerizing. Their dynamic crackles with sharp banter, tension, and a pull that never lets up.
This story lives in a ruthless mafia world where nothing is soft — except the way these two slowly, fiercely claim each other. It’s heavy, emotionally charged, and layered with moments of unexpected warmth that hit you right in the chest.
And the heat? Next level. Power exchange, kink, control, surrender — every scene is intense, deliberate, and perfectly aligned with who these characters are. It’s bold, unapologetic, and unforgettable.
This book didn’t just entertain me — it consumed me. It’s earned a permanent place on my favorites list, and I’d return to this world in a heartbeat. If dark mafia romance with depth, obsession, and electric chemistry is your weakness, this one is not to be missed. 🔥🖤
Mafia romance is my ride-or-die genre, but not everyone gets it right. That said, I will never turn down the chance to read a mafia romance ARC—and let me tell you, Lila Sharp got it right.
This book was an absolute GEM. It offers such a unique twist on the mafia trope, one I haven’t seen before, and I’ve read plenty. Dimitri and Alisa are two of several contenders competing to become the Pakhan’s heir since he’s unable to have children. The premise is simple but addictive: the players earn points by completing missions, carrying out hits, and proving their worth. At the end, whoever has the most points wins. Of course, there’s MUCH more to it than that, but no spoilers here & this is the core setup.
This is a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers story with layers of mistrust, trauma healing, and emotional growth woven throughout. The writing is fast-paced, easy to read, and well done. I devoured it in two sittings. If you have an afternoon and want to completely lose yourself in a book, this is the one.
The things Dimitri would do for Alisa, and to her, 👀and the lengths Alisa would go to protect Dimitri? Perfection. Their dynamic was intense, emotional, and deeply satisfying.
I’ll definitely be adding Lila Sharp to my mafia romance rotation after this. Thank you to Lila Sharp for offering the ARC. What a book!
The Pakhan established a point system for all the included Mafia children to determine who would become the next heir apparent. They get sent on missions and the number of points earned is determined by the severity of the mission and the capability of the person carrying out said mission. Dmitri is always number one in the rankings. Much higher above everyone else, while Alisa does her best to fight to be considered a competitor in this world.
Dmitri & Alisa's story does not start very well. They definitely are more enemies, and neither one trusts the other. As they get thrown together on missions, they start to have an understanding, and before you know it, their feelings start to feel more than friendly. Their relationship is a rocky one. In their world, they learn early on to trust no one, not even their parents.
Even though the two are not exactly trusting of each other, it didn't stop the spice from spicin and oh boy did it ever spice! Dmitri was on fire, and it was no-holds-barred. Alisa was determined to take everything he was dishing out.
Don't miss this enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, mafia romance filled with all the spice you could ever want!
Brutal Games absolutely wrecked me — I loved everything about this book. From start to finish, I was completely hooked.
Dmitri… wow. I fell hard for him, red flags and all. He openly calls himself a monster, yet somehow becomes her monster — and every single time he called Alisa “kotenok”, I melted. Completely gone. He’s dark, dangerous, possessive, and somehow still tender in all the ways that matter.
Alisa is broken but incredibly strong, and I adored her. The banter between her and Dmitri was perfection, and their chemistry was off-the-charts 🔥. This story is brutal and tortured, set in a bleak mafia world where nothing comes easy — but it’s also filled with so much heart, softness, and unexpected tenderness.
And the spice? Some of the best I’ve read. BDSM, kink, Dom/Sub dynamics, toys — filthy, intense, and absolutely perfect for this couple. Every scene hit exactly the way it should.
This book has earned a permanent spot on my favourites list, and I could easily reread it or dive into more stories in this world without hesitation. If you love mafia romance with darkness, depth, and insane chemistry, this is a must-read from Lila Sharp.
Thank you so much to Lila Sharp for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this story. Brutal Games hit all the marks for everything I’m looking for in a mafia romance. This story delivers danger, tension, brutality, and emotion I wasn’t expecting. The FMC is broken but strong. She’s a heroine who refuses to stay down no matter how many times life tries to crush her. The MMC is brutal and unrepentant. He’s the morally black archetype I love in this genre. The two are in a deadly mafia competition where they’re forced to work together. This forced proximity creates the perfect storm. It is a true enemies to lovers dynamic. There’s tons of spice, passion, and romance amongst all the violence. There was also more heart here than I’m used to seeing from characters this morally dark. But that softer side made me love them even more. That layer of emotional elevated the entire story for me. The ending offered real closure, making this a complete, satisfying, and entertaining read. Between the action, the spice, and the emotional beats, Brutal Games was a very fun ride from start to finish.
Brutal Games is an intense dark mafia romance that honestly caught me off guard. Not because I’ve never read the tropes within this book. I’m very familiar with enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, touch her and die. I mean everyone loves a good obsessive, possessive man. The development of their emotions is something I haven’t come across. There’s so much more depth in their emotional relationship with how intertwined their lives are. As part of the same Bratva branch, they’re entered into a competition to become the Pakhan’s next heir. When two people’s meet cute is the MMC offing the FMC’s brother, you wouldn’t think that they’d end up together. However, her courage to sacrifice herself for the ones she cares about held his attention. Being part of the Bratva and having the kinds of parents they have, it shapes you into people that appreciate uninhibited loyalty. And the sexual tension which later transformed into more 😮💨
I recommend adding this book to your TBR if you love mafia romances. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Grateful to have been provided the ARC for this book and discovering this author.
This was an ARC read—and I absolutely devoured it. 🔥 This is my first book by Lila Sharp, and consider me officially a fan.
I finished this in just two days because I could not put it down. From start to finish, it kept me hooked, and the characters? Chef’s kiss.
Dmitri—our morally black, unapologetic mafia MMC—is everything you want and more. Brutal, remorseless, and completely unhinged… yet when it comes to Alisa, he is utterly obsessed. She becomes the one thing he never knew he needed, and watching that dynamic unfold was addictive.
This book delivers: 🖤 Touch her and die 🖤 Intense protectiveness 🖤 Obsession & stalking 🖤 Open-door spice 🖤 Light BDSM 🖤 Revenge 🖤 All the dark mafia vibes
I genuinely loved this book and highly recommend picking it up when it releases on 21 January. ⭐ Rating: 4.5 stars ⭐
I cannot wait to read more from this author—Lila Sharp, you’ve officially gained a new fan! 😍📚🔥
This book was such a good read, from start to finish!
I would definitely look at the trigger warnings if you have boundaries, as this does contain ALOT of violent, brutal and sexual scenes.
Alisa is a girl who has been made into who she is by her background. She is a complete badass in her own right, but only because thats who she has to be. Dmitri is a very high ranked mafia man, who loves what he does and will hurt anyone he can. He is brutal, dark and downright deadly. He is obsessed with breaking Alisa, but its only when he's forced to, does he slowly want to start breaking her in more ways than one!
This was so close to been a 5 star read, but the ending felt a little anti-climatic. Nevertheless, it was such a good read and for anyone who is into a dark mafia romance, this book should definitely be on your TBR!

Did I get this book yesterday? Yes. Did I start ot at midnight? Yes. Have I absolutely devoured it while snacking on coffee and brownies? Yes to that too. I don't know what I was expecting but... WOW. Not only was it spicy, angsty at times and definitly doing things to my Russian enamoured-self it also has the nice pace that dones't make it feel like it's dragging on and, honestly? I'm never getting tired of a man so offended by the way the world mistreated you that he'll go on a monday afternoon murder-spree. That's the vibe, cause sure he may hate you, he may want to torment you and make you suffer buut he mans funsies and good ol' screaming because it's good and not actual hurtful things. So, yes. Great book. I love Dmitri who i wish would have been called Dimka at least once but that's just me and my bat plushie named exactly that.
Brutal Games is an absolute FIVE STAR🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 book for me! I was hooked from the first page! I could barely put it down. Lila has created this perfect MMC!
There is action, turns and twist at every corner in this book! Never a dull moment.
Alisa is a strong-willed woman, who has been in some unfortunate situations starting from the very beginning! Dmitri is powerful, possessive, dominant, and ruthless. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants!!
This book gives me the definition of “Touch her and ☠️” and “I will literally 🔥 🔥🔥 the world down for you”. The spice level is hot!!! 🌶️🥵🌶️🥵🌶️
This is a true enemies to lovers book that will have you hanging on every word!! If you love a dark mafia romance, enemies to lovers, stalker, Dominant/submissive, Unapologetic morally grey man you will DEVOUR this!
I absolutely consumed this book in one sitting. The spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ was amazing!! 🤤 The way Dmitri forbid the world to continue to mistreat Alisa had me needing more. The way they belonged together and she was his! 💦🌶️
“When my phone buzzed, I felt like a dragon hoarding its treasure, not wanting the sound to awaken her and for her to leave my den.” 🥵 Dragons are serious about their hoards!! Loved this line.
I did have to remove one star because the secondary mafia plot resolution I found incredibly anticlimactic. It was so simple and thinking Dmitri could outsmart the Pakhan in this manner was disappointing. It felt like the promise one makes but with their fingers crossed behind their back. It needs more of a punch.
Overall though, this book was really good and I really enjoyed reading it!! I couldn’t put it down!!

If enemies to lovers is a top trope for you, then Brutal Games is a must read.
When Dmitri kills Alisa’s brother in front of her, the stage is set for an epic book.
The following two years, Dmitri stalks her, unable to get her out of his head. He may as well be dead to Alisa - there’s no way she can go anywhere near the man that killed her brother. Add to that they are in the same competition in the Russian Bratva, to be the next Pakhan.
Dmitri is completely obsessed with Alisa, but the feeling certainly isn’t reciprocated. But when he keeps showing up for her, providing the safety she never had at home, her walls begin to fall. He will literally tear apart anywho who hurts his kitten.
This dark & spicy mafia romance ticks all the boxes, & you can’t help but fall in love with Dmitri & Alisa.
Wow… this book was spicy and dark, and I enjoyed every single minute of it. Alisa shouldn’t be alive, her brother should be, but life must go on. Dmitri is the heir apparent for the Pakan in NYC, and he cannot forget about the woman he met 2 years ago. The chemistry between Alisa and Dmitri was sooooo hott.
Alisa is fighting for her life and status within the mafia in NYC. She lost her brother 2 years ago because of this competition and she is just about to give up…
Dmitri has this in the bag; he has been at the top since the very beginning. He has never knew love, not even from his parents but the things he starts to feel need to be explored. She must be his...
✨ What to Expect ✨ 🖤 Dark Romance 🔥 Mafia Romance ⚔️ Enemies to Lovers 😈 Obsessed MMC 🩸 Touch Her and D!e 🏠 Forced Proximity 🥊 Competition
After destroying her world, Dmitri Novikov turns his obsession on her, blending hatred, danger, and impossible desire. Stalked through the city and pushed to her limits, Alisa realizes only this dark, ruthless man can keep her alive.
This book blew me away. Mafia romance done differently and I am HERE for it! The competition for the new leader added so much tension and gave the story a fresh, unique edge.
Dmitri? Ruthless, dangerous, deadly… basically everything you want in a mafia man 🥵 Alisa starts strong. Deadly, determined, and seemingly made for the mafia world. Buuuuuttt… as the story goes on, it becomes clear she’s just too weak for it. I love my FMCs to be either lethal mafia goddesses or innocent girls who grow into strength and power, nothing in between. UGH 😤
🖤 Mafia Romance 🖤 Enemies to Lovers 🖤 Obsessive MMC
This is my first book by this author but will definitely not be my last. Everything about this book is wonderful, the characters, the story, the sexy times, everything. The pakhan runs a tournament to decide his heir. Both Dmitri and Alisa are in the running but Dmitri is in the top position and Alisa is not. If you love your men not only morally grey but willing and able to burn down the world for his woman then Dmitri is your next book boyfriend. This book has everything, danger, violence, obsession, love and two people who are made for each other. Highly recommend this book not just for lovers of dark mafia romances but for every reader. ❤️🖤
Thank you for the opportunity to early read this story :) Brutal Games is a scorching hot mafia romance standalone with forced proximity, a morally gray obsessed MMC, and the only woman who can break down his walls. Brutal Games was my first introduction to this author. We have a Pahkan who never had children on his own. Therefore, he wants to ensure he has a strong heir to take his place. He started up a competition of sorts — where the competitors must complete missions to rack up the points. This is something done to see who will be heir. Alisa is partnered up with Dmitri to complete new tasks set by the Pakhan.
“First he murdered my brother. Then he vowed to break me. Some reputations are exaggerated in the Bratva. Dmitri Novikov’s is not. Brutal. Sadistic. Unrepentant. And now his sights are set on me.” Brutal Games is a mafia romance standalone with forced proximity, a morally gray obsessed MMC, and only one woman who can break down his walls. Alisa Solovyov drives Dimitri insane but he would do anything for her! Their chemistry is unmatched even though she wants to hate him! This book had me hooked from the beginning, the violence, the spice, the twists and turns! I never wanted it to end! This was another 5 star read and I will be reading her other two books too! Brutal Games releases January 21st, and is an absolute must read!
From the beginning Dmitri is taken with a pair of blue eyes that haunt him. Alisa is haunted by her decisions as well as the man who made the decision for her.
she fights her feelings tooth and nail and wondering can she resist forever. But Dmitri is a patient man for his kitten.
He proves time and again that he will do anything for her and eliminate any threat to his kitten.
After she can no longer fights she finds her strength in her most unlikely place, the man she swore to stay away from. but in loving him she finds her own self worth and strength to accept anything that comes her way.
This is a great read and a HEA book. read and you won't be mad you did.
Enemies to lovers? Mafia? Obsessive MMC? Yes please! 🤤
This is a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers mafia romance that you won’t want to put down! The plot development is well balanced with just the right amount of spice, and the emotional development will have your little black heart swooning 🖤
Absolutely LOVED this book! My kindle had to be pried out of my hands to attend to reality 😂
The spice was so fricken’ spicy I had to turn the fan on and make sure the air was turned down because I was sweating! 🥵 🔥
But seriously, Dmitri has taken over as my newest book boyfriend!

ARC Review: This book is for Mafia/Bratva Lovers. The scene is set in a competition that gives John Wick /Survival of the fittest type action. It is action packed keeping you on the edge of your seat. I loved the fact that women were also in the competition. The MMC gave me all the feels, protector, providers and punisher in the streets and between the sheets. The FMC had me screaming to tap into her assassination mode, but I also understood that she has been beaten down literally and figuratively by those who were supposed to love and protect her. I read this in one sitting, couldn't put it down Highly recommend
