Daddy's Little Girl #95

Brooding Pilot Daddy

Rate this book
Someone in my crew posted a photo of me asleep with Captain Cloud. It landed in the crew chat with laughing emojis and a caption that could cost me shifts, respect, everything I fought for.

Everett pilot-quiet, watchful like a lighthouse, and gruff where it counts. He shows up with mac and cheese, fuzzy socks, voice notes on my phone, and a steady hand at the small of my back. He deletes posts. He argues with Jordan. He pins my doodle to his fridge like a stake.

We make rules in ink. Green, Yellow, Red. He teaches me to ask for help. I teach him to be visible without spectacle. He disciplines me when I test the lines. He braids my hair and reads me stupid stories until I breathe.

Then the rota tightens. Mandatory room-sharing. A new photo surfaces. HR wants answers. Rumors start hunting the crew lounge.

He says he'll protect me. He says he'll fight quietly, then loudly if he has to.

I want to be small and brave. I want to keep my job. I want him.
Will I choose safety—or him? And if I choose both, can we survive daylight?

Arc Review

Yes, the Daddy’s are still steaming.

Piper James - 25, flight attendant
Captain Everet Sloan - yep, pilot and Daddy

I wont go into long deliberations of the series and Daddy. Each one has its own story. Here though Piper tested the waters and found her Daddy immediately. It was a freer story and with every other book in the series - choices are made. Consensual is upfront and safety is paramount.

A comfort for the female who needs to be little but sometimes at what expense? There are others who surround who do not understand their comfort. It is people like this who belittle them.

As stated in my other reviews, this does take certain people to read. It may not be your cup of tea. Try and not belittle what makes one comfortable.

The Importance of Unconditional Support -
I had high hopes for this book, but unfortunately it didn’t quite live up to my expectations of the earlier books I read that were written by Scott Wylder. The premise of this story sounded really interesting and Piper and Everett did make the story entertaining, but I found it difficult to stay engaged with parts of the story. My personal view doesn’t take away from the fact that the story was an okay read, even though it seemed to end on a cliffhanger with no subsequent story expected.

The characters were very appealing and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend..

Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.

Everett is the standard. I like my main male characters like Everett: mature, reliable, intelligent, respectful, and protective without being overbearing. The chemistry between Piper and Everett grew naturally; each interaction was sweeter than the last. The king of indulgence. And God, how I wish I could find him in real life! He's been my favorite male character so far in the recent Scott Wylder books I've read.

“Brooding Pilot Daddy” by Scott Wylder

-A secret daddy/little girl dynamic adds tension as Piper and Everett hide their relationship. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

The emotional stakes build with rumors, vulnerability, and a need for safety. The story ends on a frustrating cliffhanger, leaving key issues unresolved and things left unanswered.

This is book number ninety five of the Daddies Little Series. There is such a personal struggle for Piper and her small side. She is scared and standoffish at times to protect herself.

Piper is a flight attendant and meets Everett on one of the flights. She tests him to see how he will respond to the little side that she has. He passes her tests and they get to know each other.

Piper and Everett was a great story. They work so well together. She has her trust issues and he helps her through the difficult times. They were made for each other. Great love story.
