Didn't like the ending!!
For some reason, Jay and Kendra didn't click for me. They just didn't seem like mates. This was not one of my favorites by this author. This story felt unfinished.

nice quick read
This was definitely a story of an unhinged dragon. This story was a nice quick read. This also had some lessons that a mother’s love is unconditional no matter how old you are. While addressing a fast past mating connection which also shows you that the person you may need is sometimes in the place you least aspect. Nice quick palette cleansers to bring on any book.

Imagine being kidnapped by a dragon… only to discover that he’s your fated mate?! 🐉🔥
Oh, how I loved Jayseon! He deserved to experience genuine love and Kendra was exactly the woman meant to give it to him. Their love story was unhinged, intense, and unexpectedly beautiful.
My only complaint? I needed MORE! More of Jayseon and Kendra falling in love, more of their bond, and definitely more of them together. Their story was just that good! 🖤

I really thought I was going to holler and pass out from laughing when he was in the store gathering things.
Melody is one of my top 5 favorite authors. She can do no wrong. LOL!! But this one isn’t my favorite.

Enjoyed Jaceon and Kendra's journey to their HEA. Despite a kidnapping, a crazy ex, and lies on both sides, the two manage to get their happiness.

It was okay. I wanted to see Jackson interact more with the family initially and less of the cave I think. It was. Good story but I wanted more out of it.

When I tell you I absolutely loved this book! It had me laughing so hard. Imagine being in the woods, minding your business and relieving yourself, only for a dragon to suddenly snatch you up because he realizes you are his mate! Kendra was probably thinking, What in the world is happening?
Jayceon had been living alone in a cave for so long that he was completely uncivilized. Once he found his mate, he could barely control his body. He was already trying to reveal himself to her and mate with her, and Kendra was looking at him like, Absolutely not, sir! You literally just met this woman a few seconds ago, and you are already ready to get your rocks off! That entire scene had me crying laughing.
Then she started looking around his cave while he was proudly telling her, I’m rich. I’ll give you whatever you want. Meanwhile, she was staring at all the things he had collected like, Sir, these belongings came from dead people. Are you really trying to give me somebody’s dead people stuff? Jayceon truly had no idea how crazy he sounded.
The situation involving Kendra and her abusive ex-husband was heartbreaking. Because she was raised by such a strong and independent mother, she was afraid to tell her what was happening. She thought her mother might judge her, but that was never the case. Her mother made it clear that Kendra could always come to her about anything.
I loved watching Kendra finally experience what it felt like to be protected, appreciated, and genuinely loved by Jayceon. She had never received that kind of love in her marriage because her ex-husband was controlling, degrading, and abusive. Thankfully, he received exactly what he deserved in the end!
This book had some hilarious moments, but it was also a beautiful story about healing, protection, and finding real love after surviving abuse. Overall, this was such a good read, and I truly enjoyed Kendra and Jayceon’s story.

Phenomenal Read!!!!
As always Melody Lynch delivers and amazing read. The characters mesh so well, the story has trauma, love, and spice with of course in one of my favorite communities Shadow Wolf Creek. And as cheesy as it sounds it can be either the most safest or the most dangerous places to be, it all depends on the situation and or circumstances either way all kinds of shifters living amongst each other. It’s an amazing place to be and live and you may come across your FATED MATE…. Keep an open mind and heart. Keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!

Loved it
I really enjoyed reading this past pasted book. Mane David was something else glad i never ran into a man like him. Overall this was a good storyline.
