Five years ago, my entire family was murdered, and I became mated to the demon king. One moment on Earth, and the next moment in a foreign realm filled with ruthless creatures and a savage society I didn't understand.

Four years ago, I loved my king with everything I had. Until one fateful dusk he confessed to murdering my twin, mother, and grandmother. In a single breath my love turned to hate.

Three years ago, I escaped the icy demon king and his sinister fortress atop the peak. But in doing so I merely swapped one type of terror for another.

Two months ago, I discovered my twin was alive and locked in his dungeon… this entire time. Guess he decided to confess to cold-blooded murder and leave that part out?

One month ago, I relinquished the idea of freedom to enter Tiers—the brutal and deadly game only the most desperate demons play. A single winner will survive the Crave Arena to make their demand of the demon king. That winner will be me. It's the only way to kill him, even if I kill myself in the process.

Because three years ago another life became more important than mine.

That life belongs to my son.

I have loved every book of every series in this inter-connected world, and this one was no different.

As a mother myself, I was really engaged in Syera's motivation for killing her mate, and she was a character you could easily root for.

The pace and flow of the story meant that I got completely sucked in and found it very hard to put down.

The story focuses on Syera returning to the mate she ran from three years ago, after learning he can killed her whole family, as was demon custom, so he could become King. She never intended to return from hiding out with the son he knew nothing about, but when she learns her twin sister - who she previously thought was dead - was actually lost in his dungeon, she creates a plan to return and kill him, getting both revenge and saving her son's life. This is because demon Kings are driven to murder their sons, so they can't grow up and take their throne.

As much as I enjoyed this story, I would say it is very different from the other connected stories, for two reasons. Firstly, a key part of the other books have been the games the main character becomes embroiled in with the supernatural group who are the focus of the book. That isn't the case here, and while Syera does enter a battle style game, it's a very small part of the story.

Another big difference in the romance dynamic. There has always been an enemies to lovers dynamic with the previous couples, but not in a major way. The same can't be said about Carmine and Syera. While the mating bond makes them lust after each other, she truly and genuinely loathes him and is intent on killing him. He murdered her Grandmother and Mother, claimed he murdered her twin (Tempest, from the previous series) and outright stated to her that if they ever had a son, he'd kill it as a baby. At this point, I can't possibly see how there is any way they will be together. And, to be honest, I want her to kill him at this point.

Saying that, there is some subtle hints dropped that all is not what it seems, and I am sure that in subsequent books we are going to understand more about Carmine and why he is the way he is, but there is no real relationship development going in in this book.

I highly recommend this and if you've enjoyed the other series, even though this is quite different in tone, I am sure you will enjoy it, too.

Have any of you been chomping at the bit for another Supernatural Battle?? Welcome to the Crave Arena!!

Kelly St. Clare is back with the next series set in the Supernatural Battle universe. This time, readers are thrown headfirst into the demon territory.

The story opens with our FMC, Syera, who has returned to her roots after a hiatus for a specific purpose - to win in the arena and win the ultimate boon.

Carmine, the demon king, has other plans for Syera.

Enter demon politics, culture, and cutthroat schemes. Secrets abound, and both Carmine and Syera struggle to keep theirs hidden, while combating their traumatic history, conflicting morals, and an attraction to one another that neither of them can contain.

Expect some delectable crossover with the mage realm's Supernatural Battle storyline. Reading the previous trilogies isn't necessary to enjoy this book, however, I strongly recommend it to fully appreciate the universe and how the stories interconnect and provide a background for what's to come. Besides...those books are entirely edible (deliciously so!), too.

I absolutely love this series and have been waiting on the demon part since the last book was put out! Despite being a fan of this author, I still wasn’t prepared for the emotional turmoil she placed me in.

Syera has been honed into a weapon forged by love, hatred, and despair. She fights because she must fight to win it all or risk losing the people she loves most. Unfortunately, it is against someone she thought she would love forever. Her dedication to her cause was such a strong theme in the book that I took up her cause with her, albeit with some emotional damage.

She is fighting in the demon version of games, where only one may live to request something at the end. However, she has to learn queenly duties, sneak out the fortress every day, kill without remorse, oh and fight the overpowering lust that consumes her when she is near her ex! That is a lot for one woman to contend with.

Carmine the demon king. I have never wanted someone to surprise me more than him. I literally need him to be under a curse or possessed or SOMETHING dang it. I want to believe he has true feelings for Syera and that he has actual emotions. We don’t know enough about him or what’s going on so I’m holding out hope for the next book!

Such an amazing read. The way the games progressed really defined the ARC of the book. The secondary characters were fleshed out and integral to the storyline. The character development of our FMC was visible and hard fought for. This book made me smile, chuckle darkly, rage, and cry. I’m so sad that it ended and can’t wait for the next one!

Fascinating things happening here, I’m not sure how to even classify this book other than obviously fantasy. And I have no clue where we’re headed for book two which is fun! So yeah 4 stars from me but I couldn’t tell you if I would recommend this or not.

Hard to label this a romance when the leads absolutely despise each other right now, but I can see how the big plot twist can develop.

Now that I’ve had some time to digest how I feel about this book.. I can pinpoint that I need to be SHOWN and not TOLD that these characters are capable of love… Otherwise I’m going to keep on struggling to feel much for these characters.

I was eager to learn about the demon realm in Tempest’s story, but I found myself feeling slightly disconnected with this book.. Possibly bc I was introduced to these characters through someone else’s lens. However, I enjoyed it enough to keep on reading, and will continue with the next instalment.

Thank you so much Kelly St. Clare for sending me this ARC!

Crave Arena is the first book in a Fantasy Romance series and omg it was so freaking good! It was unlike anything I’ve read in a long time and I can’t wait for the continuation of Syera and Carmine’s story.

In the past few years Syera fell in love with the demon king, partially mated him, discovered he killed most of her family and run away only to find out she was pregnant with a son who would be killed if the king ever found out. Now she returns to take part in a tournament where the only person alive at the end could get a boon from the king and she intends to get back get twin sister who somehow is still alive in the king’s dungeon. But her plan isn’t as easy as she expected with being thrown back into the demon’s politics and the mating bond making her and Carmine unable to resist each other.

This book is fairly quick paced and I read it in one sitting, the demons and their politics and strange customs and the deadly trials were fascinating to read and that mixed with the interesting plot and complicated relationships between the characters made this book truly unputdownable. There were some shocking intrigues, betrayals, enemies turned allies and I loved it all. Syera was a clever and badass FMC, she was so different from other demons and willing to do anything for her son, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the next book. Carmine was a complicated MMC and I loved to hate him through most of the book, he was truly a villain, he killed members of Syera’s family in the past, killed more in this book and planned to kill the rest in the future without any remorse, he was willing to do anything to keep Syera as his mate, even without her consent, and I’m so excited to see whether we will get some redemption for him. These two are true enemies to lovers or more of enemies to enemies in this book (she literally plans to kill him through the whole book and still does at the end) but I loved their relationship, there was so much tension and they hated the fact how much they wanted each other, that part of the mating bond is really interesting here and I can’t wait to see what happens next with them, I already know the next book is going to be amazing, especially with everything that happened at the end, and I need it ASAP.

Crave Arena is an amazing fantasy romance book, I loved it and recommend it to everyone.

I love Kelly's books and I especially love the Supernatural Battle series! Crave Arena, is the beginning of a new trilogy in the series, and lays the groundwork for a kickass heroine to take over the demon realm and save the rest of the supernatural world. Syera, the long-thought dead twin sister of Tempest, is alive and angry. Five years ago she was kidnapped by the Demon King and claimed as his mate - she has since runaway and become a hardened survivor, but now she has to come back to save her twin sister and family. She enters the "Tiers": the demon-version of gladiator/hunger games to win a favor from the king; unfortunately, this also brings her back to Carmine, her mate and the despised Demon King. She is simultaneously trying to win the games, destroy Carmine/not-fall-back-in-love with Carmine, and save the supernatural world from a demon-invasion. Oh, and she has a family she has to keep safe. Seems like a lot for a half-demon/half-magus.

Since this book is based in the demon realm most of the characters are morally-gray and unlikeable. Even Syera, the FMC, kills regularly and/or stands-by while other demons are killed with little remorse. While Carmine, the Demon King, definitely falls in the category of a "bad guy" and is just plain unlikeable. In fact, much of the book is about how much Syera hates Carmine, but due to the mating ritual is also lusting after him. Personally, I don't know how Kelly is going to square this enemies-to-lovers trope seeing as Syera is 100% planning on killing Carmine and he 110% deserves it. This may be the first male main character of Kelly's where I would be fine if he dies, just sayin'.

I would give this book 4 stars mainly because it kind of repeats this "I hate you, but I lust you" trope non-stop and the final Tiers battle is anticlimactic. That being said, I look forward to the next two books because I bet they'll be absolutely epic if Syera is able to become Demon Queen and save the entire supernatural world from a demon-invasion.

For paranormal romance fans, get ready for another life-or-death struggle in a world completely different from our own where words like mercy and peace don't exist. Part of the Supernatural Battle connected stories, this is the start of a trial set in the demon world with higher stakes than any of the previous stories asking how far you would go to protect your loved ones. The story is full of twisting emotions where you aren't sure what will happen next.

I welcomed the return to this overall world full of paranormal beings with demons being the primary characters in this one and I have to say I found the worldbuilding one of my favorite parts of the story. This felt like there was so much hinted at and I can't wait to read the next one. Syera is intelligent and the high intrigue of the plot kept me on my toes trying to figure out how everything would work out and there are no easy answers which I loved, these were the moments that tugged at my heart.

My critique is that the relationship with King Carmine and how screwed up it is. This makes this book right on the edge of dark romance for me which I do read but did not expect with the other books in this world feeling much lighter in tone. Syera and her struggle are very much the primary focus of the book with the romance being on the back burner.

You do not have to read the other trilogies (Vampire Towers, Werewolf Dens) first but highly recommend the Coven Caves trilogy first because it shares some references and relationships that make more sense after reading those books. This is basically a prequel and explanation for the ending events of that series.

Definitely check out if you love paranormal romance and otherworldly stories with complicated family dynamics, smart lead characters and struggles that don't have easy choices. Thank you to the author for providing a review copy, all opinions are my own.

Absolutely incredible. I have been impatiently waiting for the Demons books to arrive. And I was not disappointed!! Enemies to enemies is spot on and this one is a little different than the others in the best way! I have loved every single Supernatural Battle series books as they came to us. Each faction bigger and better than the last. The coven books and Tempest were my favorite so I was unsure how the Demons would fit in. I will say I was a little confused at first because it had been a while since I read them. So if you dont have a long memory I suggest you, at the very least, reread or skim the last book. Once I reread the previous book literally everything made sense. So much sense. And now I am blown away with how the stories are woven together. Tempest is awesome, but now we get to finally meet her twin Syera. And oh wow is she a badass. Shes funny and sarcastic. Shes incredibly strong and has a drive that certain women know about. The one thing in this world that will push you past your limits and achieve the impossible. Shes taking no crap from anyone and blowing them outta her way. We also are formally introduced to the Demon King. Carmine is something. I feel like I feel like Syera. I wanna love him so bad but I also want to punch him in the face. I am dying to know how his arc is gonna go. Can he even be redeemed in any way after what he did in the last series? I hope to find out soon. His family is... surprising. Love to hate them. I found the demon world to be quite interesting. I love their culture of you're the problem not me and the way they speak to each other. Its definitely different from any other books. Ive loved all the side characters so far and want to know how they will help Syera along the way. I don't want to say much about them, other than Yellow is my favorite too!! Im assuming this will be 3 books as well and I will still be impatiently waiting for the next book!! And keep wondering to myself about those fae comments

⚜️ Book Title - Crave Arena
⚜️ Author - Kelly St. Clare
⚜️ Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⚜️ Some Genre/Themes/Tropes: Adult Fiction, Demons and Fantasy

I received an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book via the author. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is my honest review.

I’ve been counting down for this one! It’s set in a world we’ve already experienced through other characters in the supernatural battle world.

Syera and Carmine are very different from the previous couples. The demon world dynamic feels darker, with a heavy emphasis on the enemies aspect. There’s clearly going to be a complicated arc between these two, especially given their history.

I felt this instalment focused less on the games and more on the characters and their situation. I guess there is a lot more to dissect with the demon behaviour and dynamics.

Overall, I’m keen to see where this one is going. I wouldn’t recommend reading this without reading all the others. There is a lot of context you would be missing as a reader.

I would recommend this book to others who enjoy the previous series. I will be waiting anxiously for the sequel and definitely will look for other books written by this author.

I want to say thank you to the author and publisher for the ARC.

Note (How I rate): One is DNF. Two is got there but struggled. Three stars is a good, enjoyable read. Four is an excellent read and five is a comfort read that lingers with me for life. My five stars can be imperfect but to me they hit right.

Are you ready for battle?

Oh man, where to begin? This incredible multi series is coming closer to its end, and I’m not ready. But to be a part of it has been my honor.

Kelly is brilliant in her ideas and direction of plot. And for the beginning of the Demon point of view, that is no different. I think I have Stockholm syndrome with this couple. I hate the MMC but also, feel like there is something deeper. I want to fix him and I refuse to do that in real life. The FMC is strong and independent. She refuses to be weak again and even when she is weak, she is still strong. Becoming a mother can do that.

There are side characters in this, that I’m beginning to love. Kelly is really good at giving us phenomenal side characters. But in this story, it’s a mutual understanding between the characters compared to solid loyalty in friendship. That may change, but right now the FMC has some demons she can use compared to blindly rely on. So I am excited to see that growth.

I am really excited for the next book as there were some questions in the first that need to be answered.

This series interconnects with each other so it is highly encouraged to start in the vampire series. These characters will probably be in the next book or the last. So it would be a good idea to read them all to get here. However, I think you may be okay just reading this if you choose, though not recommended.

Syera has come back to face the Demon King, Carmine, and to win in the Crave Arena.
She fled from her lover three years ago after learning his secret but now she’s back to exact revenge and ruin his plans to conquer the Supernatural world. She has to win-her life, her freedom, and the lives of all she loves depends on her winning. It’s a tall order, but she’s ready for the challenge. If she can just overcome the mating call. Luckily, Carmine remains his demon self, with his icy demon-who Syera hates-in control.
Beware: all the characters are morally grey, if not black. Love and kindness are weaknesses in the demon world and Syera embraces her demon side.

The book runs in parallel to the events in Last Gift, Book 3 of Coven Cave (in the Supernatural Battle world). You get to see some of those events from Syera’s point of view and I’d say reading the previous books from the Supernatural Battle series are a must to truly understand what happens in this book.

The book is face paced compared to others in the series. Partly because there’s a long history between the two main characters and we get dropped in the middle of their story. The game of Tiers is finished in just one book, compared to a slow build in other books. I’m guessing the next book will reveal the real game, the one of kingdoms.

I’m excited to read the next book and highly recommend the series as a whole.

A very unique story! 🥰

I will do my best to give my thoughts on this book. I will start by saying that the story itself is pretty unique, original and very different from other books. ***What I really liked: Very unique characters, the FMC Syera is truly amazing, She is fierce, strong, vulnerable at times and relentless when it comes to achieving her goals. The MMC Carmine is a true anti-hero. There is no apologizing for who he is and the way he behaves. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding him, so it’s difficult to understand why he behaves the way he does. Once you sink your teeth into this book, it will be hard to let go. ***What I was less enthusiastic about: it takes a minute to get into the story. The author throws you in the deep end from the start and it takes a while to get the hang of the world she created. Additionally, it also takes a bit of time to get used to the distinct demon customs, traditions and behaviors. Overall, this first book was super captivating and very intriguing. Once I was hooked I couldn’t stop until very end. I will say though, that for now I do recommend you read it, but I cannot be sure if I will feel the same way about the next one (since I haven't read it yet). Enjoy!!! 😍😍😍

Welcome to the Thunderdome.....er "TIERS" ....all aboard + buckle up 😍👏 😉

This emotional rollercoaster had me hooked until the very last word. I couldn't let go. Welcome back to Supernatural Battle folks....where fighting dirty and staying alive is the name of the game. Plus using all your wiles along the way in every capacity to get you ahead. Get ready for lots of action, blood, heartbreak, sorrow, need for revenge, and more within these absolutely GLORIOUS pages. Friendships are forged from surprising sources. Family becomes who you make it. There are twists and turns galore and at least a few massive reveals to keep your blood pressure up 😉.

Syera captured my heart from the get go. What a fabulous FMC! She's strong, resilient, resourceful, all in all a total bada$$. Fighting against becoming a queen, yet stitching the kingdom together one demon at a time all the same. Almost like she was born for this role 🤔.

The world building is bold, complex and mind blowing. The detail, colors and layers that helps bring the reader into the demon realm is genius. Perfectly woven together to paint the tapestry of what this universe is like. The characters within come to life and seem like they'd leap off the page.

Syera has one goal in mind- determined. Nothing will stop her, and I absolutely cannot wait to see what is next in her journey! There was heartbreak, adrenaline, betrayal, hope, family, and a host of other emotions packed within these pages. It definitely takes the reader on a doozy of a ride! Bravo indeed!

When I cracked open this book, I said “just one chapter”. At the end of that chapter, I was hooked. Crave Arena possessed me in the best way, and I read the whole book in one sitting, staying up until 3 am to finish. Sleep...don't know her, but I do know a badass FMC when I see her!

Crave Arena is fantasy romance chaos in the best way—deadly trials, demon politics, enemies-to-still enemies but also feral, and a mating bond that absolutely refuses to mind its business.

Syera is a badass FMC with knives, trauma, secrets, and zero patience for the demon king she’s supposed to hate (and maybe kill). Carmine is a walking red flag with a crown—actual villain energy—and yet the tension between them? Illegal. The arena is brutal, the banter is sharp, the betrayals hurt, and the cliffhanger personally attacked me.

This book is set in the interconnected Supernatural Battle Series, but can be read independently from those stories. If you like morally gray demons, unhinged chemistry, and books that end with you yelling “I NEED THE NEXT ONE NOW,” congratulations! Crave Arena is your new obsession.

This is a true enemies to lovers, or maybe even just enemies to... enemies? Syera literally wants to kill Carmine, and I'm not gonna lie, I want that happy ending for her. Slay queen. Seriously though, Slay this absolute monster please.

I completely devoured this book, I have been in a reading slump for months but I tore through Crave arena in less that two days. The story is so fast-paced, and I was immersed right away.

I love Syera, she is a so focused on what she wants, and so DONE with being treated like a fool and lied too.
She uses humor to attempt to take back control while she is continously forced into the worst situations.
I love that she has the same stress response as me- uncontrollable laughter. It's a thing!

I absolutely hate Carmine. Truly, madly, deeply hate this guy. I get the vibe that there are a lot of things he is genuinely forced to do against his will, but he certainly doesnt seem to be fighting it.
I think he is probably end-game for Syera but I cant help myself from seriously rooting for her to kill him at this point. Enemies to lovers is my favourite trope though, so I'm not giving up on him completely yet.

This is my first read of 2026, and an easy 5 stars! I'm going to have to go back and read the previous books in the supernatural battle series now, because I am missing this world already.

The first book in the final trilogy of Kelly’s Supernatural Battle Series - was what I expected.

So damn good. I received an advanced reader copy and I’m so grateful!

Syera has deep rooted evil plans to save the most important thing in her life and she’s stuck in a mating ritual with a demon king.

Yup. It’s drama, lust, tension, and humour, all wrapped in one.

Which is what I’ve loved about all of the books in this intertwined supernatural world.

Favourite phrases:

“Do you want to rake some dirt?”

“She would flip him the bird and show him where her where her fucks given are parked.”

Kelly nails the humour and tension in this series like none other.

Exceptional kiwi humour and thinking that has made this one of my favourite series to read!

And with that ending - I am dying to know where this goes. And now I have to wait!

Add this to your TBR including the other 3 trilogies - you won’t be disappointed!

Key points:

Fantasy, Romantasy, supernatural, demon species, mating rituals, found friends, enemies who are still enemies with heavy lust!

Cat and Mouse

I don't know how Kelly St Clare does it and to be honest I was sceptical about a book all about Demons.. but this is another amazing story and enjoyable read. It was really hard to put it down to get on with normal life. It is fast paced, a world like no other and deserves 5*s. I was disappointed when I finished the book, for me the mark of a great story is not wanting it to end.

This is Syera and Carmine's story and a real cat and mouse storyline where you are never certain who has the upper hand. Syera is strong and intelligent and a great fml, Carmine is the Demon king and on the face of it is everything you would expect in a Demon, ie: a real bas**rd. So I am not routing for a happy ever after more a stab the Demon in the back ending. However, there are some indicators that not everything is as it appears.

This is the 1st book of 3. It forms part of the Supernatural Battle Group but can be read without reading the others. This book doesn't have any cross overs but as "Demon Peaks" are the last/finale of Supernatural Battle I am hoping that the second and third books will have a lot of cross over as I loved all the characters from the previous series.

It's the start of the end.

The final first book in the conclusion to the Supernatural Battle world.

This book does NOT take place where Coven Caves leaves off, I actually am tempted to say at the end of this book we are still not at the place where Coven Caves ends. At this time I would not suggest a joint read of those two books.

Crave Arena starts off with Syera entering a competition of tiers to win a favor from the demon king. But she is doing everything to avoid him finding out she has entered this competition. As it has been 3 years since she has last seen him, and they are partial mates. This series was so good, and I cannot wait to see where book 2 goes. I am looking forward to the reveal of her mate finding about you know who.

Read this book if you like:
*Interconnected Series
*Paranormal Romance
*Fated mates

A fantastic start to the Demon Peaks series. This is a great enemies to lovers story. I highly recommend you read all of the Supernatural Battle books before starting this one. At the very least the Covenant Caves should be read first to maximize understanding of the background of Syera. I couldn’t put this book down. There is lots of hate and heat between Carmen and Syera. Carmine is very much the villain in this book so expect a morally black MMC. I love Syera- she is a warrior with a sense of humor who is determined to win at all costs. Carmine is powerful and the villain but is broken inside and I suspect there is a very interesting story about what’s really going on with him. This book does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared. I can’t wait to read the next book and I highly recommend this book as well as the rest of the Supernatural Battle books.

that ending though 👀

A book that I have been eagerly waiting for: We started with the Vissimo, moved to the Luthers, and most recently met the Magus, now we’ve moved onto the Demons. If at this point you haven’t read any of the other supernatural battle series, you should at minimum go back and read Coven Cave (3 books) first.
We start the journey with a female Demon who is just a little bit different, as she enters a battle ground unlike the rest we’ve seen, to win a favor from the Demon King—who happens to be her mate. Yeah. That she ran away from. No drama here. This is a fast paced book where Syera uses an immense amount of cunning and a love that can be matched by no other to fight battles, physical in the arena, mental and emotional against the King and herself. Hold onto your hats—I already cannot wait for what is next.

This book was fabulous – the demon culture was fascinating to wrap my head around and I felt drawn into the politics and the moral dilemmas. I am desperate for a bit of Carmine’s POV in the next book – let me in his head, please!!!
Syera is fierce and clever with a wicked sense of humour, and is so loyal. My heart broke for her at times because of decisions she made, and yet the brilliance of this writing made me understand and accept those moments, even respect them. This book has unique powers, a complex society, a fated yet star-crossed love story which is currently in its’ enemy phase, and a strong female main character.
I’ve devoured every previous trilogy of the supernatural battle world. Having said that, I don’t think you need to have read the other trilogies to enjoy this book.

To start, the title and cover makes this book feel sillier than it is.

This was very fast paced and unique. I had no idea it was an interconnected series and that cliffhanger! I wouldn’t consider this a romance per se. More of a fantasy story with the hint that maybe romance could develop but only if the MMCs seeming unredeemable qualities are explained. I’m assuming there’s some like curse that comes with the crown that’s infected him? Overall I thought this was really good—exciting, immersive, good banter and developed side characters. I thought the FMC was badass and complex. I didn’t totally understand the twin sister being split but there’s a lot to unpack in book 2. I might also like a MMC POV at some point. I haven’t totally connected with him but that seems intentional to the plot and (hopefully) eventual twist.

I am a huge fan of Kelly St. Clare's Supernatural Battle Universe. This is the creme de la ceme. The story starts with a bang. Syera is battling for her life in the Crave Arena. She is also battling for those she loves most, but must keep hidden at all costs. She can trust no one. Including her mate. Who is the most deadly to her. Syera is in a deep game of life and death. She has to navigate the politics and prejudices deeply embroiled in the deadly demon culture. The demon king is also waging war on the rest of the supernaturals. I enjoyed the minor characters as much as the main characters. The ending is a doozy! I am going to have a hard time waiting for the next book. I hope it won't be too long. I can't wait to get back into this world. I need to see where we go next.

So. Freaking. Good.

The ending of this book, and heck, all the others in this series, is like a giant boom. I had to have a quick read through of parts of the previous books because it’s been a while. But jeepers this was a great read.

The sass on this girl. I freaking love her. She has returned after escaping and spending 3 years in hiding, to fight in a deadly competition. The winner gets a request from the king. The man she is running from and wants to unalive. He’s also supposed to be her mate.

There is just so much weaved into this story, and it is done so very well, I could not put it down. With scheming, and fighting, and heartache, and woven fates being unveiled along the way. Loved. It.

Now I need to survive until the next part of the story.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book.

To say I could not put it down is an understatement! If I didn’t have people relying on my survival then it would have been done in a day.

Can be read as a standalone series however it is best to read other series in the supernatural battle world to get depth to the storyline.

Getting to the end of this book I thought I knew where the cliffhanger would end. However it took a turn in a direction I did not see! Now I’m not sure how I feel and I need to wait until the next book to work through those feelings!

As always Kelly has written an amazing book that tells a story worth reading for those that like fantasy romance ♥️

I LOVE KELLY ST. CLARE!! This series is probably my favorite of everything she’s written and to finally get the demon perspective is everything!!

From the very first page, this book grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go! The raw emotion and relentless pacing make it an absolutely addictive read. The protagonist's journey from a loving mate to a vengeful warrior is heart-wrenching and inspiring. The world-building is dark and imaginative, and the plot twists keep you guessing until the very end. A must-read for anyone who loves a strong female lead, complex relationships, and a story that will leave you breathless.

Oh my gosh I love Kelly St Clare and this book only adds to that when I didn’t think that was possible!
She really has a way of immersing me, makes me fall in love with the characters and I don’t think she’s written a book that hasn’t made me laugh out loud.
As we draw to an end of the supernatural battle series I wasn’t entirely sure what direction we could possible go in that we haven’t before but I should have know better!
I don’t want to give too much away but if you want something that pulls at your heart strings in every way imaginable and won’t let you put it down until it’s finished then this is for you.
I can’t wait for the next instalment now!

WOW it was incredible! A dark, gripping and enthralling read that grabs you and draws you into the Crave Arena. A demonic and brutal set of trials where the winner wins a boon from the demon king himself! Our FMC Syera wants that boon, wants to take him down the way he took her family and nothing will stop her to get it! The world building is incredible, so descriptive that you can easily see everything and feel everything and the storyline, well that just blows you away with the intrigue, the shocking surprises and the betrayals as we follow our kick ass FMC. It’s an intense well paced read that has me hooked and eager for more!
