An adventure of epic proportions! I, Geronimo Stilton, had returned to the Kingdom of Fantasy on the wings of the Phoenix of Destiny! Blossom, Queen of the Fairies, needed my help once again. But Blossom was behaving strangely. She sent me off on quest after magical quest, each one more bizarre and dangerous than the last. It felt like my missions were building up to something truly terrible right under my snout. Could my friends and I put things right again? It's a story full of twists and turns, mazes and puzzles, and tons of fantastical creatures!
Elisabetta Dami is an Italian author that currently resides in Italy. She is the author of the Geronimo Stilton series, a bestselling childrens book. She enjoys traveling the world seeking ideas for her series. She writes under a pseudonym of Geronimo Stilton. She is also a co-owner of Italian based publishing company Edizioni Piemme.
My book review is on The Phoenix of Destiny by Geronimo Stilton. The main character of this book is named Geronimo Stilton. This book takes place in the Kingdom of Fantasy. This book is about Geronimo going to the Kingdom of Fantasy. During his trip there the queen of the kingdom asks Geronimo to go on a trip and get her all these magical things. Geronimo got her all these special things but he ended up to find out that the queen was actually the real queen's bad sister and she used all these magical things to kill her sister. So Geronimo gathered up his friends to save the good actual queen. This was a good boo because it has action, climax, and a good conflict. That is my book review on The Phoenix of Destiny.
I really enjoyed this story. I checked it out from my library because I love how the book is designed: it has an intriguing cover and gold-edged pages! I read it as part of the Tome Topple Readathon. And I'm glad I did. This book made for a nice break when I was feeling bored by another of the tomes I am reading (*ahem* Lonesome Dove *cough, cough*).
Sadly, I still have over 500 pages to go in Lonesome Dove, but I wanted to finish one of the four tomes I was reading, so I focused on this one today (August 8, 2017).
I really enjoyed this story. Geronimo Stilton is a delightful mouse protagonist and his adventures in here made for fascinating reading. I loved how we readers were given mazes and puzzles to solve, and a strange alphabet to decode (with the help of the key at the end of the book). :-)
I do wish, though, that the pages that asked us to find the phoenix feathers and Geronimo's notebook and pen had been worked into the beginning of the story. Coming as they did at the end, well. . . I did enjoy this story, but I didn't want to go through all 574 pages again to find those things. :-/
Apart from that minor complaint, though, this was a fun story. I loved how the text incorporated special fonts and font effects to delineate certain words (example: the word blue was colored blue).
And I really loved the illustrations. The team who created them did a fantastic job! They were so vibrant! :-)
I was a wee bit disappointed that it took Geronimo so long to realize that Blossom so wasn't herself that he should investigate why. But he did eventually investigate, and he did eventually solve that mystery. It took me by surprise that So that was a fun twist, and it explained why :-)
I did find it sort of annoying how, every once in awhile, Geronimo would drop a line referencing an earlier adventure of his in the Kingdom of Fantasy. I hadn't realized there were earlier adventures. But in the end of the book there was a long list of other stories featuring Geronimo and others. This book is apparently the eighth!
Again, though, this was a really fun story and I really enjoyed it. :-)
I am now hoping that my library owns others in this series, so that I can read all of Geronimo's adventure stories. :-)
The Phoenix of destiny is a book with adventure, fantasy and etc book with vampir, dragons and etc. I would suggest this book to kids 10 and above. The book is a little bit confusing at first but than you'll understand it towards the end of the book it's funny, confusing and etc.
the book is about a mouse who goes on crazy adventures and this one, in particular, was a special book with mini-missions the add up to a 1 big missions.
the theme of the story is to never give up and to keep pushing and let your imagination run wild!
Sis u helped me through the tough times when I was a 9 year old <3 1000000000000000/5 ily
The Phoenix Of Destiny is about a mouse named Geronimo Stiliton. He gets called to the world where make believe creatures exist. This time he meets many people to get certain items and help free Blossom. Also, save the Kingdom Of Fantasy.
This book is a fantasy genre. Its that kind of book because there are many make believe, fantastical creatures for example, fairies and witches. This may be a challenging read for younger readers because it is longer than the other books. But it highlights a lot of words with decorations for possible difficult words.
In the book, Geronimo goes on many quests to find various items but, he got tricked into doing it from Blossoms twin sister. Then he had to stop her from doing it by reversing all of the items he had collected on his quests to finally stop Wither.
Geronimo is interesting because he isn't brave like a normal knight, hes very timid and scared! Its very interesting because he always flies on dragons and he gets motion sick. The Phoenix is also pretty fun to see because its almost unbelievable that the frog, daughter of scribblehopper is the phoenix.
The theme is about saving The Kingdom Of Fantasy from Cackle and Wither because they imprisoned Blossom in the room. Its also about how Geronimo fetched all of the items to imprison Blossom as a trap and all of the bad parts.
The setting is The Kingdom Of Fantasy of course. Its the setting because he starts at his home and community and then he gets called to the fantasy world. He spends almost all and about 99% of the time there, finding items and freeing Blossom.
Lastly, for my opinions. I think that the book is great because it has a lot of adventure and mythical creatures like dragons. It has interesting characters and locations in the Kingdom Of Fantasy. I reccomend this book to ages 6-11. Also, I give it five stars.

The book The Phoenix of Destiny by Elisabetta Dami tells the story of a mouse that is sent to the Kingdom of Fantasy by the Phoenix of Destiny to do quests for the queen. He goes on variety of missions to go get certain items for the queen. The problems the character encountered were when the queen suddenly got mean, going to the most dangerous areas to get those items, and had no helpers. My favorite part of this book was at the end when everyone was celebrating for Geronimo's victory against the queen's twin sister. My least favorite part was when he had to go on several dangerous missions to go get items that seem suspicious. I would recommend this book for little kids that like to read long books because this doesn't involve a complicated plot and story. If I could change anything in the book, I wouldn't change anything, its already a good book to read.
great book with lots of puzzles and other stuff .this book is realy exciting with Geronimo Stilton finding treasures for evil wither who had captured blossom and took over the crystal castle at the enchanted city. this book has a nice cover and golden pages!I would recomend it to anyone who is finding a good fantasy book.
I'm seven and this is the second longest book I've read, and also the fourth Geronimo Stilton book that I have read. I liked the story, but thought it too long. I thought it was better then the others that I've read, and the Illustrations I thought were better than the others too. I like the character Wither, and all the other characters in each book.
I stopped reading on page 260. I set the book down on the library shelf to be shelved!!!! Oops, silly me. I plan to finish this book. I got the book back and finished it.
I read this book for nostalgic reasons. I do realize I’m not really the target audience for this book. I remember reading the kingdom of fantasy books but I had never read this one growing up. I thought the plot was really repetitive and through the middle I got kind of done with it. However I think it ends in a very meaningful way so that’s why I gave it three stars.
I liked this book because it was funny, and I like the picture. I recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy. Also, I like Geronimo stilton's books.
“Cheddar NUGGETS!” I yelled, as I looked around. I was in an ENOR-MOUSE cave!!!! There were

Suddenly I was

CHEESE DOODLES! I yelled.
It was the deadly sea enchanted troll fairy!!
WHAAAAHHHH???? I exclaimed.
“Have no fear” the sea troll fairy gently said. She pointed to her

Did you enjoy the above? I hope you did. Because this type of high quality, font shifting ADHD-inducing literature saturates the nearly 600(!) pages of the latest Geronimo Stilton book.
If you can stomach the Pat-the-bunny vocabulary, dizzying, kaleidoscopic mess of Comic Sans and Microsoft Word Art occupying each square millimeter of each page, the roughly 7,513 featureless characters who are introduced with great pomp and circumstance, only to quickly disappear with no discernible effect on whatever razor-thin semblance of a plot tenuously holds the book together instead of being a discombobulated collection of Italian fever dreams, then you might be able to convince yourself that, hey, it’s not Proust, but at least your 8-year old is reading.
As a bibliophile I was drawn in by the cool illustrations, quality paper and that a recent book had gold trim. So I borrowed it! On one hand it is utterly delightful, Geronimo is a mouse, who had many adventures in the land of Fantasy, and he returns once more to a series of quests set by the Fairy Queen Blossom. However Blossom appears somewhat changed, in fact after 1st visit he is greeted by locked doors and doesn't see her throughout. (Not often I start a series with the last one out). The writing changes fonts, illustrations are prolific and the story is interspersed with find it puzzles and mazes (unusually for me I found them easy). There is a plethora of characters with new and old friends involved. As an adult I found myself wanting a child to read it to, (and wondering if my grandson is too old for this or would it spark a revival of interest in reading?) The author takes a ton of cliches and re-invents them with an original outlook. (or something like that). Yet after awhile the repeated start of Blossom not seeing him is annoying. While the adventures unique and enjoyable, they are too easily and quickly dealt with. Or I'm too used to adult or older kids fantasy!
