Serenity

There is nothing I hate more than chaos. I grew up in a family that was in a constant state of turmoil. That’s why I’ve worked hard in my adult life to keep my world calm.

Unfortunately, my brother followed in their footsteps. Before he died, he racked up a huge debt with the Scorpions MC. I don’t have their money, so they’ve given me two options. The first involves me shmoozing up to the president of their rival club. The second isn’t even worth mentioning.

“Who did you say you were looking for?” the bartender asks, interrupting my thoughts.
“Um, Chase Turner,” I answer nervously.
He laughs, tipping his head toward the darkest corner of the bar. “He’s right over there, sweetie, but calling him by his government name might get you ...” He pauses to draw a finger across his throat.
I glance over my shoulder, finding the president of the Royal Bastards watching us with a stillness that is unsettling. “What should I call him then?”
“Folks around here call him Rage.”

3.5 stars. Not bad. Definitely held my attention. Though dark elements were mentioned, to me this was MC light. MMCs were likable. Maybe a little too perfect for me. As there wasn't that much suspense and you knew what was coming. The relationship between MMCs was kismet. They were drawn to each other from the first meet, but they don't get together until around 70%, so it had more of a slow burn feel. This book is part of a series collab with different authors. But this one left on a bit of a cliffy for the next MMCs from this author. Not sure I'm too excited for that one though because I'm not into twin brothers sharing a woman. Not saying that's what we'll get as no info was given in the end, but it looked like it was going in that direction. Overall very easy and decent MC book that has my interest piqued to check out more books from this author.

Safety: no cheating. Mention of club bunnies, but zero scenes with them.

Rage & Serenity

A must read. I couldn’t put it down! Having Cole and Carson there meant that it was like coming home. I love Rage and Serenity - and Mila. I am so excited for more.

This is book one in LM Terry's new series, and it was so so good!

Rage is the President of the Royal Bastards MC, Cheyenne WY Chapter. He loves his club, his brothers, and his life.

Serenity grew up in chaos, a scheming family and a life she hated. She finally separated herself from her toxic family and was living a simple life in a small town with a job she loves and a small apartment. She was happy. When she gets a phone call that her brother died she wasn't sure how to deal with it. When her boss allows her the day off she was approached by a man wearing a cut, he claims her brother owes his club money and now she's in debt to them. When she refuses they kill her boss and force her to their club. She's given an ultimatum, pay off her brothers debt by being a club bunny or infiltrate another club in Cheyenne and try and get secrets out of the club president.

She's too shy, too honest, and too sweet. The Royal Bastards figure out pretty quickly that she was sent by the scorpion's and they decide to keep her safe. Rage is slowly falling in love with her, but Serenity has only known pain and doesn't know love. When Rage gets temporary custody of his baby sister (She's 3), Serenity agrees to help Rage and pretends to be his fiancé. I loved getting to know more about Cole and Carson the twins from the Skulls who left to find their own way and joined the Royal Bastards. It was so nice seeing some of our favorite Skull members when they stepped in to help Rage and Serenity.

I could not put this book down and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the members of this chapter!!!

Love Rage and Serenity!!!

This is my first ever Royal Bastards MC book. However, it’s not my first by LM Terry. I absolutely love her Rebel Skulls MC series. I wanted to go in with little to no expectations. I did not want to judge it against RSs because that is a fantastic beast all its own. And this is definitely not that series.
Rage is a great start to a new series. It has a great world and character building. Absolutely addictive side characters that you want to learn more about. It is a very slow burn. Rage definitely falls first and he falls hard while Serenity needs to learn how to trust not only herself but also other people. Both characters have tons of baggage that they need to sort through. And it’s written exceptionally well. There are moments of darkness, but I’d consider it very light gray. I’m excited to see what Linda has in store for us. This is a fantastic starting point for her new series.
Also, hello twins!!!!!! I’m so excited and obsessed with them. Wooooohoooooo.

ONE OF THE BEST ROYAL BASTARDS, NO WAIT, ONE OF THE BEST MC BOOKS TO DATE.

Linda had a style that is effortless and keeps you wanting to read; I devoured this book.

Serenity was such a quiet, unassuming little thing, with a backbone of steel and the will power noone saw coming. Rage had so much trauma in his life he was scared to try and hold onto anything, until she came along. Mix in a set of identical twins, a sister who's in danger and an MC full of brothers you can't wait to meet, and you have the Royal Bastards MC: Cheyenne WY.

Their road to happiness was not easy, but LM Terry took you by the hand and steered you through their lives like the pro she is. And I got an appearance from one of my all time favourite character's of hers. Be still my beating heart for the original ink slinger.

Bring on all the other characters. I'll just sit here and wait.

Rage and Serenity are the perfect fit

If you like MC romance then this is one you definitely want to check out. I loved her Rebel Skulls series and we even get some brief appearances by two of my favorites from that series, Big Dan and Jesse. Big Dan's twin sons also play a big part in this story and they definitely inherited Big Dan's protective nature. Serenity tried to escape from her toxic family only to end up being used as a pawn in a game she didn't ask to play. Rage understands Serenity's struggles with her toxic family and is desperate to make her realize she is worthy of love. Be aware of potential triggers such as child neglect, drug addiction, and overdose of a parent.

ARC READ!!!!

The biggest pro for me with this book, and I’m going to assume will follow through the whole series, is the connection and participation of the Skulls!!! The excitement I had when the twins mentioned their family and that they had help, I gasped and laughed and squealed out loud!!

I love how Serenity just took becoming a mom at full swing and embraced it!! The wedding day, and her dad coming (bless Jesse’s heart) was great!!

I can’t wait for the rest of this series! Almost wish I didn’t read it right away so I could binge read the series!! 😂😂❤️❤️

This is gritty, emotional, and properly gripping. Rage might be hard as nails, but seeing him fight for little Mila shows a whole different side, you just can’t help but root for him. Serenity’s just trying to keep her world steady, yet gets pulled into the chaos because of the Serpents and their chemistry is all tension and heart.

Mila absolutely steals it, she’s such a sweet, adorable kid.

And the added bonus of the Skulls turning up, especially Dan, Lily and Jesse made this even better, and that twist? Didn’t see that coming.

It’s intense, and hard to put down.

Once again 5 star MC read. I read all the Rebel Skulls MC series which are fantastic and this seems to follow on from there with a different MC but a few characters are mentioned in this book. Personally I think you’d be missing out if you didn’t read the Rebel Skulls first although this book can be read as a standalone. Exceptionally well written dealing with emotional topics so check trigger warnings and some spice. I only ever give a book 5 stars if its so good I can’t put it down and would read over and over again

serenity tamed Rage

I have had a book hangover since the skulls series so was delighted when I had seen the promp for this new book. I don’t even read the blurbs if it’s LM Terry I’m hooked and will pre-ordering that bad boy.
I highly recommend this read, we get some cameos from the skulls (chefs Kiss and highly recommend the series) and we get introduced to the lovely peanut ha ha Love him. This book is an introduction to the royal bastards and small town MC, you get a feel for the FMC who sadly leaves another town she called home due to tragedy and an impossible ultimatum, All she wants is an easy life. She arrives in the new town on the mission she was sent on she faces mistrust at every turn. Her heart breaks open when she discovers how far betrayal runs, she bends over backwards to help and to share her light where she can, she even puts her life on the line. Grab the tissues this one will hit the emotional roller coaster 🎢 She unfortunately gets sent back due to mistrust, she also finds out how she has been played from the start.
We see Jessie give a helping hand with her usual flare oh Justice is very bitter sweet when shadows are dropped and the big picture comes to light. Rage has grovelling to do as does Carver. Love the twins and the support they give thats unforgettable new found family. Defo done the skulls proud.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an introduction to the RBMC

I loved how the author got us to know serenity and watch her grow with her relationships with mmc and the side characters.
The side characters always add alot to the story.
With every book I read from this author, its a can't put this down even though its 2:30 in the morning.
I hope there is many more to the series as she has built up potential for the next look.

So Good

As a loyal Skulls reader I wasn't sure what to expect with this series. I will say, I loved it. It is definitely not as intense as Skulls, but still good in its own way. I love the characters in this MC and I really cannot wait to see each of them make their way. And CC??? All I hoped for when they were with the Skulls. Glad to also see Jesse still up to her tricks...lol.

It’s a wonder how LM Terry always amazes me. I’m never surprised in that aspect. This new series though?! With oldie but goodie characters?! I’m flabergasted. I’m so in love with this new series and it’s only the first book…
the main characters seem to be polar opposites, but deep down all they want is peace.
Rage & serenity are a match made in heaven delivered to hells door steps with the unstable life’s they’ve both lived. The way this story unfolds
is everything to me.

If you've never read a book by her I'd recommend the skulls series first because they are going to be mentioned in this one! But holy crap! If your going in blind without reading a different book this one is without a doubt the one you need to read! I was instantly obsessed with the characters and can't get enough. I could read anything she writes, she's my go to author. Whatever she writes I will definitely be getting and obsessing about.

Serenity has made a quiet life for herself away from her family, but that is turned upside down when her brother has run up a massive debt with Scorpions MC. They expect her to repay the debt by worming her way into the Royal Bastards trust for information

I loved this story, hooked from the very first page. It is everything and more that you expect from Linda Terry. Betrayals, lies, deception, childhood trauma, toxic family drama and a huge range of emotions. A brand new Royal Bastards MC family, great characters and cameos from my favourite Rebel Skulls.

I love everything that Linda writes and this book exceeded my expectations. Definitely more than 5*

REVIEW OF ADVANCED COPY

LM Terry has done it again. I absolutely loved this book! The characters were so engaging and I love how her characters use a lot of snark and sarcasm.
This book made me cry, laugh, yell and feel all the feels. This is definitely worth reading and I’m looking forward to the next books in this series.

Lately, I haven’t had very good luck with the new RBMC books. Pretty much every one I read is less than stellar for me. When I happen to see Rage (Royal Bastards MC:Cheyenne WY) I thought I’d give it a try. So glad I did because it was soooo good. I was hooked from the very first page. Looking forward to the next Bastard in this series

Rage and Serenity are a couple that edges match with each other. As Serenity is trying to leave her toxic family behind her deceased brother drags her into a mess that is completely not her own and yet, she’s paying for it. Rage is the one that falls first, even with the traumatic past he has. We get to see a few familiar faces while others are introduced and now, I want their stories.

This was a good read, very slow burn (like 80%!). I didn’t really feel the strong connection between the characters and then suddenly they’re doing declarations and finally gettin’ some.😜 I’m interested in the twins story for sure!

an amazing story of found family, healing from childhood trauma and finding a place just for you, a place you feel safe in for the first time in your life. lm terry does really good with these kinda tropes and she did not disapoint with this one.

Brilliant

I absolutely loved this, it made it all the more special with pop ups from the skulls, it took me way to long to figure out that it was Carson and Cole from the Skulls, but the dragonfly made me instantly think of the Skulls. I can't wait for more.
