Intricate story.
I love the Lee Callaway books. There is a case of a stolen baby from decades ago (Lee's case) and a recent body found dumped, after an apparent stabbing (Holt & Fisher case).
These two investigations are separate but intertwined.

nice one-tragic since it’s homicide but nice story
A young woman’s body is found-and it is clear she has very recently given birth. Who is she - and where is her baby?
And Calloway is retained by a woman to search for her mother’s first baby - who was abducted from her at birth. With the trail decades old, Callaway sets forth.
