⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 A mystery that was never solved and years later another possibly connected crime occurred. Mallory worked on the old case but they never had any clues as to what happened. She gets put on the new case and is trying to tie them together. The problems I had with this book was that it just seemed slow. I struggled to get into. I also would get confused as there were people and incidents that really were irrelevant and you never knew found out what the purpose of them and the character had in the story. The ending was very lackluster and just had no suspense. I think it could have been a great crime story but just fell a little short.
