I came to the mountains to escape. I didn’t know he was already waiting.
Killian Wolfe lives off-grid, deep in the mountains, where no one dares trespass. But the moment I move into my aunt’s remote cabin, I feel it. Someone is watching me. Things go missing. And at night… I swear it feels as if someone is in the room with me.
He says he’s here to protect me. From the town. From my boss. From every man who’s ever looked at me wrong.
He doesn't ask permission. He leaves offerings. And I can't stop craving the monster in the trees.
This isn’t just a stalker romance. It’s a possession story.

NO...JUST... NO! Out of all the stalker romances I've read, this the only one that I couldn't look pass his crazy. I think it was the isolation... that was a big turn off for me.
Finally, an author who models her main female character more realistically!
First, I want to say that this is another fantastic story by Ms. Amaya Black. Her writing has gotten progressively better, and I can't wait to see what she has in store next.
Now, getting back to my review……finally, an author creates a female character that resonates with what the everyday woman desires. If we have a handsome, smart, and obsessive man pursuing us, we’re definitely going to want them! And that’s okay! It’s perfectly fine to be happy and content with someone who is captivated by you, even if they “force” you to be with them 🥴
So, thank you for a quick, fast-paced, reality-driven book! It was dark, juicy, and featured the perfect Mr. Obsession anti-hero…
If you like, dark, stalking, crazy, obsessive, and loving men and the woma who falls for him, then Killian and Lena's story is for you. Through obsessive and manipulative behavior Killian and Lena find their HEA.
Amaya never has let me down when it comes to her books. This love was between 2 people one who wanted to be loved and one who loved hard. Glad they decided to be twisted together
I have read many stalker and obsessive-red flagged mmc books (novella and full length) before, but this one, was not it for me. I was fine during the beginning and a maybe a very small portion of the mid point where they hookup for the first time but damn the rest wasn’t it.
Tropes: Stalking, Love at First Sight, Gaslighting (adjacent), cat and mouse, Touch her and meet your maker, Possessive Hero, Proximity, Kidnapping (adjacent) The always entertaining Amaya Black gives us her take on the possessive mountain man in Stalk Me Daddy 😊. Seeking a fresh start and some solitude, Lena moves to her aunt’s cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her new home is quiet, secluded and perhaps a tad too isolated. However, she is sure that her new job at the art gallery would take up her time. Killian Wolfe fell into “obsession” with Lena without ever having actually seen her in the flesh. Looking at her through his camera equipment was enough to send his senses reeling. Just how far will he go to secure her body and soul? Good question😊😊 Conclusion: Ms. Black gives her readers a relatively quick story at just over 100 pages, and she titillates our interests thoroughly. With a name like “Wolfe” I wasn’t sure if Killian would have some shifter elements to his personality. However, I was not disappointed by his take charge, possessive persona. He was firm in his belief that Lena belonged to him, and he was determined to move all obstacles in his way. Lena was intrigued by him while being understandably cautious about his singleness of purpose. Final words, I enjoyed Killian’s strong disposition and his resourcefulness. Lena was sweet and a bit skittish but ultimately glad to have such an unrelenting love! Favorite Lines: I wasn’t going to spook myself. I was twenty-eight. A grown-ass woman. I didn’t believe in ghosts or monsters or things with glowing eyes. I believed in fresh starts. "You like being wanted this much. You like knowing someone is obsessed with you." That soft, genuine smile that was only for me. It made something warm settle beneath the possessiveness, something that almost felt like contentment. https://theretiredreader.com/f/stalk-...
This book pulled me into their world and didn’t let go till the last word. Lena moved to her aunts cabin in the mountains, taking a job at the local art gallery. She doesn’t realize she has caught the eye of someone else living on the mountain. She thinks she see’s something at the window, but nothing’s there. Feels like someone is watching her but she sees no one. She meets an intense man at a gallery event, Killian a neighbor who says he’s her around. Killian has been watching her since she moved in. Taking small things from her house, leaving gifts the longer she’s lived there. Wow, this was an intense story. Killian knows she is his and Lena is attracted to him. Can she handle his obsession? Will she realize he has been stalking her. Read and find out. This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I plan on reading more if they’re as good as this one.
This is a enjoyable story with amazing characters that's captivating with a relationship that is entertaining and drama filled. The couple has a sizzling spice that burns for each other while one of them is completely obsessed their love still works. This is a amazing story about a couple that met on a dark stretch of road without them being together. I enjoyed Lena and Killian story. The story has some triggers but its still one you'll enjoy this couple and when they come together it's sweet. There is a lot of emotional parts. But through it all it their love keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. You will keep the pages turning for the twist and mystery. The ending made me want to read more about this couple but you don't always get what you want. I'm looking forward to reading the next book from Amaya Black. This is a great romance to enjoy. Highly Recommend
She always write good books. I read so many of her books and once again she never disappoints. This is was a really good read. Im not gonna lie... I got a little scared when Lena pulls up to aunts cabin and see yellow eyes I'm like uh oh. That could be a wolf or someone disguised as one. But Killian was really obsessed with Lena but comes to find out Lena isolated herself from what love could look and feel like my guess. But all in all I would recommend this book people might look at like it might be a little crazy not me. I enjoyed every bit of the book and the cover art. Big one sis!!!
Obsessive isn't even the right word. If this reflected someone's real life, I'd say it sounds more like Stockholm syndrome than romance. Love shouldn't be built on manipulation or carefully orchestrated plans. Killian and Lena's story didn't come across as romantic to me. Instead, it felt like she eventually gave in simply because he refused to stop pursuing her. This was a quick read, but I wouldn't classify it as a romance novel. It read more like a story about someone overlooking or ignoring every red flag.
I don't read too much dark romance, so I wanted to give this short read a try. I’m not sure if I like the story. It wasn’t bad, just some stuff did it for me while others didn’t. The title tells you what will happen in the book, but there is a twist. Is the twist good? IDK. Does anything besides stalking happen? Not really. Is there a happy ending? Technically.
At least they both wanted the same thing at the end! It was crazy, but it was the thing they both needed! You cannot ask for more than that, other than the little bundle that would soon be popping out to join them in their happy world!
There's nothing like a solid stalker love book. This was pretty good and straight to the point. Killian was definitely special. Short and sweet read, though I would've liked more on his origin story.
Uhhh, the whole book wasn’t the type of stalker romance I was used to and it kind of just fell flat for me. The characters, the plot and the spice. It also didn’t flow well throughout the story, just felt forced, choppy and not very swoon worthy.
This book was male lead was a couple of fries short of a happy meal. His creepy was a different kind but I really enjoyed it. Great flow story was great with amazing details.
This here is wow, Killian is unhinged, he saw Lena and snapped lol... He was, I want her no matter the cost and Lena 🤦🏾♀️ she folded 😂 the spice was 🔥Truly enjoyed this...
