Two rival fae princes who have never even heard of hockey, probably, dislike each other until they don’t. Their countries have been at war forever so they’re supposed to be following a grr-I-hate-you script but they’re both soooo dreamy that they decide to just bang instead. Whoever was in charge of the foley situation here needs either a raise or to go to jail, I don’t know which.
Enemies: lover-fied. Wings: trembling. Whimpering: extremely present. Erotic audio may not be for everyone, but it sure is a huge win for fans of men moaning. 5 stars I do not care I DO NOT CARE.

Ember & Ice is a Quinn exclusive and can only be accessed through their subscription service. They aren’t paying me to say that. I literally paid them to listen. This fandom is a prison.

I thought the conflict in the final episode was a little nonsensical, like how did they think that was actually going to work - but full stars because moaning Hudcon is always spectacular 🔥🔥🔥 (The plot is also actually very enticing as well, that too)

This got a 3 hours long standing ovation from me in my room for Hudson Williams’ moans and whimpers alone.

Hey friends! I have not posted a review on my grid since NOVEMBER, and trying to catch up is DAUNTING. But, have no fear, I’m BACK today with a review of... Ember & Ice. Which I cannot review on Goodreads (I guess because it’s not a book? INSANE), but I feel like I needed to share my thoughts because WE ARE ALL THIRSTY FOR ALL THE HEATED RIVALRY-ADJACENT CONTENT. So, settle in friends, and I will give you the details on what I have seen described as “Shane and Ilya cosplaying as fae princes.”

Ember & Ice is an exclusive audio erötica story told in three parts on the subscription app Quinn by none other than Connor and Hudson. Hudson plays Finn, the Lunari heir to the throne and Connor is Dane, a playboy prince for a rival court who loves to have fun. It’s basically Heated Rivalry but make it fae princes - forbidden love, hidden relationship, high spice with a slow burn. They are both the fastest fliers? Finn is uptight and closeted and Dane is chaotic and bi? DANE EVEN MAKES HIM (what is basically) A SANDWICH? I was EATING THIS UP.

There was like... a decent amount of actual story here? It’s not JUST spice, and I was very pleasantly surprised. And of COURSE, there’s Connor and Hudson’s voices. The story is told in dual pov first person, duet-style with no “audience involvement.” While Connor does not use his Russian accent (sad day), their voice acting is really impressive. I could listen to these guys talk ALL DAY about literally anything, so why NOT have them as fairies talking about each other’s quivering wings?!

The sound effects in this sound VERY REAL. It’s graphic audio-level sound engineering y’all. And while personally I would rather listen to someone describe spice rather than listen to it happen, ya know what, I was here for the experience, and I just giggled and blushed while Connor and Hudson whimpered, moaning, and panted in my ears.

Overall, this was a very interesting way to entertain myself for about 2 hours, and listen Quinn, if you get Connor and Hudson to record something else? I’ll be back IMMEDIATELY.

Loved every second of Ember & Ice! The conflict, the yearning and the heat were all 🔥 plus I’m always going to devour anything with Hudson and Connor. I’m not usually into romantasy but I really enjoyed the story. Highly recommend!

As a story it was kind of bare bones, but it's an audiodrama so it is expected.
The performances were stellar though.

i listened to this only because i love hudson and connor and i want to support whatever they do and they are amazing actors so i had high expectations for this. i must say i am sadly very dissapointed. they writing is just okay, i didn't feel too intrigued by it and tbh a bit lost most of the time. i felt like the directing was kinda bad because whoever was giving hudson and connor instructions didn't know what they were doing because how are these two amazing actors doing such flat line deliveries??

more like „listened, gasped, screeched, paused, played again, blushed, crumbled, screeched some more and died“, but yeah, let‘s book it under „read“. like the true queen ali said: I DO NOT CARE

it‘s 2026, so, like, shame?! i do not know her

Cuando Patroclo dijo que sería capaz de reconocer a Aquiles solo con olerlo, yo soy solo con escuchar a Hudson hablar. Creo que auditivamente tengo su voz tatuada en el tímpano 🚬

Book 2 of 2026 - ☑️! I’m counting this as a book/novella - I will not be taking any questions at this time…

Ember & Ice by Colleen Scriven and narrated by Connor Storrie & Hudson Williams. I’ll be honest, I didn’t know that Quinn existed until I saw promo materials for Ember & Ice in my algorithm for the most obvious reasons.

Centering around Finn & Dane, 2 fae princes whose families are allies, then enemies, then (no spoilers). Finn is heir to the Lunare throne, while Dane, Solari Prince, has multiple older brothers, and thus is further from the throne, which leads him to have less responsibilities. Finn & Dane meet outside of a party and have an instant connection. The Solari clan started taking Lunare territory, and the Lunare fought back. Amidst all of this, Finn & Dane continue to meet and through both physical connection and intimacy, they fall in love.

This is on Quinn, so it should come as no surprise that this 3 part series is extremely spicy. I don’t usually gravitate to Romantasy, but this was a fun departure from my usual reads. Connor and Hudson could read the phone book, and I’d be completely enthralled - their meteoric rise due to their talents and seeming so down-to-earth has been lovely to watch. They could work on projects together for the entirety of their careers and I’d still believe they belong together in every universe, as any characters. 4/5 ⭐️ and 5/5 🌶️. 🪽 🔥 🧊 #EmberandIce

Absolutely no plot but 10/10 moaning. Listened with AirPods on 2x speed during Disney On Ice which provided really discordant audio-visual input LOL

I WANT THIS INJECTED INTO MY VEINS!!!!

These two are literal soulmates in every single universe and you will never convince me otherwise. The chemistry between them is absolutely insane and their voices 🥵🥵 This was the hottest thing I have ever listened to in my entire life.

And episode three... don't even get me started. Them finally being together again after five years, Dane being jealous over Finn's arranged marriage... the coup that Finn had to find his way out of. It was all done so well for a short story.

I will never look at cinnamon bread the same way again.

Give me a million sequels please and thank you. But especially thank you to Hudson and Connor because this fandom is beyond blessed to have them.

.....I know ya'll have to be lying about how good this is.

thank you to my loves who joined me on this audio journey but there was neither enough smut or enough plot to make this any good. it was poorly written from start to finish, the sound effects were laughable, and hudson williams sounded like he was forced to record this against his will.

if you're horny and you're only here to listen to men moan and bone then yeah you might enjoy this but I fear I need a little more substance with my smut.

If Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams are involved, I'm consuming it. And that's exactly what I did with this. I am not ashamed.

The storyline is very fast paced but I didn't care. I was so far down the HR rabbit hole when this was released, that I literally set up camp and this up.

Now I spose I have to binge HR for the 53rd time. Ugghhh, fine 🤭🤭🤭

perfection absolute perfection. so well written for hudson and connor. i found so many parallels to heated rivalry which made me so happy LOL but also a really beautiful story of identity and self acceptance other than the immaculate spice

Was I at all here for the plot? Absolutely not. It was fine. I'm hard to please when it comes to Romantasy, but it was kind of interesting and easy enough to follow what was going on. Sun, moon. Wings. Kingdoms. War. Etc. Sure.

Audio production? Top notch. Narration performance? Exquisite. Spice? Impeccable.
