I enjoyed the premise of this book and the characters, but it was all over the place in terms of writing. For example, the names of characters changed from page to page. There was a meeting early on which took place at 6.30, then a character told someone to book a table for 7 that evening and told Harper that would give her a few hours to get ready! Also a dinner with Bryan took place twice. It was really difficult to follow and a bit irritating mainly because the plot / story had the makings of a really good story. There were many aspects of the plot that weren't explained very well, almost as if the book needed to be longer, exploring the story better. It was very rushed and hurried which was a shame. It really felt like this was a rough first draft. But it clearly wasn't because I borrowed it on Kindle Unlimited.

I felt like I wanted to have a word copy and help correct and edit it, but I expect that is the English teacher in me. I'll try the next one in case it is better but after that I'll definitely give up.
