She came to Vegas to be brave. She left with $2.3 million and a price on her head.
Poppy is a kindergarten teacher from Ohio. She didn't know the poker game was rigged. Didn't know the money belonged to dangerous people. Didn't know they'd send someone to make her disappear.
Vice was supposed to handle her. One look at the gorgeous, curvy woman in his doorway—terrified, innocent, completely out of her depth—and something in him snapped.
He was sent to make her disappear.
Instead, he protected her. Hid her. Claimed her.
Now he's risking everything for a woman he just met. His position. His brothers' trust. Everything he's built.
She's not his to keep.
But Vice has never been good at following rules.

Fun
Poppy wants an adventure. A private poker game seems like just the thing until it turns into more than she bargained for. Vice is sent to clean up the mess but what he finds is a big complication. Now he has a woman he can't shake and a problem that still needs solving.
This was a fun novella. Poppy was lively and entertaining. She brought grumpy Vice out of his shell. I enjoyed reading this addition to the series and look forward to the next one.

Vice was sent to take care of a problem….little did he know he would fall for the kindergarten teacher. Poppy went on an unexpected solo vacation and won big…but the money wasn’t really hers. Instead a motorcycle club member came knocking on her door…and changed her life. This was a quick read with a perfectly intense story. These two belonged together and told a great story.

Awesome Fun
A kindergarten teacher goes into a poker game and wins the mobsmoney. They have no clue how it happened but they want their money back. He’s sent to take care of the problem and he does it his way because she’s his. Great story, fascinating people and an ending That had me smiling.

Great laugh
I enjoyed this one.
Poppy's situation in being completely underestimated for being a female but being able to use her smarts and completely show the mob guys really who is boss.
A good journey. We don't learn much about Vice (I think he is vice president but that's not why he has his name).
A similar track and some same wording as the other books.

Vice’s story
I’m enjoying this series. I love the characters. I already know 4 stories won’t be enough. My only complaint is that there is no carry over of Saint’s girl to the Vice’s story and to have some interaction between the women.
