He didn’t just want to break me. He wanted to make me a monster just like him.Silas Thorne is the Prince of Seattle. A billionaire, a predator, and the son of the devil himself. He moves through the city like a storm—destroying companies, ruining lives, and taking whatever he craves.
And he craves me.
I was supposed to be invisible. A scholarship student with a debt to pay and a dying mother to save. I thought I could survive by keeping my head down.
I was wrong.
Silas didn’t just see me; he hunted me. He trapped me in a gilded cage of obsession and violence, stripping away my defenses layer by layer. He told me I was weak. He told me I belonged to him.
But he made a mistake.
He thought he was breaking a porcelain doll. instead, he was sharpening a blade.
Now, we are locked in a war that has burned down the city around us. I should hate him. I should run. But in the darkness of his world, I found the one thing I never
Power.
The King is dead. Long live the Monsters.
Hollow Gods is a pitch-black romance featuring a villain who gets the girl (and corrupts her). It contains graphic violence, intense obsession, and moral ambiguity. If you prefer your heroes with a conscience, turn back now. This story is not for the faint of heart.
I knew from chapter 3 that this was going to be a binge read. So good! FMC and MMC are perfect. Sometimes FMCs can be really annoying, but not with Lyra.
This was a write of Ruthless God or vice versa? It is longer though. Liked this one better since the storyline flowed more and the heroine ended up as a fighter. The storyline with the father was more realistic instead of the other book. The only thing I didn't care for was the ex being mentioned or told. The ending made sense and I like it better. Hot and steamy. Will read more on this author.
