Mate Match #5

Second Chance for the Wolf

Rate this book
Mira
Five years ago, I ran from my bonding ceremony—and from the only man I've ever loved. I had my reasons, but Devon doesn't know them. Now I'm back with dangerous intel about traitors inside his pack, and the only way anyone will believe me is if he publicly takes me back. A fake engagement. That's all this is. But the moment he touches me, I remember exactly why I never stopped dreaming about him. He's furious. He's cold. And he's still mine—if I can earn back the trust I shattered when I disappeared.

Devon
She left me without a word. For five years, I've buried myself in pack duty, built walls no one could scale, and told myself I'd moved on. Then Mira walks back into my territory with secrets that could save us all—and a proposal I can't refuse. Fake engagement. Fake forgiveness. Simple. Except my wolf has never stopped howling for her, and every touch reminds me why I waited. She broke me once. I should protect my pack and keep my distance. Instead, I'm falling all over again—and this time, if she runs, I don't think I'll survive it.

Will the bond they share be enough to heal five years of silence? Or will the secrets between them tear the pack apart before love gets a second chance?

Join Devon and Mira in this steamy Valentine's short story as they discover that some bonds can't be broken—and that coming home means fighting for what you never should have left behind!

Devon is asked to meet with his former love who disappeared five years ago

Mira has returned to make things right and try to stop the Rising Flame corruption. She isn't accepted at first but Devon gives her the standing to be heard in pack meetings. Lots of drama and healing moments. Great love triumph story but the other show is waiting to drop.
