2.5✨ *NETGALLEY ARC*

The FMC felt a bit too immature for my personal taste, and at first the connection between the characters came across a little forced. Around the 30% mark, though, the chemistry started to build more naturally and the story became easier to settle into.

The MMC’s cockiness didn’t really work for me either. I think the delivery was meant to come across as confident and charming, but it just didn’t quite hit the mark personally.

Overall, the plot was decent, but the chemistry wasn’t fully there for me and I found myself wanting a little more emotional depth and character development. That said, I’m still interested enough in the world that I’ll probably pick up Ivan’s story when it comes out.

WHAT WAS THIS 😭

This book and I were simply not on the same wavelength at ALL 😭 I went in so ready for a messy, tension-filled cowboy romance with emotional depth and slow-burn yearning, but instead it felt like the characters were operating entirely on hormones within five seconds of meeting each other. Like…their first conversation barely happens and suddenly she’s already trying to kiss him??? And he’s immediately all possessive and jealous less than a DAY in??? I genuinely could not connect to it because everything felt so weirdly accelerated in a way that made the romance feel less intense and more…middle school crush energy with cowboy hats. 😬😭

And maybe insta-attraction can work for some people, but here it just came across SO over the top that I kept getting pulled out of the story. These are grown adults in their mid-to-late twenties acting like they’ve never seen another attractive person before 😭 every accidental touch was treated like a life altering erotic awakening???? At one point I genuinely had to stop and stare at the page because WHAT was this description:
“Her body was blooming, ripening under the heat of his gaze like a hot house flower, her roots nurtured by the deluge of desire that turned his eyes to liquid amber."

like what in the actual... I’m sorry but I literally could not take this seriously 😭 I was laughing. It felt like I accidentally opened a Wattpad draft from 2014 and suddenly everyone’s bodies are “ripening” every three pages. The sexual tension wasn’t even tension to me because they were both so immediately consumed by lust that there was nowhere for the relationship to build. It was just constant “I need him carnally” thoughts over and over again. 🥲🥲

And the purity ring storyline??? I don’t even know why that was thrown in there??? Idk how to explain why it felt off to me, but it did. The book wanted to frame it as a somewhat meaningful part of her identity while simultaneously having her internally spiraling and lusting over Clay the second he looked in her direction, and the contrast just felt awkward rather than emotionally layered.

Also there were moments where I THINK the story wanted to explore grief, repression, identity, and breaking free from expectations, especially with the loss of her sister, but it all felt so glossed over that none of it landed with the emotional weight it needed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Which sucks because there actually were glimpses of something better underneath all of this. Toward the end, the story became slightly more grounded emotionally and I could finally see the shape of the deeper romance it could’ve been. But by then I was already too disconnected. 🥲🤚🏼 I also think the dual POV being in third person made it worse for me personally because it kept me at arm’s length from both characters instead of making me feel immersed in their emotions. 🤷🏼‍♀️

And the thing is…this is extra disappointing because I’ve actually liked other books by this author before 😭 which made this one feel even more frustrating because I KNOW she can write chemistry and emotional payoff well. But this one just felt like all heat, no substance. By the end I was still sitting there wondering where the actual plot went besides Stevie wanting Clay to absolutely ruin and devour her in every available location in Wyoming.

Overall, this just felt like a romance that kept telling me the connection was intense instead of actually making me feel it. I wanted emotional buildup, tension, and depth beneath all the attraction, but it mostly just felt like nonstop lust with very little substance holding it together 😭

Stevie, a rising country star, is sent to a ranch by her label to master horseback riding for an upcoming music video. Her instructor? Clay, a former professional cowboy. In the isolation of the ranch, their mutual attraction sparks instantly, turning a simple lesson into a passionate summer fling.

2.75⭐️/5 — 3.5🌶️/5

🐴 Cowboy x City girl
⚡️ Forced proximity
🤫 She’s a curious virgin
⏳ Temporary fling
❤️‍🔥 Fast burn

After reading an incredible cowboy romance a few months ago that was a total favorite, I was so excited to dive back into the genre. Unfortunately, my feelings on this one are very mixed. To be honest, I knew I might struggle from chapter one; as I wrote in my notes: "Okay, Clay is clearly super horny from the first chapter, I don't know if I'm going to like this." I was right, we are miles away from a slow burn here. The physical desire is so immediate that it felt a bit like watching two teenagers discovering sexuality for the first time, which isn't really my vibe. While the final quarter of the book offered some unexpected emotional depth, it arrived a bit too late to fully save the experience for me, and I found myself skimming toward the end.

⚠️ Spoilers ahead

The Universe & Worldbuilding

The story takes place in a classic ranch setting, serving as the perfect backdrop for a "fish out of water" story. Stevie is a city girl and a country singer who has never touched a horse, while Clay represents the rugged, professional cowboy life. The ranch acts as a bubble of forced proximity where the outside world (labels, tours, and fame) feels far away, allowing the focus to stay entirely on their lessons and their growing heat.

Characters

Stevie (FMC)
: She’s talented and driven, but also quite sheltered. I have to admit, when I found out she was a virgin, I was disappointed because I usually hate that trope. However, I have to give credit where it's due: the author handled it well, and I appreciated how her character used this journey to find herself.

Clay (MMC): While he is definitely "horny" from the start, he was actually perfect with Stevie. He was patient and respectful during her "first times," and I liked seeing his more vulnerable side when he finally opened up about the end of his professional career.

Romance

This is a pure fast burn. The attraction is instantaneous and very physical. As I mentioned, it felt a bit "smut without plot" for a large portion of the book. While they eventually shared a deep emotional connection, it felt like they spent most of the time acting on hormones rather than building a slow-burning tension. It lacked the emotional buildup I usually look for in a romance, though the chemistry was undeniably high.

I wish the emotional depth had been introduced much earlier! The last 25% of the book, where Stevie deals with the grief of losing her sister and Clay mourns his career, was actually the most interesting part. If that had been woven into the story from the beginning instead of being backloaded, I think I would have stayed much more invested in their relationship.

Recap & Recommendations

What I liked:

-Clay’s respectful and perfect behavior during the "virgin trope" scenes.
-The emotional vulnerability regarding grief and career loss at the end.
-The country music x ranch atmosphere.

What I liked less:

-The "fast burn" was way too fast for my taste; it felt a bit juvenile at times.
-The feeling that the plot was secondary to the smut for 75% of the book.
-Skimming the end because I had lost interest in the middle.

I recommend this book if: You love high-spice cowboy romances, "fast burn" dynamics, and don't mind the "virgin FMC" trope when it's handled with care.

I do not recommend this book if: You live for the "slow burn" tension, need a plot-heavy romance, or dislike when a story feels a bit "horny" right from the first page.

This is an ARC review. I want to thank Amy Andrews and Boldwood Books for allowing me the chance to read this book ahead of release day!

This is a for sure insta lust at first sight type book! If this is not your jam…you’ve been warned. this happens within the first 5% of the book. (Not sex just lusting) While it’s not my go to trope since it’s less realistic. However, I liked the overall premise of the book as I am a sucker for a cowboy romance!

This dude ranch in Redemption Valley called Redemption Valley Ranch sounds like a dream getaway. Could I deal with the population of 3,000 being less than my high school population I don’t think so but I’d love it for an extended getaway.

Clay Calhoun is an ex bronco rider who is finding his calm and peace on his family’s ranch. Clay is a pro at taking what he wants in life by the reigns. Watching his grumpy exterior shatter from Stevie’s sunshine is such a sight to witness. He has a great support system where no matter what mood he is in he’s always loved.

Stephanie Everhart aka Stevie is a 22 year old Grammy award winning singer/song writer who is coming into her own one decision at a time. with the passing of her sister Yolly, she’s had the burden of carrying on Yolly’s dream of being a popular country singer. Stevie’s mom puts too much pressure on her. She doesn’t want to disappoint her so much she hides how she really feels. Her mom might be her manager but she forgot for a bit she was a mom first and foremost.

While these were insta lust at first sight Clay is so patient with his Stevie Girl! He goes at her pace and teachers her just exactly what it looks like to take what she wants. They might not initially “belonged” in each others worlds but they quickly realize they might be the one for each other. Nothing is more motivating to do and be better than someone unapologetically in your corner.

Small town Wyoming might be the next move. Maybe not THIS small but still. Any girl would be super lucky to find a hot cowboy who is possessive and obsessive over you! oh let’s not forget willing to teach her all the important things in life.

While I have read other books I have loved more by Amy Andrews, I am still invested in this town. Being the first book in the series, it’s a decent start but the writing overall left more to be desired. I think the purity ring situation threw me off. It made more sense as I read on but based on how sexual in nature the book started it did not compute in might head.

Don’t get me started on some of the vocabulary in such a cozy cowboy read. Such as: cantankerous, castigation, undulating, smorgasbord, subterfuge, and fledgling. I am all for not repeating the same words we read in every other book but they just stood out BIG TIME.

Oh, but remember: Smile. Be nice.

I really wanted to love this, especially with how strong the cowboy romance wave is right now and how many incredible books are coming out of it. The cover alone is gorgeous, and I had some high hopes, especially because if you enjoy authors like Lyla Sage, Bailey Hannah, or Paisley Hope, you’ll immediately see the kind of vibe this is trying to hit.

Unfortunately… this is NOT it.

It felt like it was trying to ride the popularity of the genre without really nailing what makes those stories work in the first place: emotional depth, believable chemistry, and a grounded sense of place. And because of that, it ended up falling way below what I expect from a cowboy romance in this current era. My expectations are high, yes, but they’re high because the bar has been raised.

Stevie, the FMC, really didn’t work for me. She came across incredibly immature for her supposed life stage, almost reading more like a teenager than a grown woman navigating fame and career pressure. The virginity/purity angle didn’t help either because it leaned into a very outdated, almost purity culture adjacent framing that just felt cringey and out of step with how these stories are usually handled now. It pulled me out of the romance instead of grounding me in it.

And Clay… I don’t even know where to start. He was frustrating in a very one note way. It felt like his entire personality was reduced to lust and sexual tension, and while chemistry is important in romance, this was so heavily skewed toward instalust that it completely erased any real romantic development for me. I never fully bought them as a couple and they honestly would have made more sense as a casual hookup situation than a love story.

There was also a lack of depth when it came to the ranch/rodeo setting itself. With cowboy romances, I expect at least some sense that the author has really grounded the story in that world, whether through detail, atmosphere, or authenticity. Here, it felt surface level, like the aesthetic was there but not the substance behind it.

I feel like this one just missed the mark for me. I can see what it wanted to be but the execution was absolutely not there.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the author, the publisher and netgalley for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to arc read this book. I truly appreciate it!

My gosh was this book amazing! Definitely a cowboy romance through and through! Amy Andrews always has the fantastic ability to make you feel like she has transported you somewhere new, and she doesn't let you down here at all! You definitely feel as though you've been transported to a ranch in Wyoming. You're going to feel as though you're right there on the trail rides, the cookouts and right there witnessing the breathtaking scenery that will unfold before your eyes in your mind and my gosh for that all alone is it worth the read!

But Clay and Stevie! Ooh watching them fall in love was just breathtaking! Clay going from a fallen playboy rodeo star to the man of all of your spiciest dreams and Stephanie going from heartbroken country music queen to Stevie, the woman's she's always dreamed of being! Their growth, and their support for each other and their chemistry are everything! You're going to fall so hard for the both of them. Add in the fun and extra love from Clays parents, sister and friends and you'll have discovered a family for yourself that you never knew you couldn't live without!

This was like if you mixed Nicholas Sparks 'The Longest Ride' and 'The Notebook' together, removed the truly heartbreaking moments and drama, and added in utter realness and so much wonderful spice!

If you're looking for something like that you're going to love this, if you're looking for your next great cowboy romance or romance in general you will absolutely love this. But if you're looking to immerse yourself in an all-around fantastic new book, you need this in your life and you won't regret a minute of it!

Thank you so very much again to the author, the publisher and netgalley for allowing me the absolute privilege of being able to arc read this incredible book! I truly appreciate it and I absolutely love it!

Wild and Wanted by Amy Andrews is a wonderfully addictive cowboy romance that delivers the perfect blend of chemistry, emotion, humour, and heart. From the very first chapters, this book completely swept me away with its big Wyoming skies, sizzling slow-burn tension, and two characters who could not have been more different — yet somehow fit together perfectly.

Clay Calhoun is exactly the kind of gruff, wounded cowboy romance readers fall hard for. Beneath his rough exterior and frustratingly stubborn attitude is a man carrying disappointment, regret, and emotional scars from a life that didn’t go the way he planned. Watching his walls slowly crack throughout the story was incredibly satisfying.

Stevie Everhart brought such a fun energy to the book. At first glance she appears polished, privileged, and completely out of place on a ranch, but there’s far more depth to her character than expected. I loved seeing her grow in confidence as she stepped outside of the carefully controlled image created by her career and family. Her chemistry with Clay was electric from the start, filled with tension, banter, vulnerability, and a slow-building attraction that felt authentic and believable.

Amy Andrews balances romance and humour effortlessly while still delivering emotional depth. The ranch setting was immersive and atmospheric, making it easy to picture the horses, dirt roads, rodeos, and quiet moments beneath the stars. The grumpy sunshine dynamic worked perfectly here, and the spicy slow burn had just the right amount of tension without overpowering the emotional connection developing between the characters.

Overall, Wild and Wanted is a charming, heartfelt, and seriously swoon-worthy cowboy romance packed with chemistry, emotional healing, and plenty of heat. Fans of opposites-attract romances and rugged cowboy heroes are going to absolutely love this one. Amy Andrews once again proves why she’s such a standout romance author.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Wild and Wanted by Amy Andrews in return for an honest review.

Wild And Wanted follows grumpy Clay, back living and working at his parents ranch following a career ending accident, and superstar Stevie, grieving the loss of her sister and staying at Clay's ranch to hone her cowgirl skills for her upcoming music video.

What follows is an inst love type romance, that hits in places, but unfortunately also missed in places.

For me, i found the writing quite odd sometimes, with strange words being used as descriptors...it felt as though maybe the author was trying to use different words as a way of differentiating between potential similarities in the genre of the book but I found it quite jarring.

I also struggled with the FMCs virginity trope. It isnt my favourite trope, however I found the author wrote the element of building up to the first time sex very well. What I struggled with was the general trope itself; being so married to an idea of having someone special be your first, to knowing it was the cowboy being bucked on a horse the first time you lay eyes on him? Along with the confidence and desire in mere days of knowing him. It just felt fake and rushed.

That all being said, I really enjoyed the characters and the introductions of the side characters who will have their own storyline in time (I assume).

I found Clay likeable and relatable and it was nice to see a caring side to him. Stevie wasnt a whiny up yourself kinda gal, she was introverted and quiet and I really enjoyed her character and watching her come out of her shell.

I would be tempted by Book 2 in the future for sure! Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for this opportunity.

I'm loving all the cowboy romance novels that are around at the moment and the author, Amy Andrews wrote this one really well. From the very first page I was hooked and I kept reading until the end as I wanted to know what happened between Stevie and Clay. I loved the small town place setting in the story and there was also a great cast of background characters too. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more by the author.

Wild and Wanted by Amy Andrews was an enjoyable romance with plenty of chemistry, emotional moments, and a small-town atmosphere that made for an easy read overall.

I really liked the premise and there were definitely moments where the connection between the characters shined. The banter was fun, the romance had some steamy scenes, and the emotional vulnerability from both characters added depth to the story. Amy Andrews has a writing style that flows well and keeps the pages turning.

That being said, I did struggle to fully connect with the story at times. While the chemistry was there, I felt like some parts of the relationship development moved a little too quickly for me, which made it harder to become fully emotionally invested in the couple. There were also moments where the pacing felt uneven, especially in the middle of the book.

Despite that, I still enjoyed parts of the story and think readers who enjoy small-town contemporary romance with spice and emotional tension may still have a good time with this one.

Overall, I’d give Wild and Wanted 3 stars — an entertaining romance with strong chemistry and emotional moments, even if it didn’t completely work for me personally.

Amy Andrews really understood the assignment with Wild and Wanted. This book is basically what happens when you throw a grumpy, washed-up rodeo cowboy and a polished country music star onto a Wyoming ranch and let the tension simmer until it combusts.

Clay Calhoun is PEAK “acts annoyed but is secretly obsessed” energy. He’s rough around the edges, emotionally guarded, and fully convinced he doesn’t need anyone… which obviously makes watching him fall for Stevie even better. And Stevie surprised me in the best way — underneath the celebrity image she’s funny, determined, vulnerable, and willing to get a little dirt on her boots to figure out who she really is.

The chemistry between them was so good. The slow burn actually burns, and every riding lesson, argument, and lingering look had ridiculous amounts of tension. Amy Andrews balances the spice with emotional depth really well, so the romance feels earned instead of rushed.

The ranch setting added so much atmosphere too. It has that classic escapist cowboy romance vibe while still giving both characters real emotional arcs and growth.

If you love:
✨ grumpy/sunshine
✨ cowboy x country singer
✨ opposites attract
✨ spicy slow burn
✨ emotionally unavailable men who fall hardest

…then this is absolutely one to pick up.

✨ARC Review✨
Wild and Wanted
By: Amy Andrews

Clay Calhoun didn’t look like the kind of man a girl chose to gently initiate her into the joy of making love. No. He looked like the kind of man a girl picked when she wanted to know all the carnal ways of the flesh.

‘You want me to kiss you, Stevie girl? For research purposes? For the song?’
‘No.’
‘No?’
‘want you to kiss me because I think I might die if you don’t.’

‘You’re the woman I haven’t been able to stop thinking about since I first saw you.’

I went into Stevie and Clay’s story completely blind and man I was in for a treat! We have Clay the sexy cowboy working on his family ranch and Stevie, the city girl musician. Trying to learn how to ride a horse for her mucus video. But that’s not the only thing Stevie wants to learn, or ride. Clay teaches Stevie some spicy lessons and in the process these two fall in love. That love and encouragement is the strength that Stevie was looking for.

Thank you so much Amy for the chance to ARC read!

Amy Andrews does it again! I’m yet to read a book by her that I haven’t enjoyed. As someone who doesn’t usually gravitate towards insta-love romances, I thoroughly enjoyed Wild & Wanted. It was fast-paced, easy to read, and the connection between the main characters actually felt genuine even if a little rushed.

If you’re a fan of Lyla Sage and Elsie Silver, then I definitely think you’ll enjoy this one. It’s the perfect palate cleanser after finishing something heavy - light-hearted and fun, but still with enough substance to keep you invested.

As a huge country music fan, a lot of this book felt very relatable to me. Some of the quotes were a little cringey at times but honestly I didn’t mind. If anything, it made the FMC feel more believable and highlighted her inexperience. It would’ve been odd if she had no experience but spoke like a pro.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, Bookwood Books and Amy Andrews for the ARC of this book. I’m so excited that this is going to be part of a series and I already can’t wait to read book two!

I received this book as an arc on NetGalley. I want to thank Amy Andrews for allowing me the chance to read it.

I think based on the cover and description I got the wrong idea of what this book is. I think based on the authors it compared to I felt like there would be more depth to the story. While we were less than 5% in and already Lusting for each other. However the real connection felt very forced. I had a hard time getting into the characters.

As a person who has grown up in the rodeo world there were some horse/rodeo related things that needed some work/research.

The writing style wasn’t for me. I’m not a huge fan of dual POV written in third person it’s hard to find a voice. And I felt like I had to look up a lot of words as the author used a very advanced vocabulary

Overall I do feel like if insta lust is your thing you could enjoy it. There is a decent plot underneath

Wild and Wanted was such a fun surprise for me. This is definitely an instant-lust, very spicy cowboy romance, and it absolutely delivers on the chemistry and tension from the very beginning.

Even though this is totally different from what I usually read, I ended up really enjoying it. The romance was fast-paced, the spice level was high, and the cowboy setting added such a fun vibe to the story. Sometimes you just want a book that fully leans into the romance and attraction, and this one did exactly that.

If you enjoy steamy cowboy romances with intense chemistry and lots of spice, this is definitely worth picking up.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Boldwood Books via Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A composer and singer and an experienced, battered cowboy share an explosive relationship in “Wild and Wanted”, by Amy Andrews, a story about embarking in a very special learning project.
I liked the leads, Clay and Stephanie, the honesty, openess and passion between them. They’re both down-to-earth individuals.
Clay is the quintessencial alpha; Stephanie is the avid pupil, eager to learn.
Even if the “pedagogic sessions” are tempered with emotions, unexpected feelings, tenderness and mutual trust and confessions, I felt there was too much sex.
The discovering and exploring is done freely punctuated with Amy Andrews’ often raunchy humor.
I liked watching the creative process in music with the heroine; I also liked the setting and the secondary characters.
For Stephanie it's also a healing journey.
I thought Clay’s strength and general excellent physical condition contradicted somehow what had happenned to him before.

I'm going to be honest... this was terrible. From the very beginning, it was cringy and misogynistic. Right off the bat, comparing women to horses and how they need to be tamed? Hard no. Judging the female main character for her purity ring, and not minding having sex with any other woman but not wanting the responsibility of being the first... gross. The female main character was also not great, but to me Clay was much worse.

Also, the insta-lust was way over the top. It felt like this was written by AI or maybe didn't have an editor. But it was cringey and embarrassing, and I am not interested in reading anything else in the series... and I've read some pretty awful things.

Thank you to NetGalley for the eARC.

Steamy, sweet and romantic!

Don’t be put off by the low-rated reviews, if you love insta-attraction, cowboy/singer, experienced/inexperienced, ranch based romances, that doesn’t take itself too seriously, you’ll enjoy this.

It’s a classic story of a man showing a woman how she should be loved.

I loved…
Clay, he’s a sweet, filthy cowboy who falls first, and he falls hard
The side characters were great, the parents, the ranch hands - perfection
Stevie, when she was Stevie and not Stephanie…iykyk
That the ending was a compromise, Clay didn’t give up his dreams, and neither did Stevie, they adjusted and brought their worlds together.

I disliked…
Stevie’s mother

3 ☆ - thank you netgalley and boldwood for the opportunity to read this as an arc! i enjoyed this book but there were just a few reasons it wasn't my favorite. it felt kind of insta love/lust to me as he was lusting for her within the first couples chapters. this had some sort of spice in almost every chapter which was a lot for me. i also didn't love how much her being a virgin was a part of it. i understand that its a trope but maybe it isn't my favorite trope. i loved the city/singer girl x cowboy part of it! overall i did really enjoy it it just wasn't my favorite. i did also really enjoy how the book ended.

🤠⭐️ 3 stars ⭐️🤠

Wanted & Wild by Amy Andrews was exactly what I expected from a cowboy romance. Rugged cowboy vibes, chemistry, banter, and a fun western atmosphere. 🌵✨

This was an easy, enjoyable read that delivered all the classic romance elements you want going into this type of story. The cowboy charm was definitely there, and I liked the playful tension between the characters.

While it didn’t completely blow me away or feel especially unique, it was still a solid romance that kept me entertained the whole way through. Sometimes you just want a dependable cowboy romance, and this definitely fits that vibe. 🖤

Thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood books for the ARC

Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for providing the E-ARC for review and consideration.

Insta-attraction or insta-lust can be an interest concept, it was in the first 2 chapters of this book but it was cliché. There is a lack of chemistry and sometimes it is obviously forced. I honestly had high hopes for this one though but there was nothing unique and interesting enough for me that stood out.

This premise was really fun, and I love a Grumpy/Sunshine story! Stevie and Clay are into each other pretty quickly! I did feel like this book hit the ground running with the romance, it starts really fast in the story. I was expecting it to speed up midway through, but the spice was definitely earlier in their "relationship" than I was expecting. Overall I thought it was a cute story of country musician Stevie and Cowboy Clay!

This book had potential. I thought it was cute but seemed pretty juvenile to me. It seemed like a high school crush trope and not about 2 people in their twenties. The purity ring thing was just off to me. The blurb about being a book to read if you are a fan of Elsie Silver, Jessica Peterson or Lyla Sage is pretty misleading in my opinion.

This book wheres written exemplary, was not for me.
I love a western romance with all the big banter and the vibes, like Elsie Silver and Lyla Sage.
Unfortunately, this didn't give me all the vibes or the feels.
I missed the banter and the big fun with laugh out loud moments, angst moments and deep emotions.
I do like her books ordinarily, however I couldn't get into this

DNF - so sorry I never dnf 😳
I just couldn't connect with these characters and the insta lust at all. This is not similar to Lyla Sage (front cover was suspiciously similar..) or Elsie Silver imo.
The writing seemed quite immature and made me think the characters were younger than they were.
Just not for me I am afraid 😕

DNF @ 52%

I've read some of Amy Andrews's books that I've really enjoyed, but this was not one of them. I was not a fan of the purity ring/virginity stuff at all. There was also a comment about Clay being buzzed while driving which...no. And, as a Wyomingite, the setting did not ring true. The last 2 Amy Andrews books I've read have been duds, so I am not sure if I will try anymore.

DNF at 25%. The premise had me ready for cowboy chaos, but the immaturity, insta‑love, and zero chemistry had me tapping out faster than a bronc rider on a bad day.
