I love Dreu real bad 😂😂😂
Dreu was funny asf! I like him when we were first introduced to him in his brother’s book but really fell in love with him reading his story!!
He loved his “Pancakes” & was determined to do whatever it took to win her back!! I loved the way he made her feel good about herself & her insecurities! He loved everything about her & built up her confidence to love herself the same way!
I like how this book touched on depression, grief & anxiety. I also loved how Dreu wasn’t afraid to show his emotions toward the woman he loved! You don’t see an MMC too often that isn’t to hard or tough to express himself & his feelings! This was such a good read!

I loved Dreu so much! He was so funny and so in tune with his emotions. Tavia wasn’t the typical baddie . I loved the representation of a bbw with no ass lol . She was just a regular girl with a regular shape and he didn’t give a damn! That was his pancakes! She matched his fly and personality . The way he poured into her and uplifted her every chance he got i just loved this book!

I loved this book! First of all I love for a hilarious main character and Dreu was a fool okay😂 I also love when there’s accountability. Dreu recognized where he went wrong the first time around with Jatavia, acknowledged it, and WORKED to prove this time around would be different.
Now let’s get into the love story of it all! Whew, Authoress Masterpiece, this is how you write a love story. There was honest and open communication without judgement, yearning and emotional support. What stood out to me the most is how both Dreu and Jatavia uplifted each other, especially when there was negative self-talk, and pushed each other to strive for greatness and fulfill their dreams.
The one downfall and one reason it wasn’t a 5 star is because of the grammatical errors. It didn’t take away from the storyline, but was enough to be noticeable. Overall, this was a GREAT story!

Dreu and Tavia were a cute couple. I love how Dreu did what he needed to do to get his woman back. He learned his lesson and grew from it.
Tavia was an amazing woman. There are not a lot of women who would have taken him back. She found something in her heart to forgive but stand on business for herself.
I did feel sorry for Bleu and Dreu finding out about their parents. it can be hard to learn that someone within the relationship doesn't know how to not take it overboard. I believe their parents loved each other but because they have invited extra people in their lives it cause so many problems.

Love Second chance
While reading Bleu I was interested in seeing what Dreu had going on with his music career. This story had me hollering every time someone else or himself had something negative to say about his rapping. I loved how Tavia was such a positive person for him and always affirmed him although she had her own battles. I really enjoyed seeing they were able to rekindle their friendship and relationship; Tavia didnt have any business with Devin punk self anyway! This story was very romantic and funny because Dreu was such an emotional man but no one faulted him for it, i love how Bleu was always his shoulder to cry on like a big brother should be!

Second chances can be good.
First off, I gotta say the author did an amazing job with this book, the characters, and the storyline. Seriously fabulous. I absolutely adore this book. Dreu is quite a character, I really enjoyed him. I couldn't help but laugh out loud; I truly had a blast reading this. Then there's Jatavia, a.k.a. Pancake. I'd describe her as a sweet person just trying to survive and keep her head above water. Their love story and reconnection is wonderful. You can tell they love each other a lot. I'd totally recommend reading this book. It was my pleasure reading your books 🥰.

Dreu is a real sweetheart
Dreu clowned, but he was so loving. I’m so glad he got his Pancakes back! It’s crazy that she was dating Devin, he wasn’t helping her financially, but wanted to use her for the concert because he didn’t want to go solo. She went to see Big D not knowing it was Dreu. Dreu let Devin know what it is. Came and got his woman and ain’t let her go! They were perfect for each other. She fits in perfectly with Bleu and Truly! Wish I could give this book more stars! Loved this read Masterpiece!

This was such a cute read
Dreu and Tavia, were 3 cute with they goofy asses. They were everything for each other. Loved how Dreu took accountability for his shortcomings and came in hot to get his pancake back. Dreu was goofy and random as shit but I loved that about him, he did speak affirmation over tavia and she instilled the same in him. Dreu parents were...something, specially his moms, def wanted to slap the taste out her mouth for her smart as comments, old and new. But Dreu and Bleu were a fun time for sure

Oh, what a cute story! Dreu loved him some of his Pancakes aka Jatavia. These Langston brothers know how to love a woman. Jatavia wasn’t gonna spin da block with Dreu after he hurt her the first time, but Big D grew up and came back strong! If you’re looking for a book, that is a great pallet cleanser and will get you out of a book slump this is it. I’m not gonna ruin it for everyone. Let’s just say it is wonderful to spend the luck. It’s been it well. This author never misses read this book.

If a man ain’t trying to come in your life and clear your plate then what is he there for?? Everyone deserves a soft or softer life because indeed women can do it for themselves too but it feels even better when you have a partner wanting to elevate you even higher. This storyline was chefs kiss.

I think I enjoyed the development of Dreu and Jatavia even more than Bleu's story. Batavia walking away all those years ago showed strength. Now a second for a HEA appeared and I appreciated here not immediately jumping right back in. Dreu definitely wears his heart on his sleeve and it was nice to see from a MMC. despite his brash attitude towards others, he was soft in his approach with Pancakes. A true provider he poured into her and she definitely understood how to support him as well.

3.5 stars. Cute, funny, quick read. I’m glad it was just 200 pages. Anything more would have been a drag. Especially since the author didn’t really go into detail about MMC’s parent’s situation. While the book was funny, I think the whole “you smell” jokes were a bit much. There was just too many of the same joke and it became not funny. I wish there a little bit more to the plot. But overall it was a good book. I recommend.

I loved how he expressed himself to her and applied pressure to prove himself to her and show her how he truly felt and how he was coming for her.
The prank with Tammy was so funny and the ending had me so emotional I was shaking and crying at the same time.

Dreu was such a fun time! I loved everything about his energy. He wasn’t afraid to show his emotions, he knew exactly where he messed up, and he was ready to fix it. This second-chance romance really worked because both Jativia and Dreu were willing to do the work on themselves and intentionally build something together.
I loved Dreu and his rapping. This was a standalone but you should read Bleu first, both of the books were really good.

Dreu was rude with no filter but he definitely didn’t play about his “Pancakes”. I appreciated how he didn’t just tell Jatavia that he was a changed man but tried to show it with his actions. I also liked the way they loved and supported each other. Him with encouraging her to handle her mental health and her speaking life into him when he was discouraged about his career and his parents. Overall this was just an ok read to me though.

This was good! I usually don’t do second chance romances, but I enjoyed Bleu and usually enjoy Masterpiece’s books so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. I loved that Dreu took accountability for his mistakes with Jatavia. His actions definitely showed that he was ready to give his all and be then man she needed. Dreu was very blunt and so funny but him and Jatavia meshed really well. They poured into each other and built each other up ❤️

This book was everything I needed and then some. A love story that got straight to the point with no miscommunication. Dreu was clear on his intentions and didn’t waver and the end result was him getting his girl back. The relationship between Bleu and Dreu is so heartwarming seeing him go to Bleu for guidance was sweet. This was a feel good story and I loved every minute of it!!!!

This is a second chance romance. Dreu was introduced in Bleu book. I thought he was funny and his story with his pancake would be interesting. I was really hoping that the author would tap into Dreu and his parent dynamics and how that affected him emotionally before jumping into trying to get Jatavia back. Im glad Jatavia gave Dreu the peace he needed. Even though he messed up he deserved a second chance.

Im so glad Drue realized his past mistakes with the love of his life and won her trust and love back. I still can't believe that Devin didn't get offended or hurt by catching Drue in bed with Jatavia! He just fanned out and took a picture with Drue and rolled out! He was so pathetic! Glad Drue and Latavia found each other again! Love always prevails!

Second Chance for the win

This was a good spicy second chance. I did want Tavia to push back more in the beginning and make Dreu grovel more. The spiceeee was so good and done well. The pace of the story was quick and gave novella vibes. Overall I’m not mad at this and would recommend! 💖

This book was really good. Funny - with a great storyline. Second chance love and honestly, better than Bleu for me. The parent issue was disappointing, while serious - not really? I guess their relationship tainted me from Bleu so I felt like the conclusion was expected. This was a good, romantic read. Really enjoyed it!
