Rating 3.5⭐️ This was a short, cute and satisfying read. Naomi was just trying to breathe again after surviving real trauma and Damon was absolutely unhinged with his harassment. Malik was a whole knight in firefighter gear. Protective without being overbearing, intentional with both Naomi and his son and solid from start to finish. I loved the small town brotherhood feel and how quickly things moved without feeling rushed. Definitely a good start to the series and an easy binge read.

This read was getting good until it just ended. WOW. Ok. Looking forward to the next part of this series. I’d love to get to know what’s really going on with her and can he really protect her from that phycho. Off to the next part of this read. It’s interesting

This was a good, quick read. I loved both Naomi and Malik. They were perfect for each other. I liked how once they met and he helped her, it was immediately moving like a couple. The threat from her ex added just enough thrill to the book. This took no time to read, and I will continue on in the series.
