“Somewhere...” is a contemporary reimagining of “The Wizard of Oz” that grounds the fairy tale in the emotional journey of a child longing for home.

Eleven-year-old Dorothy Gale runs away from her home in rural Ohio, determined to find her estranged father in Columbus. Along the way, Dorothy—and her little dog, too—befriends a selfless farmhand and a grieving father who help her summon the heart, courage, and wisdom she needs to confront the truth about her father’s absence and understand what it really means to say, “There’s no place like home.”

Angelo earned a B.F.A. in Film & Video from the Columbus College of Art & Design, where he graduated with the honors of Outstanding Senior and the Commitment to Service Award. He has served as a juror for the Central Ohio Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the Columbus International Film & Animation Festival.
