Although I understand the motivations for writing this book, I was disappointed by this author's lack of originality. This book is primarily a collection of motivational quotes by other creators, poets and authors (Einstein, Emerson, Mandino, Stevenson, etc.). The title which implies successful strategies ("a one-week game plan") for developing a more positive attitude, is merely an assemblage of insightful excerpts from well-known and some lesser-known public figures. Perhaps its most redeeming quality is that it might inspire readers who are looking to create a list of positive affirmations.

This book isn't really a plan so much as positive thoughts for the day. There is a collection of poems, thoughts, etc., for each day of the week. While I enjoyed reading them (many were very insightful and motivational), I found the title misleading.
