I'm sure I shouldn't love reverse harem stories as much as I do..... This book combined three spicy stories that prove why you absolutely SHOULD NOT have to choose!
My favorite by far was "Rockstar" - Selena, Cruz, Milo, and Channing. Selena is barely getting by with her job at the local dive bar. It just so happens to be karaoke night, and she is waiting for her date that she matched with on Bumble. Thing is, he is not the person that she thought she was meeting. He's actually Cruz, the guitarist for a famous rock band and he explains that he had to use a fake profile because of that. Selena is not impressed but decides he can stay. It's tradition that she sings on karaoke night, and this particular night changes her life! After tragically losing their lead singer, Cruz realizes that he just found what they needed to keep playing - Selena.
And of course, I love some hockey romance. In "Why Choose", Callie, a sports therapist, joins a new team and meets Jax, Luca, and Theo. Jax is sexy and flirty, Luca is Ukranian and moody, and Theo is hot and nerdy. Why choose when you can have them all??
Lastly, "Smutty Cop Romance" features Amanda - a brave and edgy journalist who is always looking for the truth and goes to whatever end to get it. She just published an article and is busy congratulating herself as she picks up takeout and a bottle of wine to celebrate when she gets home. She has just gotten into her food and a glass of wine when three huge armed men bust through her door. She soon learns that they are federal agents and they are taking her to a safe house. And yes, this has everything to do with the article she just published. And now....she's forced to live in a house with three hot federal agents for the unforeseeable future. Things definitely get spicy!
All books guarantee a HEA and I loved them all!

Forbidden Desires by Kate J. Blake is a collection of three steamy stories, each centered around different forbidden romance themes. Overall, I enjoyed the collection and found it to be a pretty good smut read if you’re looking for something quick, spicy, and entertaining.
Each story had its own dynamic and heat level, which kept things interesting. The chemistry between the characters was strong across the board, and the author clearly knows how to write tension and explicit scenes.
That said, the cop romance storyline wasn’t really for me personally. While it may appeal to readers who enjoy that trope, I had a harder time connecting with it compared to the other two stories.
I was also occasionally confused while reading, as some scenes felt a bit rushed or unclear. The book could benefit from more thorough editing, there were a few typos and small errors (for example, “mr” instead of “me”), which pulled me out of the story at times.
Despite those issues, I still found the collection enjoyable overall. If you’re in the mood for steamy, taboo-themed short stories and don’t mind a few rough edges, this is worth checking out.

I am loving this author! Just found them on Booksprout not too long ago, and I’m loving these stories! Sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and enjoy some straight up smut. And this delivered. They’ve been so much fun and so hot to read, that I read them to my husband while we’re in bed. It gives us sine pretty hot ideas for some role playing 😉 and this one really delivered on the hot guys with sine really spicy moments. I’m going to burn through every book. 🔥

Kate's books right here are HOT. The way the characters in each one of these books takes you through their story is absolutely AMAZING. These men are skillful with their hands gorgeous, powerful, confident and will have you weak in your knees reading each one of these 5/5-star books. Highly recommend this box set of must-read books by Kate.

These stories are addicting and had me all caught up in them. They had me connecting with the characters along with the drama and cheering them on. The collection is well written with enticing narratives that will have you doing a reread!.

This was SUCH a fun read. I breezed through it and I was so surprised that 3 back-to-back reverse harem tropes could keep me so engaged. The banter is brilliant and it will have you hooked.
