DeathCon: A Zombie Story by Nzondi is an exciting deadly yet action-packed thriller. It features a dystopian apocalypse type of story that keeps readers in the dark with anticipation of what will be next. Cozy is an interesting female lead. She is traveling with her friends on a cruise ship that is horror themed. Hint, hint, right?! Horror is definitely unleashed and then another bomb explodes in Cozy's life. The person she thought was dead is still alive. Complex, fun, intense these characters have to fight for their lives and risk their hearts. Nzondi is indeed a talented writer whose characterization skills are phenomenal! The action-packed scenes with suspense, danger, and deadly situations give the dark entertaining vibe that I love. Readers of sci-fi, thrillers, and romantic suspense will love this book as much as I have. Highly recommend it to all.
