Some lives are shaped by neglect. Others are rewritten by love.
Poorvi Sisodiya grows up in a palace that never truly claims her. An illegitimate princess, she learns early how to exist quietly—never asking, never expecting, never belonging. Love, for her, is something other people are allowed to have.
Vihaan Singh Shekawat is raised to command—strategist, protector, the steady hand behind a powerful royal family. He knows duty, loyalty, and control. What he doesn’t know is how to ignore the woman who sees herself as invisible… or how to stop choosing her every single day.
Their marriage is born from politics, not promises. From a deal meant to strengthen alliances—not hearts. But when Vihaan refuses to treat Poorvi like an obligation, and Poorvi slowly learns what it means to be wanted without condition, something far more dangerous than duty begins to grow.
In a world where bloodlines matter more than people, and silence has always been her armor, Poorvi must decide if she’s brave enough to claim the space Vihaan is so determined to give her.
This is not a story about a princess finding her place. This is a story about a woman learning she was never misplaced at all.
Forced Marriage Modern Royal Romance Protective, Devoted MMC Healing Through Love Family Drama
This was beautiful, but you definitely gotta suspend your disbelief because they really fell in love over nothing. MMC decides to marry FMC to save her from her horrible family. Then he spends the rest of the book showing her that she deserves to take up space and she's part of his family now, which is beautiful, butttt what was the reason. Why did he start caring for her, where did their connection come from. It was all just so sudden. I feel like this could've been an easy 4 star if the author spent more time fleshing out the characters and gave them more dialogue in the beginning.
love to read her books and this one was special as orphans left behind go through a lot of trauma. It is lucky to have someone stand beside you so strongly
