She woke up in the dirt with no memory. He’s the alpha’s son who must stay away to protect them both.
Emillie Cooper doesn’t know why the moon hums in her veins or why the town of Oak Creek treats her like a ghost. She just wants to survive her senior year, but the shadows in the woods are calling her name.
Caleb Greer knows exactly what Emillie is. His wolf recognized her the moment she returned, his fated mate, and the one person he is forbidden to touch. She is a living prophecy, a girl tied to a history of blood that could destroy his pack.
As Emillie’s memories surface, the danger grows. In Oak Creek, secrets have teeth, and the truth won't just set her free. It will change everything.
Experience the tension of a fated mate romance where the truth is a price they can’t afford to pay.

Broken was an Arc read one I enjoyed. Imagine walking around lost in the wood not knowing who you are! The sheriff takes you into his family and raises you for 2 years as one of his on. Not sure why you feel strange, different at night. It’s senior year and all you want is a good year but life has different planes for you! You meet a handsome guy that you feel connected with but he is angry and tells you to stay away. To find out what takes place in this story read Broken!
This was a fantastic coming of age paranormal romance. Emillie and Caleb's story was non-stop from beginning to end and I loved it all. From amnesia, perceived hatred, horrible father, responsibility at a too young age, to remembrance, live and a possible new way forward, I was down for it all. I loved both characters so much. I especially loved that this was a clean paranormal romance. So many of them aren't! This is a book I will definitely be rereading!
Ooo the premise drew me in! Amnesia, shifters, soul mates, secrets and prophecies! Yes, please! Emillie is having memory issues and other people seem to be keeping secrets. There’s also something about this handsome, mysterious guy at her school. Plus, Emillie is experiencing some changes in herself; some quite surprising changes. Enjoyed the read! An interesting YA read!
Emillie and Caleb’s story had the makings of a 5 ⭐️ read, but the inconsistencies in the timeline made it difficult to follow in a few places. Yes, the author removed the duplicate chapter ( according to the email sent out, I’ve not been given a copy of it at the time I’m writing this review. If I can verify that, I will edit the review to reflect it ). But the duplicate chapter wasn’t the only glaring timeline problem. It’s impossible to have the same character be in two places at once and this happened at least twice in this book. I think there may have been a rewrite situation, where the author chose to go in a different direction than they originally intended, but that’s not addressed, so that is just a guess on my part, and I need to base my review on what I actually read. I will say I enjoyed the characters themselves and feel that if the inconsistencies had been removed and the timelines worked out , this could have been a 4-5 ⭐️ read for me. As it stands I give it 3 ✨’s I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave this review.
