Bred by the Cowboys by Stephanie Brother is the second book in the Wild Rides series and what a wild ride it is indeed! I received an advanced copy of the book and I'm leaving this review voluntarily.

Sweet, dependable Janey is the best friend of Joelle who we first met in book one of the series. As her lifeline and number one supporter, it was great to see Janey get to live out her own HEA. Mason and Brookes are brothers and the cousins of Joelle's partner, Wade and Caleb and it's definitely lust at first sight when Janey meets these two cowboys. As brothers who share EVERYTHING, they pursued Janey until circumstances forced her to give the two a try. As someone who has always lived her life to please her mother, Janey faced a lot of turmoil when trying to grab her own happiness. I loved the reality hits in this book. It was raw, unapologetic and a real testament to the genuine moments that women can go through. Sometimes the road isn't easy when you find out that you're bringing a life into this world. Everyone won't always be supportive but hopefully you have someone who will be. Janey found two rugged cowboys who fell quicky in love with her. Who were ready to face every test of time with her and be the steady back bone that she needed. The emotional intelligence on these two should be studied! This book was a quick and satisfying read with high heat 🫠 and a little drama. I loved every moment of it!💜

I was supposed to save this one for my holiday.

I failed. Spectacularly.

I’d only planned to read a couple of chapters, but once I started I couldn’t put it down. Stephanie Brother has done it again.

After meeting Mason and Brookes in Shared by the Cowboys, I thought they were going to be the stereotypical cocky alpha cowboys. Instead, they completely surprised me. Yes, they’re confident, protective and incredibly swoon-worthy, but underneath all of that they’re patient, caring and unbelievably sweet.

From the moment Janey walks into their lives, they’re all in. The only problem is Janey can’t quite believe she’s allowed to have the life she secretly wants. She’s terrified of what everyone else will think, and that fear keeps her holding herself back.

Watching Mason and Brookes earn her trust instead of demanding it made me fall for them even more. They never rush her. They show her, time and time again, that she’s loved, wanted and already part of their family, with or without the baby.

It’s emotional, ridiculously hot, full of heart, and I loved seeing this unconventional family come together. If you enjoy protective cowboys, why choose romance, pregnancy tropes, found family and heroes who back up their words with actions, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Now excuse me while I impatiently wait for my next trip back to Rockwell Ridge.

Let me get this out of the way for any who are wondering....it is ooh baby hot when they first come together! I mean turn-on-the-fan-grab-a-tissue-to-wipe-your-brow hot! Now on with the important stuff!

I loved this book! The characters are fully-fleshed human beings. Janey is awesome in her fear, worry and love. I'm copying this from the book for Mason and Brookes because this description is perfect:
" Mason is firm as the land beneath our feet. He’s strength and heat and a love that makes me feel held even when he isn’t touching me. Brookes is tenderness wrapped in stubbornness. He’s laughter in dark moments, a hand reaching for mine under the table, a promise kept again and again until I finally believe it."
The story itself touched my heart. If you've ever felt like your "not enough" you will be able to relate to Janey on a deep level. I think we all wish for this kind of cowboy love and devotion. It was fun touching base with Joelle, Baby C and her men again. I love the world the inhabit.
Stephanie Brother gets better and better! I love her writing style and I love all of her books. 5 stars and 1-click for sure!

Stephanie Brother does not disappoint. If you are looking for a spicy book that throttles from the start, then this book is for you. It is an excellent segue from "Shared by the Cowboys."

I love her interconnected stories where characters from new books are introduced in previous ones, and characters from previous ones make cameos in the new ones. This definitely happened here. It makes the story feel more real and draws us in, and makes us feel like we are part of their lives.

If there is one thing I would amend, it would be the title. "Bred" is possibly the word used because, hey, cowboys, right? But it raises a lot of questions before I even get to the synopsis. Did they know her when she was younger? Were they grooming her to be her wife? Was she a breeder, like a horse?

But being familiar with Stephanie Brother and having read most of her stories, I knew to give it a chance and ... I am so glad I did!

This story, their love is so delicious! The peaks and valleys are just enough to keep me riveted to the page, and I finished the book in one sitting.

This super hot story about Janey whom we have previously met in Shared by the Cowboys. This story is about brothers, Mason and Brookes Fletcher are super hot and very masterful in showing Janey how much they want her. When Janey was staying with her best friend, Joelle, her partners cousins spent most of the night staring at Janey and she was staring right back. She thought that she could just have one night, but nine weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant. Both Mason and Brookes wanted Janey in their life, but she was resistant because of her mother. I really enjoyed the interaction between these three characters and how both men slowly won her over and showed he how much they loved her and their baby. Things worked out in the end with her family and they go on to have their version of a happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Whew! This certainly gets super steamy - super quick! But then, what else would you expect when two cowboy brothers set their eyes on you?

After her friend Joelle found her forever with Caleb and Wade (in book one), she figures one night with these two would be fun without commitment, and Mason and Brookes are happy to oblige.

As we all know, best laid plans often go astray, and not knowing who the actual father of your baby (and not really even knowing the guys) can shake even the strongest woman. Janey has been living up to her family's expectations (especially her mother's) all her life, and it is not easy. Certainly not the life she'd choose.

This trio is entertaining, with very strong steamy chemistry between them and it was easy to enjoy.

Janey is visiting her friends for a party and she meets Mason and Brooks who are also friends of the same family. Chemistry is instant between the three and it turns into one wild night. However, Janey leaves to go home and back to her normal life where she is a "good girl" always living her life to please her parents, particularly her mother. However, she never stopped thinking about them, and they never stopped trying to find a way to win her back. She is shocked however when she discovers that her one wild night resulted in her being pregnant. The men take this as their sign that they need to show her how much they care for her and how life could be for all of them. This was a great follow up to book one (Joelle/Wade and Caleb's story) bringing us more of the book one characters as well as this amazing relationship.

Short read, but as always, written decently. It was an okay storyline, I just wasn't a big fan of Janey and her angst about the unexpected pregnancy and what everyone would think. She's supposed to be a grown arse woman with a veterinary career, so seriously? And I never like the consideration of unaliving a baby due to convenience. You play you pay, pregnancy is always a "risk" so you deal with the consequences you don't end a life, plenty of other available options. The fact that Janey's mother had one when she was young, made it worse. Why push an agenda, which is what this storyline did by going on and on about "choice". I almost DNF because I hate agendas, I like entertainment, not propaganda. Like I said, I've read other books by this author and enjoyed them, this one just missed the mark for me.

Unattainable
Does Love have only one form or is it different for everyone? We’ll get ready to see the good, the bad and the ugly side of humanity when looking at Janey’s life! Visiting her bestie for a birthday party was all that Janey planned but sometimes life laughs at our plans and shows us that we aren’t in charge! Mason and Brookes have instant chemistry with Janey and she feels it too since she does things that are not what she would normally do and yet she’s Happy for once in her life. Actions, consequences and life! This story will have you thinking about those three little words quite a bit. ❤️❤️

We got to meet Janey (FMC) briefly in her friend Joelle's book - Shared by the Cowboys. The book before this one. **Fans Herself** more hot cowboys my Kindle couldn't cope with all of the heat that Brookes & Mason generated in this book.

Janey, Brookes & Mason have one steamy night together that leave Janey with more than happy memories. A baby that complicates everything for her especially with her judgemental mother and her job working as a vet in a close knit community. I really liked Janey, Brookes and Mason's dynamic together. It was both endearing & protective as well as hot as hell! This was a great read.

I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
This spice was spicy. We also got a bit of humor, drama, and lots of feels.
Brookes and Mason were both so patient and caring of Janey. I loved them both.
I was so proud of Janey standing up for herself. With the help of her cowboys we get to see her growth and confidence.
I loved the ending!
