A very sweet, quick paced love story. There was no drama, tension, or angst. Just a couple with an instant attraction who met under unfortunate circumstances. I enjoyed watching Onyx love Maverick out loud and balance his time as a single dad.

Sweet & Spicy Love. I Enjoyed It!
This is the first book that I have read from this author and it also appears to also be the first in her catalog. I enjoyed it. The storyline was sweet and spicy with no drama. It held my interest and also served as a good palate cleanser from some of the other foolishness I have read recently. These characters were successful black professionals and good upstanding members of society who met when one literally saved the other's life. Though they both had experienced some hard things in their pasts, neither let it overcome them or block their blessings. The only thing that this book lacked for me or what I would have liked to see more of was how Maverick's parents interacted with Onyx and Turquoise. It felt odd that with them being such an important part of her life, they were seemingly left out of their life together. Other than that, if this book is any indication, this author has the right recipe to craft some other good books in the future.

What made their story even more beautiful was the way they genuinely wanted to help and support one another 🤍. Malverick being there for Onyx and his sweet daughter, Turquoise 👧🏾, and Onyx offering patience, understanding, and comfort as Malverick navigated her anxiety it was truly touching. Their love felt safe, warm, and healing.
And let’s not forget Spencer, Malverick’s loyal helper dog 🐕🦺💞, who completed their little family perfectly! Together, they weren’t just a couple—they were a connected, loving instafamily 🏡✨.

Book Three!!
What can I say about book 3 of the BLP Breeds series?!?! I absolutely loved this book!!! I don’t know if this is the first time I read a book by Soleil but I am definitely a fan after this one and ready to read the rest of her catalog!!!
Maverick and Onyx’s love story is definitely a love at first sight romance because they both knew and we knew too. The love they had for each other and the way their relationship just flowed made me want that kind of love again.

Since the day Onyx stepped in and saved Maverick, he knew that was his forever! He told his dad that that was his future and he made it happen. The way Maverick loved on turquoise was admirable. She treated that baby like her own from day one. Mavericks friends and family were accepting of Onyx from jump the same way that Onyx’s family accepted Maverick with minimal questions asked. Onyx was the sweetest and the way that he loved and protected Maverick. The way he helped her with her anxiety was top-tier chef’s kiss 😘🤌🏾💋 I love love love this story!

Onyx and Maverick
Maverick is single and just enjoying where she is in life at the moment. She is reduced from a house fire, and this changes her outlook on her current romantic life.
Onyx is a single father who is a fireman and gets a call for a house fire. He resues the most beautiful woman since the mother of his child. He wants to see her again, but not she how to make it possible.
Maverick is a doctor and fills in for another doctor of the practice that she is a part of and ends up meeting Onyx again. Onyx knows it's now or never and asks her out.
This is a great addition to the series.

This was such a sweet story. Not a lot of drama and unhinged madness, just good clean loving and being loved.
Onxy and Maverick were two people living life but not really living. He was a single dad, and she was a doctor with severe anxiety. Her house catching fire and Onxy saving her changed the trajectory of their lives. Sweet, heartfelt, and simply beautiful.
This was such a sweet story. Not a lot of drama and unhinged madness, just good clean loving and being loved.

Sometimes we all need the hood/urban escape and just indulge is a sweet romance. This is what Maverick and Onyx story was to me. Little drama but so much love, support, and dating. Don't get me wrong Onyx laid that pipe baby and GOOD but he was a companion next to being a father. There was communication, fun, and affirmations. They spoke life into each other and was a real team.

Great little fast paced love story!!
The chemistry between Onyx and Maverick was undeniable. Even though love had threw Onyx a curveball he didn't shy away from it when he felt it again. He went in head first with intention. I loved the fact that Maverick didn't fight against the pull she felt for Onyx, therefore allowing him to come in and sweep her off her feet. It was just the right amount of spice. Five stars Ms. Soleil!!🥰

This was really a good read. It was love at first sight. I love the way their relationship grew. It was very romantic, as I blushed throughout the whole story. Onyx was very attentive and loving, as well as Maverick. They took care of each other needs, both mentally and physically. I adored how Maverick’s relationship with Onyx’s daughter developed and flourished. Wow, a small house fire turned into a marriage/family.

This was such a feel good love story. The storyline was perfect. I love the patience, loyalty, and straightforward approach shown by the MMC. The FMC was honest, sweet, and loving. The two of their personalities combined along with their approach to love and bonding makes this a real great book.

This was my first read by this author and I really enjoyed this story. It was easygoing and without drama. I liked than MMC and FMC together. Their vibe was cute and simple and sexy. They couldn’t get enough of each other. Their romance made me feel good. I will definitely be on the look out for more stories by this author.

Soo I think this was my favorite so far. This is just the way I see love; full, peaceful and no games. I loved how Onyx and Maverick just had a such a smooth relationship. It's like they just went together no craziness just straight up true love.
