The Sins We Choose

Rate this book
Some monsters deserve cages. Trinity Slade gives them graves.

After watching predators walk free in her courtroom, former advocate Trinity stopped believing in the law. Now she delivers verdicts the system won't.

Sebastian "Bast" Pell taught her how to hunt. How to shoot center mass. How to disappear evidence. How to be ice instead of fire.

Arthur Penhaligon traffics women through charity galas and vineyard auctions. He thinks his money makes him untouchable.

He's wrong.

Trinity was supposed to observe. Instead, she opened the doors and let ten girls run.

Now Penhaligon is dead, and a federal prosecutor named Nathaniel Thornewick is connecting every body back to her.

This is not a story about becoming a monster. It's about choosing which sins you can live with.

Whew!

This one got out of hand. But I would have wanted the same things as Trinity. I think I would have pocketed some of the money. If not, I sure would have been tempted. I just thought of something: Trinity broke her vow to obey Bast, completely. Rather than eliminate her or break ties, he takes her with him. I can hardly wait for the next books in the series to be released!

BTW: Lola, at least one more edit is needed. See my highlights/comments.
