About the author

Linda Ford

Linda Ford grew up devouring books and making up stories in her head—often late at night when she couldn't sleep. But she hadn't planned to write. Instead, she dreamed of running an orphanage. In a way, that dream came true. She married, had four homemade children, adopted ten and lived (at times, endured) the dream.

Writing first took her to non-fiction human-interest articles for newspapers and eventually a non-fiction book about tuberculosis set in the 1930s and 1940s (Touched By The White Plague). But romance had always been her first love and she turned to writing love stories. She is multi-published in the CBA market.

She lives on a small ranch in Alberta, Canada, where she can see the mountains every day. She and her husband continue to enjoy their children and grandchildren.

I loved the scriptures and Christian content.
The struggles of both characters were very much like what many people suffer and struggle with.

Forever and Always

This is such a sweet and heartwarming story. Dianne and her young son have lost her husband, and then her father, both leaving them with very little. Her father’s friend who owns a ranch in Golden Valley is her last chance to find home. Jace is running from loss as well. He doesn’t want the ranch his mentor has left him. But when Dianne stumbles into his cabin with her son, he feels responsible for them. I recommend you read their story.

Lose Can Bring Happiness

Two young people find each other by God's hand. How? A young widow with a small son traveling to help a friend of her late fathers. Meets, in a complex way, a young man who has connections to the place she is going to.
Linda Ford has created a pleasant tale of God's handy work in this story. Proving nothing is too hard for God's plan for happiness.

Love never seeks her own.

What I thought to be selfish thinking by Dianne turned out to be what was needed in the long run. Sometimes forgiving yourself can be the hardest person you have to forgive. But God is able.

Very good story line. Well written except for one particular, recurring grammatical error which totally distracts from the story line. Author needs to go back to junior high and review her English lessons.

Great story!

Enough drama to keep it going, rich in history, romance, and faith. Linda Ford is good story teller and that is always the beginning of a good author and she is both.
