Working as the nanny for my best friend’s brother was supposed to be simple.
Until the single dad I can’t have starts looking at me like I'm everything he wants.

Nora Miller has known her best friend’s brother for long enough to know that he’s completely out of her league. He’s older, established, and still carrying the quiet heartbreak of losing his wife two years ago. But when Theo’s nanny quits without warning, his sister insists that hiring Nora is the perfect solution.

Nora needs the job. Theo needs someone he can trust with his three-year-old daughter. Pretending she’s not wildly attracted to the man she works for shouldn’t be that hard.

Theo Archibald has been doing his best to rebuild the life he lost, but no matter how many dates he goes on, nothing ever feels right—something, he tells himself, that has nothing to do with his daughter’s new nanny.

But with Nora filling his home with laughter and bringing warmth back into spaces that became hollow, it’s getting harder to pretend he doesn’t notice her. And somewhere between late-night talks and stolen glances, the dynamics begin to blur and he realizes he’s thinking about her in ways he shouldn’t be.

She’s younger. His sister’s best friend. His employee.

But when she’s in his arms and the ache in his chest finally quiets, it’s hard to care about the rules he swore he wouldn’t break.

And when the woman who’s become his daughter’s favorite person starts to feel like the home he never thought he’d find again, he has to decide if love is worth the risk… or if some lines should never be crossed.

STAY HERE WITH ME is a slow-burn, forbidden single dad romance about second chances, found family, and falling for the one person you were never supposed to want.

Some books quietly steal your heart, and this was one of them. 💛

From the very first chapter, I found myself completely invested in Theo and Nora's story. Their connection isn't built on instant attraction or dramatic declarations—it's the kind of romance that grows slowly, layer by layer, until you're rooting for them with your whole heart.

Theo is doing his best to navigate life as a single father after unimaginable loss, and watching him balance grief, fatherhood, and the possibility of opening his heart again felt incredibly authentic. Nora brought such warmth and light to every scene. Her bond with Charlotte was absolutely precious, and some of my favorite moments were simply the three of them together, creating something that felt like home.

The slow-burn romance was done so well. Every glance, every conversation, every little moment carried meaning, making the payoff feel even sweeter. I especially appreciated how the story handled healing and moving forward. It never rushed the process, allowing both characters the space to grow while learning to trust love again.

The small-town setting added an extra layer of charm, and the fake dating element created just the right amount of tension without overshadowing the emotional depth of the story.

If you love:
✨ Single dad romance
✨ Best friend's brother
✨ Fake dating
✨ Nanny romance
✨ Slow burn tension
✨ Small-town charm
✨ Found family vibes
✨ Widower hero

then this book deserves a spot on your TBR.

Heartwarming, emotional, and filled with hope, this story reminded me why I love romance in the first place. Judy Corry delivers a beautiful journey of healing, family, and second chances that left me smiling long after I turned the final page. 💕

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book I have read by Judy Corry and won’t be the last! This is also the fourth book in the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars.

I haven't always considered myself a fan of forbidden romance... but then I was introduced to Judy Corry's books (and the Kings of Eden Falls series particularly), and now... well, if she writes it, I'm going to read it (and love it). Every. Single. Time. This age gap, nanny/single dad romance between Nora and Theo was certainly no exception! Oh these two, I loved them so much! Their chemistry was flying off the pages and the tension, my goodness! And those kisses! Listen, the kisses might get a little more heated than some closed-door readers prefer, but personally, I think this is another area that Judy has mastered- bringing just the right amount of heat and passion while still keeping that door closed. But it was definitely the emotions that made me truly love this story. I loved seeing Theo getting his second chance at love after losing his wife... there was such a sense of healing there. Simply put, I absolutely adored this one... and that ending? Well, I certainly cannot wait to see the next book in the series!!

Stay Here With Me is a closed-door romance with no language. While there is nothing beyond kisses on the page, again, those kisses do get rather heated (wandering hands, shirt coming off, etc.) and there is mention of sleeping in the same bed that could imply more happened, without actually saying one way or another. Either way, those kisses alone definitely make this one more PG-13. There is also an optional steamy/open door bonus scene that readers can choose to download if they choose. This is book four in the Kings of Eden Falls series, but I do think it could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The job was simple, stand in as the nanny for her best friends adorable 3 year old niece for the next week. As a new college grad, she needed the money and something to hold her over until work in her field opened up, after all, one can only do so many princess birthday parties to try and make rent.

But Nora knows it can’t possibly be that simple, because the father of that adorable 3 year old is her best friends older brother, Theo Archibald, the impossibly handsome lawyer she has had a crush on for years.

Two years after the loss of his wife in a car accident, Theo is navigating the world as a single father and lawyer, prioritizing his daughter Charlotte as best he knows. But when his nanny up and quits with no notice, Theo needs a solution, fast. Enter, Nora.

Tropes:
- Best friends older brother
- Age Gap romance
- Single dad (a widower)
- Forced proximity (at home, on vacation and on a boat)
- Fake dating (that doesn’t stay fake for long)
- Found family
- He saves her. Literally.

This was my first Judy Corry read and first introduction to the Kings of Eden Falls series. Judy provides enough background detail throughout the book to understand each character if like me you are new to this series. Looking forward to going back to the beginning and meeting these characters from the start.

STAY HERE WITH ME is a slow-burn, single dad romance about second chances, found family, and falling for the one person you were never supposed to want.

Thank you, Booked with The Emilys for all the work you do behind the scenes to bring books to our worlds and for Judy Corry for the chance to meet Theo, Nora and Charlotte early with this arc.

Tropes:
Single-Dad👧🏽

Found Family🧑‍🧑‍🧒
Fake Dating🤪
Best friends brother🫣
Each other’s (wing people)😂

The other people kind of through me for a loop at first and I didn't know if I was going to like it, but it was surprisingly good. As you can see I devoured this book as soon as I got it there was no stopping. lol.

This is the first book I’ve read by Judy Corry and let’s just say I’ll definitely be reading more from her. The cover and title are what first caught my attention, but it was the description that captured me. I literally tried to read another book, but I just couldn’t stop thinking about these characters and how the story would go.

This was a story about love after loss and, of course, it's messy, and you know people's feelings are maybe going to get hurt, but it was also a story about a father doing everything he can to make sure his child still has everything she needs and wants, plus taking her feelings into account as well, so I thought their romance was brilliantly done.

I especially love that it was a slow burn. There was no jumping into something that he wasn't ready for yet. She makes you feel their connection and actually builds up on the tension until you feel it about to snap and it is such a beautiful thing. I loved all three of them together. They were such a cute little family. And I felt like it was refreshingly new in a story about a single dad and a nanny trope.

Nora & Theo's story is mesmerizing.... 100% addicting and I stayed up way too late finishing it....

The slow burn tension is just.... the best... it makes you feel all the feels.... the longing and yearning they feel... you feel also...

I really loved the book... I love the characters (all of them) so much... and little Charlotte is a sweetheart (she's Theo's 3 year old daughter). I love their interactions, their conversations... their outings.... and even how his wealthy in laws accepted her.... (it was a process...but I appreciated their openness). It was a bit emotional... seeing some grief as he's packing up his dead wife's clothing... but it was a sweet moment that Nora was able to walk alongside him & be a helper/comfort...

I didn't realize that this book is part of a series (it's book 4 in the Kings of Eden Falls series, as interconnected standalones)... I could only tell when it felt like I missed some backstory in some of the characters... but it still was easy enough to follow along.... I do really look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series, though!!

Told in a dual 1st person POV.

This was cute!

I flew through it. It's very readable, the pages move quickly, and I finished it in no time.

As a toddler mom, I have to say the author absolutely naaaaailed a lot of the toddler stuff. Everything with Charlotte felt very authentic to me, and I loved that.

That said, this one never fully clicked for me.

I think a lot of it came down to the writing style. The book uses a lot of short, fragmented sentences for emphasis and, unfortunately, that's just a style that really doesn't work for me. After a while, it started to feel repetitive. Once I learned the author also writes YA, the voice made a lot more sense to me.

I also wanted a little more from the romance itself. Theo and Nora were both perfectly likable, but I never found myself fully invested in them as a couple. There were plenty of moments meant to bring them together, but I never personally got that feeling where I was desperate for them to finally get together.

Tbh, by the end, I was more interested in some of the side characters than the main romance. (Miles and Alessi!!)

Overall, this wasn't a bad read at all! It was just one of those books that wasn't quite for me. If you're looking for a sweet, cozy romance with a lower spice feel, I have a feeling this one is going to be a hit with the right audience.

This was honestly so cute and sweet! I was super excited about this book because I wanted to see Nora and Theo get their happy ending. It was worth the wait! Stay Here With Me is the fourth book in Judy Corry’s Kings of Eden Falls.
I liked both Nora and Theo from the beginning. They were both just trying to figure out life. Theo was honestly still trying to navigate raising his daughter without his wife and Nora was trying to figure out what she wanted to do. I love how Charlotte brought them together. They both adored Theo’s child.
The characters felt real and their struggles felt real. I liked how they handled things like adults. They had some growth and stretching to do but they were willing to work with each other. There were small miscommunications but it fit the characters and didn’t feel overblown. It was fun to see some old characters and also see the hints of the next books.
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy forbidden romances (he’s her boss, she’s the nanny) with lots of feelings and cute scenes. Stay Here With Me is a fade to black contemporary romance.
Content warnings: innuendos, steamy kisses, death of a loved one (past), he’s a widower (steamy bonus scene with email sign up at the end)

Book Highlights:
She was a gymnast
Single dad
Princess pirates
Best friend’s brother
Age gap

Tropes, tropes, and MORE TROPES! 😍
From the very first page, Stay Here with Me completely hooked me. Judy Corry packed this book with some of my absolute favorite tropes: single dad, nanny, and best friend’s brother, forced proximity, fake relationships, and it was execution perfection.
The chemistry between Theo and Nora was off the charts. Their banter, the deep understanding they shared, and their overall love story was just everything. I loved that the plot felt incredibly fast paced; there was situation after situation happening, keeping the momentum going so fast that I couldn't stop reading until the very last page.
One of my absolute favorite parts of the book was the dynamic between Theo and his sister, Lucy. Their conversations were adorable, and I loved how deeply supportive she was of him and how much she helped him finally get the girl. I do wish we could have seen just a little bit more of Nora and Lucy’s friendship on page, but the moments we did get were beautiful. It really makes you appreciate having a supportive, loyal friend like that in your life.
An absolute must read if you love sweet, high chemistry contemporary romance!

This was such a cute and endearing story. I felt everything the characters were going through, even the awkward stages of moving on from a wife you loved, and stepping into the shoes of being the girl replacing someone’s first love. It was messy and engaging in the best way. The dynamics between the Theo and Nora actually build cohesively throughout the entire book. I didn’t feel like there were any plot holes or missing pieces.

I’m a sucker for a good romance and this one had me hooked. It was an easy, straight forward read. You don’t need much world building in contemporary romance, but I got just enough to understand the different dynamics between Nora and Theo coming from two completely different worlds. I liked how, for me, it was fast-paced and the language was modern, not overly cliche or cheesy.

The spice level is minimal, which is refreshing. I loved reading a story where the plot is actually focused on the two characters, secret glances, forced proximity, crossing lines they shouldn’t. The dual POV helped understand each character and see where this story would end up.

Would recommend this entire series, but especially this one.

This single dad, nanny, and close-proximity romance was such a cute and well-written read! I really enjoyed this story, and if you're looking for a low-angst romance with a calmer plot and not too much drama, this one is definitely worth picking up.

The dynamic between Nora and Theo was incredible. I loved how they respected each other and gave one another the time and space they needed. Of course, some of the conflicts could have been solved with a simple conversation, but where would the fun be in that?

This was my first book by this author and from this series, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to follow the story without having read the previous books. Everything felt accessible and well explained.

That said, there were a few things I would have liked to see explored in more depth. Some questions and potential issues are raised near the end of the book, but the reader never really gets to see how they are resolved, which left me wanting a bit more closure.

Thank you to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was an adorable romance. I always love a good nanny/single older dad romance and this one did not disappoint. This was book 3 in the series and the first one I’ve read by this author. I definitely agree this one was easily read as a standalone but I did feel behind on having some depth to some of the other side characters so I’m hoping to go back and read the others.
I enjoyed the author’s style of writing although she reused some phrases several times which was a little Annoying (repeatedly mentions the main characters brother is a Grammy winning artist)
All in all though I loved the dynamics between Theo and Nora; the dimension and depth that each character had and the way they grew with and towards each other. Theo’s daughter Charlotte was such a great character as well. Written age appropriately and very precocious which I loved.
I look forward to reading more by this author.

This book is Physical Intimacy Level 3

Did I immediately stop the book I was currently reading to start this one? YES! When Judy Corry sends out ARCs I always start them right away. Right from the start Theo was just so… normal. As a parent myself he just seemed like the rest of us and I loved that so much. Theo lost his wife and is raising their 3 year old daughter alone. If you’re a parent you know it takes a village to care for a child and Theo just found out his nanny is leaving. Nora is looking for a more steady job and knows Theo because he is her best friend’s brother. I absolutely loved their interactions. Theo asks Nora if she can watch his daughter Charlotte for a week while he finds a new nanny. You already know how this is going to go. It was so fun seeing Nora step into that roll and quite effortlessly might I add. Charlotte took to Nora right away and seeing them grow closer was so sweet. This is very much a slow burn romance in the best way possible. Theo is quite honestly the perfect man. I loved seeing Theo and Nora slowly fall in love. You really feel like you’re on this journey with them. This is a clean romance but it’s definitely on the naughtier side of clean 🔥 that one bed scene was so hot 😮‍💨 There is also a link to a steamy epilogue that is a must read. I’m loving this side of Judy Corry and hoping she keeps writing this way.

ALC Review: When I got the ALC for Stay Here With Me I knew that was the next audiobook I was going to listen to on my walk. I just read the ARC on the 11th and was already missing Theo, Nora and Charlotte. This audiobook is so well done! There is a very intense scene and Austin Rising did a wonderful job making us feel his fear. He says a certain line and it hit just as good in the audio as it did in ebook 👏👏 you’ll have to read the book to know what that line is 😉 Amy Melissa Bentley did a fantastic job as Nora. They both sounded exactly how Theo and Nora sounded in my head when I read the ebook. If you want a great nanny romance that makes you feel all the feels make sure you read this one!

5 stars – Stay Here with Me by Judy Corry is such a good story! I usually like this author’s work, but this one really knocked it out of the park for me. The FMC Nora is a recent college graduate and was supposed to have her first post college job. After that falls through, she ends up being a nanny for her best friend’s older (7 years and 7 months older) brother, Theo. The same man that she had a crush on last year. This book was so descriptive and well written that I really felt like I was there watching the romance grow between Nora and Theo. You feel the chemistry between them and Theo’s daughter is just the cutest!

Also, this story is a sweet one and there is an optional steamy epilogue available to download which is a spicy follow-up.

A huge thank you to NetGalley, the author and Cherry Blossom Romance for allowing me to read an ARC. All thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.

If you know me at all, and you’ve read the synopsis for this book, you know that without a doubt the child will be my favorite character, and of course, for me, Charlotte stole the show!

But I can’t ignore Theo and Nora, and their amazing chemistry, and the way he cared for her. I don’t want to give anything away, but I love how he ended up in the right place at the right time for her 🫠

Theo and Nora’s story is a slow burn, and I found myself begging them to have more accidental hand brushes, or things like that 🤭 but once they finally admitted to their feelings their relationship took off! I loved all the other friendships in their lives and the support from the families, especially from Charlotte’s grandparents. This story really showed off how important family is, and I loved that!

Though this book closed door/fade to black, it’s definitely got some steam (but not too much for me!), along with possible implied sex (depends on how the reader wants to view it), and there is the option at the end for a bonus open door scene.

I will admit I was hesitate at first because I’m not a huge nanny/boss trope lover, BUT every trope that Judy has written in the Eden Falls universe she has written out of the park, including this one! What makes Theo and Nora one step better is Judy added my personal favorite trope, brother/sisters best friend. I feel like Judy does the perfect example of slow burn. Everything was done on such a perfect timeline, add in a little fake dating & BOOM shes got numerous tropes done to perfection! Nora & Theo were literally THE sweetest! Those kisses however were not 😅🫣 and I am here for it!

Every book in the Eden Falls series has the steamiest kisses but stops there. It’s just the perfect amount of everything! Judy does yearning & slow burn so stinking good! Can’t recommend this series & Stay With Me enough. I can not wait for Miles’ story!

I don’t have enough words to praise this book. It’s absolutely that good.

I always love a good age gap romance—only 8 years here—but this book is so much more. It has romantic tension that could stretch a rubber band from the east coast to the west, and all this is topped off by the most adorable three year old princess with a load of confidence and attitude. So cute!

Theo is the sweetest guy and I loved watching Nora begin to break down his walls. They were obviously perfect for each other but had to get out of their own heads to come together.

I pretty much smiled my way through the book and I’m sure the people around me wondered what I was grinning about. I couldn’t help myself.

I was given an early copy courtesy of the author and I will definitely be purchasing one as well. This is my honest opinion of the book.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Nora Miller agrees to temporarily nanny for her best friend’s widowed brother, Theo Archibald, determined to keep her long-standing crush a secret. As Theo struggles to rebuild his life after losing his wife, Nora’s warmth and bond with his daughter make it impossible to ignore their growing connection. Despite the complications of their age gap, employer-employee relationship, and family ties, the attraction between them becomes harder to resist. This is a slow-burn, forbidden romance about healing after loss, found family, and taking a chance on love when it matters most.

This is a beautifully written slow-burn romance with lovable characters and all the feels. Utterly swoon-worthy! And the chemistry between Theo and Nora!

I'd like to start this by saying that I received an advanced copy from NetGalley. I love Judy Corry- she is an amazing YA author and I, a fully grown adult, continue to read every single YA book she puts out. With that being said, I loved this- it included A LOT of tropes which I didn't expect, including Single dad x nanny which I typically don't love but this was done well. It felt natural. The character development and relationship progression felt realistic and didn't feel forced. I also appreciated the touch on tough subjects, like grief and familial trauma. This relationship was really well illustrated and I truly enjoyed this.

I loved this sweet and realistic romance. Nora, Theo and little Charlotte made the perfect family.
These two fitted together so beautifully, she slotted into his and his daughter’s life seamlessly, filling all the spaces he needed help with.
This is a slow burn, with deep feelings and realistic characters. Their histories, friend groups and families made for a wonderful and heartfelt story. While some parts dealt with tragedy or trauma, the story remained uplifting and light, with little twists and glimpses into the lives of characters from previous and future books.
I love Eden Falls, and can’t wait to visit again to see what happens with Miles.

This book was amazing. Theo and Nora were so cute together and Charlotte was so adorable. I really loved the way they communicated in this book. They talked about their future together with no misunderstanding. I loved all of the side characters especially Ky, Nora’s older bother. The kisses were a bit too steamy for my taste but there is no explicit content. I also loved how moving on after the death of your spouse was portrayed and the slow burn was incredible. The ending was so cute and wholesome.

I give my thanks to the author and to NetGalley for giving me this ARC.

This story had a good balance of sweetness, angst, and complications that made it a can't-put-it-down read. I sped through this book in less than a day. Nora and Theo were so sweet and both green flags. Charlotte was funny, cute, and entertaining to read about.

I'm not usually a huge fan of age gap and/or "forbidden" romance, but the age gap wasn't extreme - only 7 years and 7 months (haha) - and because they'd known each other for a little while through Nora's best friend/Theo's sister, the nanny/boss thing wasn't uncomfortable.

I had never read a Judy Corry book before, but I'm really glad to have her on my radar now.

I was so excited to see Nora and Theo's story! It didn't disappoint. Their relationship developes naturally and the dynamics between Theo,Nora and Charlotte are so sweet. There's a bit of a love triangle (which I'm not a fan of), but it was so miniscule that it didn't create any real drama or angst. There are a few steamy kissing scenes that I flipped past. But there's no cussing, it's sweet with an HEA. Thanks for the early read Judy! Tropes: Best friend's brother, nanny, fake dating, single dad

Judy Corry has done it again!

A swoon worthy romance worth 6 stars!! Sweet closed door romance. No third act breakup, no miscommunication trope. From beginning to end we have character interactions and development. Seeing the love develop over time. The banter between the two characters were kick your feet and giggle good! Theo Archibald is a sweetheart trying to navigate how to put himself back out there as a single dad wanting love but still dealing with holding on to the wife he lost. Insert Nora, the girl hes always known and thought was beautiful but never thought she would ever want someone with so much baggage. She comes into his and his daughters life and shifts the atmosphere making life feel so much lighter and at peace than he's ever felt in the past 2 years since his wife passed away. In the midst of stolen glances and lingering touches, deep conversations the two find love in a place neither of them ever thought possible. As of yet this is the best book in the Kings of Eden Falls Series. Next up is miles and curious to see how Judy will create a life story in what already seems to be a complicated and forbidden situation.

Tropes include: single dad, sisters best friend, age gap, forced proximity, slow burn.

Some trigger warnings: Widowhood, childhood trauma, dog attack, Greif, losing home to fire.

Thank you Judy for this ARC!!

Ok, this was my first time reading a book with the single dad/nanny trope. And I felt like that always seemed a little 'ew/yuck' to me, but that was not the case at all!! Judy Corry wrote that trope so incredibly well! The age gap was only 8 years, so it wasn't anything like Leo and his girlfriends (haha! sorry sir..).
Oh grab the popcorn for this one! The slow burn and tension is simply off the charts 🤌 Slow burn, forbidden romance, found family, and falling for the one person you were never supposed to want.

Stay Here With Me by Judy Corry was a 5-star read for me! I fell in love with Nora and Theo (and Charlotte) immediately. The tension/slow burn had me on the edge of my seat, obviously carrying meaning. I have not read Judy Corry before but I will absolutely be adding the other books in the Kings of Eden series to my TBR. I loved that this was closed door (I enjoy spice or no spice) but the way it was written just felt write for these characters. Thank you to NetGalley and Cherry Blossom Romance for the ARC, all opinions are my own.

Best friend's older brother + age gap + Single Dad. Some of my favorite tropes that made this book so sweet! Stay Here With Me was warm and fluffy with low stakes. I felt like the pacing was a little slow at times, and it definitely is a slow burn with low spice. I tend to like my romances with more heat, which is why it felt a little juvenile in places.
Overall, though, I would recommend it If you're looking for something soft and sweet to read on the beach!

Nanny & your boss happens to be a hot single dad?? I absolutely enjoyed this book from beginning to end! It was such a refreshing read that handles real-life dating scenarios with so much authenticity.

The dynamic between the two main characters was incredible. While their chemistry was undeniable, I loved that they actually took the time to weigh everything out before they even thought about diving into anything. It is a true slow burn, but the payoff at the end is absolutely worth it!

There’s a saying that books can heal you from things that broke you which you didn’t even realise.

And this one is one of them. Story of Theo and Nora will make you feel every emotions.

Theo a single father navigating his life and the loss with grief is heartbreaking. Nora comes to his and Charlotte’s life and make it brighter. Just loved the way both Nora and Charlotte bonded.

This book broke me in a beautiful way that I’m not even complaining.
