April 18, 2026The graphic novel is not out yet as of the date of this review. Nevertheless, I read the single comic issues that will be in this book. They are very good.
This book takes place right after the "Welcome Back Frank" Punisher storylines. It discusses the efforts by gangs to fill the void after Frank killed the Gnucci Crime Family. The story is great and intriguing - and it kept me on the edge of my seat. I did not twist coming at the end. The pacing of the story was fast but not too fast. So, the plot was good.
I love the action throughout. The fights were well done and well illustrated. And, the art and coloring were good also.
The characterization is solid as well. Daredevil and Punisher's conflict is well-written and is portrayed accurately. I also felt that the depiction of both Punisher and Daredevil was spot on too. Plus, both are intriguing characters.
Altogether, this is a solid story. Each of the comic issues were great and I enjoyed them..

As a daredevil and punisher fan this is just an awesome comic read feeling very much reminiscent of their early meetings. Appreciate the dynamic but definitely wish there was more punisher throughout.

This was a really fun story for both characters and it fit perfectly into the Marvel Knights era.
