A heartwarming love story with the magic of a coastal island make this sweet read a delight. The story is interesting along with realistic and enjoyable characters keep the pages turning. A wonderfully written, wholesome book with a few twists to keep you guessing. A great addition to this entertaining series.

I loved this sweet romance setting in the beach of Nantucket. I always find this authors clean and wholesome books pleasantly refreshing to read. I love the characters in this story. Although Garrett/Rett didn’t tell the truth in the beginning he felt like he was doing the right thing but it came back to hurt him in the long run but the forgiveness and new beginnings of their relationship was sweet.

Lila and Garret were both forced to change the course of their lives because something happened. He didn’t realize they were connected it was until Lila told him about losing her savings and her dream. He encouraged her to grow her cookie business through local businesses and the farmers market but he doesn’t tell her the truth until it’s too late. Even though he changed his name Garret must have realized someone from his circle would recognize him once he started spending time with Lila around the island. I enjoyed reading about the places they visited. Makes me want to take the ferry there in the summer. This was a kisses only romance.

There she helped with anything her aunt needed as well as baked cookies, which became popular at first bite. When Rett comes to the inn to get away from his job and the betrayal of his partners, he didn’t know that one of the people affected was Lila. When the truth comes out, can the trust be restored and will she be able to forgive. This is a clean romance that has you by the water, sand, and the breeze over the water.

Rett, a real estate investor, decides to take a vacation from his business and partners. This slow burn romance has great characters, plot twists, secrets, and revealed truths.
