Just when I started thinking it was too crazy, it got really good!
I was at a place in this book where I thought Jude is just too psycho to be redeemable. I had no clue how this book could dig itself out of where it was going. Then all of the sudden it started to dig and it got really good. I want to tell you haw that happened and why that makes it so much better, but that would be giving the whole thing away. Suffice it to say this is the best book so far.
Jude starts out showing us his true self a bit more than he has in previous books, he talks about his childhood and his father which helps us understand him more and helps us want to cheer him on a bit. He also begins to get a bit frustrated with Ronnie, because she apparently talks too much when he gets home. Though he locks her up in a room all day by herself while he goes to work then stops on his way home to “play” with Patty. So what does he expect?
Agent Blake is a bigger jerk all the time, so I hope he gets karmic retribution at some point. I certainly feel bad for Agent Chase following him around like a puppy dog. He is the worst. His inner commentary about women uses the most misogynistic and derogatory terms.
Ronnie is a surprise in this book because she wasn’t in the last book all that much and she plays a bigger role in this book. She is so good at being the submissive and doing exactly what Jude tells her, but at one point in the book she really comes out of her shell.
Of course everything starts to come together towards the end and I was surprised at how much I was truly enjoying the book and how things were working out so far. But of course since there is one more book, it ended on a cliffhanger, like the others and this one was a doozy!

At this point, I have NO CLUE where this story is headed, what other mindfuckeries are waiting for us readers at the next corner or how the hell this all can EVER end up well. And it doesn't matter, oh not at all, because the JOURNEY is what matters and this is one hellova crazy ride that I just don't want to get off of!
That's the beauty of this dark, twisted, cringe-worthy, shocking story. You never know what will happen next. You never know which character will do something unspeakable and make your jaw drop. If you enjoy stories that capture your mind, fill it with blood, cum and all kinds of WRONG, this is your book. Hop on the train and wait for your world to get rocked!
There's no way I can summarize the plot without spoiling the awesomeness of the story, so I will instead just talk about the characters:
JUDE HOLLISTOR: It's official. I am seriously twisted in the head, because I love this crazy f*cker SO MUCH!
With Book#3, we get to learn more about his childhood, his relationship with his parents (especially his dad) and what exactly triggered his impulse control issues in the first place.
To think Pet had vanished from my life only to reappear at the most unlikely of times. To think that the very girl who was responsible for my 'power to cock' connection was now the love of my life.

Jude still feeds off vulnerability and destruction, power and control, blood and harm. The authors deserve a HUGE APPLAUSE for their excellent depiction of a psychopath. Having worked at a Psychiatry Clinic for months, I've had the opportunity to meet real psychopaths, you know, ones that've actually been diagnosed as such, and I've got to say Jude is EXACTLY like them.
Why wasn't I happy? Why couldn't I ever just be fucking happy?
...Because I was flawed. DEEPLY flawed, I'd come to realize.

VERONICA/RONNIE "PET" LAPIERRE: This girl surprised me! Her chapters were the ones that I enjoyed the most in this book! Keeping in mind that I was yawning and rolling my eyes at her scenes in the previous books, I am very pleased with the excellency of her unexpected character development. We finally understand why Pet trusts Jude as wholeheartedly, what she sees in him, what draws her to him...
We fit perfectly together, if there was any indication that our bodies had been created to be together, THIS WAS IT. When we were pressed up against one another, we were absolutely, brilliantly, undeniably MEANT TO BE.
~ JUDE
AGENT DONOVAN BLAKE: Just like Pet and Jude, Agent Blake has a dangerous feeling of emptiness inside him that is lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect opportunities to jump out and envelop everyone around him in the darkness of his soul. I don't know if I dislike him or really like him. He confuses me.
PATTY WILSON: I can't believe the first thing she thinks about when she opens her eyes after being kidnapped by our famous Cascades Killer, aka CK, aka Jude, is COCAIN and not her little baby, Sarah. For some reason, I am more disturbed by this than all the limp bodies, knives and pouring blood. I wish Jude would kill her already.
With that heck of a cliffhanger, I can't wait to see how Jude will react to the newest piece of information about the love of his life...
THE WAIT FOR BOOK#4 WILL KILL ME SLOWLY, that's for sure.

4 WTF STARS! ★★★★
Holy Jude. This book is messed up on so many levels but I'm all for entirely farked up stuffs, so this was right up my alley. This was such a quick read that I enjoyed and picked up right after that nasty cliffhanger from Volume 2. We got to see more of Jude's past and the events that triggered his twisted behaviour. Honestly, my mind is still numb from the things that Jude is capable of (I still get the bejeezus creeps from bloodplay I tell ya..)
Agent Donovan still leaves me on the fence, I'm not sure entirely what his real motives are but one thing's for sure; he's as twisted and royally messed up as Jude. But what really takes the cake for me in this read is Ronnie who I initially almost couldn't care about but the unexpected twist that came with her character definitely took me by surprise.
Aaand it ends with a damn cliffy again, GAH! With a huge revelation, FML. Well on the bright side, the next instalment is the last one, so only one more round of keeping me on the edge of my seat.

5 Disturbing Stars!
WOW. OMG. OK. SO. YEAH. This series just keeps getting better and better. As the plot thickens, the twistedness unfolds, and the characters explode with dark desires. I'm hooked. I finished this one with my mouth wide open, giggling like and lunatic, and completely satisfied. My dark heart is complete, right now.
Just when you think these two can't get any more disturbing, depraved, disturbing. They twist it up and shock me yet again. I'm glad I noticed other people's five star ratings, because I'm starting to wonder if MAYBE I need some professional help, or maybe the authors and us fans could seek help together. Group therapy maybe. I'm afraid they might lock us up.
I applied the slightest amount of pressure to the girl’s flesh and watched with detached fascination as the blood welled up under the blade. It was like painting, I was the artist.
Jude is walking a fine line. Trying to keep his urges under control, using victims to keep pet alive. I had no idea what was to come. I mean, I am shocked. Veronica isn't what I expected, she isn't what anyone expected. The FBI is closing in on Jude, the head Agent may be just has psychotic as Jude is. I haven't a clue how this series will end. Will there be a twisted HEA? I mean, the ending shocked the fucking Shit out of me. I'm so sick in the head, I still think Jude and Ronnie can have a good ending together, no matter how disturbing that might sound. I'm intrigued with FBI agent, I wonder of he makes it out alive, can we get a story for him? I'm dying for the next book. Dying. Anyway, I'm hoping Jude gets his HEA. He's so dreamy, he could be my soul mate. How could you not love his dark poetry...
"My heart did a little lurch in my chest and at that moment I knew that without a doubt, this was love. I loved her more than anything else in that instant. I needed to freeze that, bottle it up, and pull it out to snort a little when she irritated me."

5 OMFG STARS

Este es el volumen que más me ha sorprendido. Por supuesto me encanta Jude, y el triángulo que se creó con Donovan es genial, eso no traerá nada bueno para nadie. Pero creo que Ronnie se llevó lo mejor del libro, fue genial ver la evolución del personaje, honestamente en los 2 primeros libros no vi ese potencial que aquí nos mostró, the bitch is crazy. Me encantan las protagonistas que son tan listas como para ser capaz de fingir ser estúpidas con tal de conseguir lo que quieren.
El final, fue súper OMG.
Ha sido el peor cliffhanger de la serie, pero estamos hablando de FUCKIN PSYCOPATS no creo que un poco de incesto les resulte molesto.

I CANNOT EVEN RIGHT NOW.
Oh, my god.
This series...every time I think it cannot possibly get more fucked up, it totally does. And I mean that in the best way possible.
Well, this installment was full of surprises!
The good news: the cliffhanger from the last book is fully explained. I was ready to bang my head against the wall after I finished the last one, and although I would have liked to see more of Pet's reaction to that particular revelation, I thought it was sort of perfect for this couple.
I liked the development of Ronnie's character in this volume! I won't say too much about it, but you'll see.
This book, probably more than any of the other books in this series, is NOT for the faint of heart! At all. There is so much WTF-ery in this book...I mean, all of the WTF-ery. All of it. It really hooks you though--this series is one that, every time I pick up the new installment, I have to read it all in one sitting. There's no "this is the last chapter for tonight" when it comes to Serial.
If you haven't started this yet, and you like crazy, dark WTF-ery, then what are you waiting for? Just be warned: it's an erotic serial killer thriller. Expect everything.

Let's be honest here...
I'm a huge Lily White and Jaden Wilkes fan and when a new book comes out, I'm usually front and center, fangirling with the rest of of them but let's be honest here... This just isn't the same high quality as we're used to seeing. Jude is still a riveting psychotic character that sucks you in and has you turning pages but as much as I loved him, there are issues that just can't be overlooked. First, and most surprising, editing--word choice was a big problem, things that a spell check won't catch. Relent is not the same as resent and mistakes like this had me rereading several passages. Also, the timeline is off. I won't ruin the twist for you, but it's impossible for it to happen if Yolanda worked for Jude's family when it says she did. The switches from first to third person got a little tricky too. In the end, I'm still a die-hard fan... just a little surprised that this wasn't on par with their other books.

It took me a little while to finish this book..only because I feel I have to be in a more receptive mood for a sexy serial killer. This story definitely breaches my usual realm of acceptance, but that is a good thing, because this is a fucked up, beguiling, enslaving tale.
Jude and Ronnie’s relationship is veering somewhere towards idolisation, whilst the FBI are snapping at CK's, the serial killer, tail.
With multi persons POV, we are starting to get a good insight into the delusional thoughts of each of the characters, mighty flawed in every case.
Ronnie starts to show signs of behaviour acceptance, even a penchant for similar stimulation. Donovan steps over the normality line, in his determination to catch the killer, and the ultimate cliffy is launched at us. For once, I wasn’t surprised by it…I had an inkling…go me!

I LOVE THIS SERIES!
I have been patiently waiting for this to come out and when I got the arc?
I was ecstatic.
This is my favorite in the series.
Jude is such a dirty naughty man and I swooooon so hard for him.
This book had me on pins and needles the entire time.
I am so glad that this series is getting better and better as each one is written
Now lets not forget about Pet.
I was completely shocked at her.
You will be too.
I never imagined in a million years what is discovered about her.
Let me just say----
Hold on to your blanky because it is dark, and just so darn good.

Can I say Suprise?!! I mean seriously! These 2 authors just took me to a whole new level with this installment. Every time I think things couldn't get any more twisted or I might have a clue where it's going, wrong! Then when I'm on the edge of my seat, reading along, it ends leaving me going REALLY?? I want more...I must have more! I can't wait for the next book. You couldn't have paired 2 better authors together to give a brillant series to us readers. I can't wait to see where they take us next on this wild ride!!

HOLY FREAKING CRAZY GOOD!!!!
First off.....to the amazing authors.....YOU ROCK A STORY LINE. HOT damn....did not see a few things coming.
The FBI has closed in on Jude. Detective Blake thinks he has Jude where he wants him. What Blake doesn't plan for is his twisted feelings for Jude's Pet. Blake takes a crazy turn and well....shocks the crap out of me.
Who knew our Pet was going turn the tables on the men in this story.
Nothing more powerful than a woman out to save her man. Even knowing his truth....she creates a masterful performance. Her plan for saving Jude.....perfectly out of this world brilliant. I never imagined Pet was this level of crazy in love.
"Her blood was like warm thick water dripping down my skin, the smell of iron filled the room as air bubbled up from her lungs and out the gash on her throat."
Jude and Pet....justified crazy and so damn good together.
The police station reunion...perfection. Two psychopathic minds joined together. Watch out Detective Blake....things are going to get crazier!!

These crazy authors have just ratcheted up the heat, the darkness and depravity and I utterly LOVED IT!!! At the end, I wanted to yell at them, “How dare you leave me there!”
Agent Donovan Blake and his team have felt like they have been closing in on CK aka The Cascades Killer. Add into that, Jude had gotten a little sloppy in his desperation to find an outlet that would help him keep Pet (Ronnie) alive. There have been minute clues left behind, but if there are many, they could add up and that’s usually what trips up criminals. Agent Blake is realizing more about himself and that he is somewhat of a predator and has commonalities with the man he is hunting.
Jude and Pet’s relationship is somewhat normalizing the longer they are together. But Jude still needs his outlet of killing & sexually abusing victims in order to keep himself from killing Pet. But there are times that Pet just annoys him, though he realizes that she loves him dearly and he loves her as well.
There are several twists and turns and I’m not sure exactly where these ladies are heading with this story, but I also don’t care! I’ve hooked my train car to their engine and if they drive it off a cliff, I’m going over the edge too!! I hope they write quick because I can’t wait for the next one!

Holy crap…these two women are going to KILL me before this series is done!!! I love, love, love everything I have gotten my hands on by each of them but together they are a force to be recon with!!!
Jude starts to show a softer side in this installment and you finally get a little more background to the rougher side of his very privileged background…as well as his past with Ronnie. I LOVE Jude…completely and utterly, damaged and all.
I completely and totally hate with every ounce of my being Agent I-am-a-total-fluid-stain-in-a-seedy-hotel who honestly doesn't deserve a name. Ronnie…I have been on the fence with her from the beginning teetering between feeling bad for her and wondering how the hell she could be so stupid, trusting, and oblivious to the world around her….until now. OMG!!! She took me by surprise in a way I am still having a hard time grasping!
This series has been hard, dark, depraved, and not for the weak of heart from the beginning but holy hell…it keeps getting better and better for someone like me who loves that kind of stuff! I know, there might very well be something wrong with me…if there is I am totally owning it and will have my one-clicker hovering in anticipation for volume 4!!!
Jude starts to show a softer side in this installment and you finally get a little more background to the rougher side of his very privileged background…as well as his past with Ronnie. I LOVE Jude…completely and utterly, damaged and all.
I completely and totally hate with every ounce of my being Agent I-am-a-total-fluid-stain-in-a-seedy-hotel who honestly doesn't deserve a name. Serial, Volume Three , by Lily White and Jaden Wilkes
YES I am going to 5 star this bitch!
Okay, hmmmm, wow, I JUST finished this book THIS SECOND and I needed to get my review done while I was STILL feeling just how FUCKED up I was. I mean just when I thought NOTHING can really affect me anymore these two authors prove me wrong! I’m sitting here shaking my head as I write this and like an idiot the only thing that keeps coming out of my mouth is “hmmmm WOW” This episode (and yes that’s what this feels like to me and EPISODE) is BY FAR the BEST one of the series. And I am so glad, because to be completely honest (which I always am) when I started it I remember thinking what else can these two possibly come up with. WELL SHUT ME RIGHT THE FUCK UP! This was sick, demented PERFECTION. A quick, jaw dropping experience is the best way I could describe it and yet again I just don’t know who is more demented in this series. And WHY for the love of God do I like it?!? And WHY do I like where they are going with this??? Because it’s BALLSY and WARPED and UNEXPECTED! And I LOVED it!

Oh My, MotherFUCKING GOD !!!!! I'll give this 10 stars if I can!
How can I sum up my emotions? Like seriously, Jaden Wilkes and Lily White are couple of brilliantly sick sick sick, filthy wicked women!!!
When you thought you had the characters all figured out, you are all of a sudden thrown off the rails! OMFG I was screaming in the basement when I hit the end of the chapter, ran upstairs to fucking type this review!!!
My heart is still racing, it's a major cliffy but man was it ever awesome! I couldn't ask for a better twist than that! Like shit!
Please tell me I don't have to wait that long for the next one?!!?!?!!!

Yet another twisted and shocking installment of Serial by Jaden Wilkes & Lily White
Not for the light of heart, this book is brutal, bloody, & raw.
I'd say prepare yourselves... but it's impossible ... so many twists & turns you'll never see them coming. Forget about what you think you know. Forget what you're expect to happen. What makes this book so good is its unpredictability! Volume Three is chock full of twists you'll be dying (see what I did there) for Volume Four.
Jude, Pet, the Detective... the characters are flourishing...madness is everywhere.This portion of Serial is jaw dropping

I was given an ARC of this book. Serial Volume 3 by Lily White is the continuation of Jude and Pet. This story is now being told through the eyes of the other players in the story. When I finished the last book I was wondering exactly where was the author going in to go with this book. Boy by the time I got to the end of the last page I was floored. Can you say I didn’t see that coming! I am chomping at the bit as to how the author is going to write the final book. My brain is definitely working overtime on how, what and when. There are more twist and turns to this story with the installment of Jude, Pet and the FBI. Cannot say enough how this story has morphed into something even sicker and more twisted than how this story started. Loved it! Till the next time

I loved this series from the start and it just keeps getting better!! In this Installment, we see a a slightly softer side to Jude but that just lulls you into a false sense of security and we find out that Ronni isn't all she seems to be either. This is maybe the best yet and I take my hat off to Lily and Jaden for a job well done and managing to keep me hanging on to every word. This is full of surprises and a must read everyone.

dnf at 50% .I was halfway through before thinking 'why in fu%ks name am I still reading this?' Usually I have a soft spot for a sexy serial killer - but this guy is disgusto and uninteresting and so is his like-minded girlfriend and the warped-minded cop....It feels like this book is leaning towards shock-value instead of good story. Read way too much about the smell of warm shit....
