In the near dark future the Earth has destroyed itself in a nuclear war, and the remaining colonies on the hostile surface of Mars find themselves isolated and cut off from the life-line of their home-world. After an ordinary patrol is complete, the remnants of the US Army’s Special Operation Platoon ‘Krieger’ respond to an unusual distress call from a lone town on the frontier. When the soldiers arrive, they find the town eerily abandoned and without a trace of its inhabitants. As the soldiers delve into the truth, they are flung into a ring of corruption and betrayal that has them outlawed and hunted by their own command. Now in a fight for their very lives, they quickly discover the lines between treachery and patriotism are much more convoluted than they would seem.
