Starting with Roman Markov, the story was good. After that it got WAAAAY to violent putting Kara down over and over again. It got repetitious and ugly.

Plot: 2.5/5 - Spice: 4/5 ————> I wanted to like this so bad. There were moments when I really thought we were going somewhere and then it would plateau again. It kept going like that throughout the whole book.


I’m all for spice. Spice up your life. I love it, but this was one of those reads where every couple pages was a smut scene. Maybe I just wasn’t up for that today, Idk?


I liked the bothers are a whole. Each of them brought something different to the table. but as a whole read? not for me.

I had a hard time with this story. I hate duets but since most of this authors books are good i was willing to chance it to see how things played out.
While it did list rough, intense scenes the author went beyond that into non consent and anal grape then wrote the most ridiculous reaction by the female lead imaginable. The entire scene wasn’t realistic from a medical and physical standpoint nor from an emotional one by a female in this situation. Her point of view during the event was utter nonsense.
Kara is being forced by a huge powerful conglomerate to be an agent and get info out of the three Markov brothers. She has no choice but comply or she could be killed. She starts with Roman who is the only male who treats her decently for the most part. Then Lev who she went to boarding school with years ago figures out her identity and breaks in forcing himself on her as punishment for what she did with Roman and because he’s always been jealous of her, but she doesn’t fight him because secretly she’s always been attracted to him and wanted him. But then he takes it too far and in my opinion grapes her anally. She says no twice and tries to physically get away but he overpowers her then author writes a ridiculous response to the event. Afterwards he takes her with him restrains and gags her and again grapes her in the car with no concern for her pain. They are nearly killed and archeon rescues her from police station and takes her to a safe location. But then the last brother Dimitri manages to get to her and he forces himself on her while trying to convince her to join them instead and fight archeon together while all three brothers share her. Events happen, they are kidnapped, but while tied up Dimitri of course finds time to use her sexually again while tied to a chair rather then free them from the situation so they dont get free. another faction gets involved who seem willing to help fight archeon but she’s kidnapped again by archeon who want her dead at this point, where she has to fight for her life and save herself. Then the 3 brothers get her back and the entire story Kara is used by them as nothing more than an object. They are rough, put her down, call her disgusting degrading names, and bait each other to be even rougher with her. There is no feelings for her beside lust and desire to punish her except when she is kidnapped to be killed where they are concerned for her life. U see no evolution of developing feelings between any of them, no softening in their dealings with her and no aftercare. The men are harsh, selfish, controlling and nasty. Then suddenly they are saying they all love her yet their behaviour doesn’t change. Dimitri and Roman barely know her and have very limited interaction beyond a few sex scenes so how do they suddenly love her? They haven’t spent any Amt of time with her beyond stressful kidnapping or when using her sexually to know the person she really is. It’s ridiculous and just stupid.
When all three brothers finally manage to share her between them she is again told they are having her at the same time whether she likes it or not showing they still don’t care about her let alone love her, that her wants mean nothing to them and the degrading talk continues. But the author again writes that of course Kara an intelligent, educated independent woman just LUVS it all and is willing to accept whatever scraps they give her. Once again no aftercare which is the biggest signal that she’s just a sperm dumpster to them and no true love exists. It was repetitive and ugly.
I’m not sure if I can stomach the second book to see if the author improves the story at all and all of this suffering by Kara eventually leads to something wonderful and these brothers actually caring for and valuing her as the woman she is or just more treating her like crap.
Seems this story was written more for shock value and extreme sexual fantasy rather than a realistic story of how this 4 some came together at first on opposite sides but then united in a common goal while falling in love together.
Very disappointed in this book. this could have been a fabulous story with a realistic progression of harsh brothers and first rough, lustful treatment which evolved into spicy intense but loving sex with some warm aftercare to show her that maybe this could work between 4 ppl, without all the degradation which is a real turn off. Big difference between dirty talk during sex and calling a woman the most degrading, insulting, and demeaning names u could use, using her for your own gratification then leaving her laying there as u walk away no concern for how she’s doing when finished.
A wild cliffhanger leaves the reader excited to see what happens in bk 2 and if the faction they’ve partnered with can be trusted and How they will all free themselves from the powerful archeon which has unlimited money, power, and resources.
And what will happen between the 4 while freeing Kara from whatever archeon is holding over her head.

That was a mistake because now she's in their sight and once they see something they want they take it. Since they had a history together he wanted to be the one to hunt her down. They captures her and they all took turns with her body giving her a punishment with hot punishing fuck giving her pleasure that she had never had before. Once the brothers found out what she was after and that she was stuck under ARCHEON, they promised to protect because they now consider her as their own. But it will not be as easy as she thinks, and they will have to go up against the organization. They will be bombing, kidnapping, action, steam and so much more. Will the brothers be successful in getting her away from ARCHEON? Will they get their HEA? Will ARCHEON get their hands on the brothers data?

Kara Lennox was given a job to do. She was to get access for ARCHEON. Her target Roman Markov. The passion their share is hot but the guilt rides her. When Lev and Dmitri Markov discover that she drugged Roman, it is time to show her who is in charge. Lev remembers Kara. She was a brat and he is going to make her understand that you never mess with a Markov. When she is finally brought in by the brothers, things change. She will give them what they need to find out who ARCHEON is. But she is only a pawn to the company. But the punishment and passion with the brothers will curb her, maybe.

So, we have a group called ARCHEON controlling Kara. The Markov brothers’ find out, through her, what this group wants. She is given a chance at every turn but ARCHEON seems to be one step ahead. Then we have Revenant Group. Who are these guys? What do they want? I wonder if they are all in over their heads. This is like a game of eye spy. The Dragunov Bratva come into play as well. You never know who to trust in this one. The chemistry with Roman, Lev, Dmitri, and Kara is explosive. You think that Kara is saved from ARCHEON but at every turn they seem to have a tracker on her. We are also left on a cliffhanger. I got to read a sneak peak and it seems there is more to the Dragunov family. It is hard not to give too much away.

First, let me preface this by saying I like Sara Fields style of writing. I like her books quite a bit. I'm not sure what happened on this one. This is Kara and the Markov brothers book. First, I HATE Duets. Edit and you'll have one great book. This is book one of a duet and while it started pretty good but a bit confusing, I tried valiantly to give it a go. Then I noticed the number of times I stopped to look at how much further I had to go in the book. It dragged. Things were constantly repeated depending on which brother was the subject. There were too many non-necessary aspects that took away from the attempt to have the reader feel the connection between the characters. The business side was convoluted with unnecessary repeats and information that simply ground the story to a halt and bogged it down. As of now, I'm not sure I want to subject myself to part two.

Normally the author has the ability to make the reader see and understand the characters. To despise the bad guy. Understand what makes them tick. The story was bogged down so much that the writer failed. I kept thinking that once they got at least two of the brothers together, then it would be the normal writing were the story flowed. Then another left turn. The author needs to reedit, take out a bunch of the unnecessary repetition, and work on the flow. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Simply captivating read, wonderful characters and a strong family plot that held me captivated
Kara Lennox had been hunted down by the three brothers and none of them were typical boyfriend material, they were all super dominant characters and they had all taken her and punished her in a variety of ways and she knows that they are not simply going to let her go.
Now that they have all taken her, she realises that they are all very different characters and they each are determined to both punish her body and also then to use her body for her own pleasure and then more especially for their pleasure.
They are a simply unimaginable presence in her life and I am sure that they will each thoroughly enjoy every moment of this book, the characters and the actual plot is a captivating read and I am sure that others will be as captivated as I was by this wonderful read.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Expect the unexpected in this dark romance!
I fell in love with “Kara-with-a-K” as she wraps Roman around her little finger and into his bedroom. Yet what follows between them is hard for her to finish the job for ARCHEON and leaves Roman in a compromising position that his brothers task him on. When Lev discovers who the mystery woman was in the red dress, he relives a moment from his time at school where Kara surprised him and sets out to find her location. To say that Lev makes a grand entrance into Kara’s life wouldn’t be wrong, and what follows is hot and steamy until their time together ends abruptly. Which is where Dmitri takes over and finds Kara isolated on a yacht and for sure, you’ll be fanning yourself until they escape to the sea to reach land. What follows next is complicated as Revenant enters the picture who wants to destroy ARCHEON and use Dmitri and Kara as collateral while ARCHEON use Lev. It comes down to Roman to work his magic and you’ll be hoping that Kara will escape ARCHEON’s tentacles, so she can live her life with the three men!

Trying to infiltrate a Bratva empire and seducing Roman was a bold move, but Kara's exit strategy was clearly non-existent. The shift from a simple information heist to a intense manhunt made for a fairly aggressive pace. Dimitri is the kind of leader who does not take kindly to being a mark, and adding Lev into the mix just made Kara's life significantly more complicated. I appreciated that Kara actually had some professional drive instead of just being a blank slate for the brothers to possess. The dynamics between the three men felt distinct enough that it did not just feel like the same character copied three times. There were moments where the sheer level of obsession felt a bit repetitive, but the constant external threats kept the tension high. I did roll my eyes at how easily she was tracked down after being built up as a pro. The cliffhanger ending was predictable for a duet, yet it still left me annoyed enough to want the next installment immediately. It is definitely on the darker side of the why choose spectrum, so do not expect any polite dating here.

First, let me start by saying how phenomenal this book was. It had me utterly captivated from start to finish. I was, literally, blown away by how unique and extremely well written this was. Do check your triggers before reading, though. If you're all good with the triggers, dive right in to this masterpiece.

So, the mfc, Kara Lennox was sent on a mission by Archeon. The mission was to get plans of drones and weapons, all created by the Markovs. In order to accomplish this, she had to drug Roman Markov. When his brothers, Lev and Dmitri learn what she's done, all bets are off, and they aim to punish her by using her body, and punish they do.

This book has twists and turns, drama, action, spice that'll make you sweat, top tier plot and characters you'll fall in love with. Everything about this story pulls you in, grips you tight and keeps you prisoner to its perfection. And goodness, that was one rollercoaster of a cliffhanger. So ready for the next book!

Kara Lennox is a woman with a mission, and Roman Markov is her target. A target chosen for her by ARCHEON, a shadow organization that used blackmail to force her into working for them. What she had no way to prepare for was the attention of all three Markov brothers. But they want her and will do anything to claim her for their own, including protecting her from the organization that will kill her when she is no longer useful to them. Very steamy menage read with three brothers sharing one woman. Spankings and rough sex, violence, suspense, and surprising twists in the plot made it hard to put this book down. Fascinating and well written characters that kept me engaged to the last page. I loved this book, but I must warn other readers that this one ends in one heck of a cliffhanger. I am already looking forward to the next book.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. This book is so action packed that it makes you forget that it is a duet. I was devastated when I got to the cliffhanger. Huge cliffhanger that will leave readers panting for the next book in the series. Kara Lennox was in Dubai to do a job. A job that she was forced to do for a company that was blackmailing her. Kara's target was Roman Markov. While with Roman, Kara was surprised to learn that she knew one of his brothers. Lev and Kara went to school together briefly. Kara got under Lev's skin the way no one could. She refused to bow down to him. Even in school the Markovs held power.

Lev could not refuse the opportunity to teach Kara a lesson for going after his brother. He had her right where he always wanted her. At least he thought he did. ARCHEON was not giving up Kara without a fight. She was one of their assets. The Markovs could not have her. Two of the Markov brothers had already claimed Kara. Now, Dmitri, the middle brother, had to step in and get things back on track. A glorious thing happen while they were busy claiming Kara, she was claiming them as well. They were a team now and needed a plan to shut ARCHEON down for good. Y'all I hate to say it but that is just a brief overview of just a few things going on in this book. There is so much more. This spicy, action-filled book will have readers engrossed in the story. The characters are relatable and will make readers care about them. I can't wait to see where this book goes next. Ms. Fields has no problem surprising readers.

Three brothers and one secret agent against the world

They ensured Kara would do their bidding. Her mission for Archeon is to steal secret plans for drones and weapons that the Markov family manufactures. She chooses the brother that is known as a partying playboy. Kara and Roman throw sparks all night. The mission goes without a hitch or so, she thought. Now she’s on the Markov brothers’ radar. Roman, is the happy go lucky guy until his brothers are in trouble, Lev the school bully knows Kara from boarding school and lastly Dmitri is all business, running the huge family and corralling his brothers. Kara needs to pick a side in the war that is accelerating. This book is on fire from the start. The book does have triggers, especially spanking. So read the warnings before you read the book. There was one bad thing about this book...it ends in a cliffhanger!

Kara is at the bar for Roman for her job. Get him to trust her so she can get data from him. But she feels something while talking to him that she shouldn’t. And the longer she’s with him the more the line in her head blurs. But then Roman is found naked outside a hotel early morning with no memory of events. However, he was seen with a woman entering his penthouse but not of her exiting. So Dmitri and Lev start searching for her. Then Lev realizes he knows her from school so he decides it’s up to him to find and punish her. Dmitri offers her protection from Archeon in exchange she belongs to all three brothers. This book is so perfectly spicy! I love me a why choose and this did NOT disappoint!! But beware- she does end on a cliffhanger. So now I’ll be waiting not so patiently for the next book to be released.

ARCHEON is blackmailing Kara to steal information about the Markov brothers' weapon manufacturing. But they catch her, and the brothers are not going to let her get away with it.

Each of the brothers had a different introduction to Kara (Lev even knew her from school), as well as unique personalities, who were all taken by her right away. The steam was great; the guys enjoyed giving punishments, and she enjoyed receiving them!

The story itself is full of mystery, suspense and drama. Just when you think things are okay, something else happens. Hopefully book 2 comes out soon, as it does end in a cliffhanger!

Wow, hot, very steamy and fast-paced right from the start. Kara is after information that the Markov brothers have for Archeon, a group that have forced her to work from them. After seducing Roman, she is caught out by Lev, who she went to school with. As they find themselves in the middle of the start of a war between Archeon and Revenant, Kara, Roman, Lev and Dmitri have decisions to make, while protecting not just family, but Kara. Jam-packed from start to finish with everything you would expect by this author, it is literally a book that leaves you on the edge of your seat and I could not put it down and shouted at the cliffhanger at the end. I am desperately waiting for the second book to find out what happens next.

OH MY HOLY HADES! Kara has definitely got herself in quite the position with
Roman, Lev and Dmitri Markov! Their journey is full of betrayals, lies, drama and chaos. Amidst it all, the four of them has found something that even the biggest enemy can't penetrate. These men and their woman take us on one heckuva journey and I loved every second of it! Now that that's done, this author drops a cliffhanger on us that had me seriously sputtering in disbelief! Yep, that's right! Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for Theirs!

It has been a while since I have read this author’s stories, and this one did not disappoint! ❤️ It is a Bratva brothers versus sly thief tale…whose image and last encounter with each of them remains inexplicably and firmly on their minds. From slick banter to mafia drama, and a secondary cast of dubious allies, we have an operative whose current situation is complicated by many entities who want her found…but it is only Roman, Dmitri, and Lev who are not yet willing to let her go. Looking forward to the second installment of this duet - watch the cliffy!

Kara is made to work for ARCHEON who want to find information on Roman Markov. One thing no one thought would happen is the hot spark between Kara and Roman. Oh when his brothers see Kara, Lev and Dmitri bring more spice and steam into the relationship.
Once these gorgeous men find out that Kara is being forced to do, their proctoring alpha and spice come to the front.
You don’t mess with a Markov. ARCHEON seems to be know where Kara is at all times.
Ohh the cliffhanger.

The characters drove the storyline and they were so very dark and possessive and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was well written and intense. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

What an epic tale! Even though Kara took from them and Markovs never let that go, there's something about Kara that tells Dimitri she's theirs. Lev and Roman know she's theirs, they just have to show her, all while battling the forces that are trying to keep them apart. I love Kara's drive as well as her ability to submit when its right. There's so much passion and hot and steamy elements as well as heart pounding danger, it kept me enthralled right to the end!.

Kara is on a job, and she's supposed to seduce Roman Markov and get the information and get out. But, the Markov brothers have other plans for Kara, and let's just say they are ott steamy. Roman, Dimitri, Lev, and Kara have crazy hot chemistry, and things are taken to a whole new, intense, steamy level. A great storyline and fun banter make this a delicious start to The Bratva Kings Duet, and after that cliffhanger, I can't wait to read the next book to find out what happens next. I love Russian mafia and this one certainly ticked all my boxes. Roman, Lev and Dmitri are three brothers with a special bond. When Kara comes into each of their lives, they know she needs to belong to them. The chemistry between them is chart topping! There’s action, mystery and so much more! What a super sexy read. Three brothers who fight and squabble with each other until Clara infiltrates their lives. Then they all agree, they all want her… unfortunately there is a cliffhanger…but still a must read.
