The Heart Killers

amazing story with heart breaking moments

... arrivati qui, però, è necessario porsi la domanda di rito presente in qualunque recensione di un prodotto audiovisivo dotato di una controparte cartacea: meglio la serie o il libro?
Per quanto mi riguarda, in considerazione di tutto ciò che ho scritto sopra e di come la struttura del romanzo risulti appesantita da una certa amatorialità alla Wattpad, non posso che schierarmi convintamente dalla parte della creatura di Jojo. Ci sono, tuttavia, due aspetti specifici di cui ho trovato la gestione più indovinata e/o curata su pagina.
Il primo di essi è quello relativo alla passione di Bison per il BDSM… che, a fronte di un drama abile a introdurla nei termini corretti, ma inspiegabilmente caustico nell’accantonarla a metà corso e nel non farne mai più cenno, nel testo si propone come filo conduttore del rapporto fra il killer e il tatuatore, pronto a emergere con prepotenza ogniqualvolta i personaggi intendano usarlo come territorio da esplorare o come mezzo per ritrovare una sintonia di coppia. Il secondo, invece, ha a che fare con la reazione dei fratelli alla scoperta del tradimento subito – reazione che se, sullo schermo, finisce per accomunare i due, su carta sceglie

Read the book several months ago after watching the series, and while it's not perfect and the English version is riddled with mistakes, I love this series and book dearly. I discovered my favorite actors because of THK, and it even got my best friend to get into them as well and has become our comfort series. The story is fun and interesting and the author did great with what they were working with based on the script. I wish so desperately that more care and time was taken to edit and revise the many mistakes in the English translation and the pacing is kinda off, but there are some funny gems that made reading it entertaining. I definitely find Fadel and Style's dynamic more compelling in the book as someone that likes fictional dangerous romances without the inherit power imbalance at play between a stereotypical cishet couple. Though KantBison are my favorite couple in the series, I have a secret special place for FadelStyle. I also love Kant's bi rep in the book and series. As a queer person leaning towards the bisexual label, seeing bi rep makes me so happy. First also plays a bi character in Only Friends and, again, I just love how these series and books make these different identities normalized because they should be normalized. I also hope to visit the Heart Burger restaurant set when I visit Thailand. I will definitely be very emotional if it happens.

Overall, I liked this story just like I enjoyed the series but there needs to be another round of edits by the proofreader. The amount of errors was quite distracting while reading.
