BOOK 2 - THE SEQUEL TO THE RHYTHMS BETWEEN US : Spice, WLW, Professional Dancers in LA, Plot Twists, and Second Chance Romance.

What should’ve been a triumphant last night of a four-month tour ended in heartbreak when Nayara Alvarez learned of Khloe Thompson’s secrets. Naya began the tour like all the rest in her career, prepared to do her job, travel the nation, and entertain any beautiful women that come her way. That was until she fell in love with Khloe Thompson, another dancer on the tour. No matter how hard Naya and Khloe tried to resist, nothing stopped the gravitational pull between them. While exploring their feelings for one another, Naya’s emotional walls were knocked down by brick by brick. Khloe’s anxiety about her career and identity slowly eased.

The last night of the Soakin’ Wet Summer Tour with world renowned R&B artist, Zion, ended in ruin, and now, Naya must navigate one of the biggest accolades in her choreography career while mending a broken heart. Khloe is left to deal with aftermath of her imploded secrets, hoping to steadily rebuild and have it all together before trying to win Naya back. But before Khloe can beg for forgiveness, the lovebirds are presented with an even larger problem—a sinister ghost from the tour looming over them.

Thank you to so much to Yoe for allowing me to be an early reader!
I cannot. I read this sequel in less than twelve hours. I honestly had to force myself to put it down so I could sleep. I am not sure what I was expecting from The Lives We Run From, but it wasn't anything close to what I just read.
Talk about plot twists galore!!. I was on the edge of my seat from part two of the book and on! Yoe does an amazing job making you want more and stayed true to the personalities of Naya and Khloe. I believe their story is an important one to tell. While some of what happened may seem far fetched, it's not and is unfortunately a reality for a lot of people in the industry and just in general. It reminded me of a certain music producer who is currently behind bars. I can only imagine we will never truly understand the level of abuse and horrific things that man has done. But The Lives We Run From is a perfect example of some of what could've gone on.
I was gasping, yelling and crying throughout the story. I don't know the author personally, but I am happy and proud of her for writing these two books. She has a forever fan in me.

What an emotional rollercoaster. From laughs, to a couple of tears, fear, and excitement, I felt everything while reading the second book of the series. I will read every book from these series. I am INVESTED.
