Grace is trapped on Earth - trapped in her father’s home where her path as a made man’s wife is dictated for her. She’s desperate for escape when her cousin convinces her to seize life by the (feathered alien) gills and try to find a match across the galaxy. Zyz is so curious about human culture and food and the messages between these two are hysterical and endearing and I fell a little in love with both characters.

When Grace escapes to Planet WLN269, can she leave her past behind her? Or will her father’s and (forced) fiancé’s long reach follow her to a new world?

This is the highest stakes novella in the series so far, and I absolutely loved it! Zyz is such an amazing male. Human men should take notes. He’s prepared, he’s patient and he will move mountains to give Grace the future and the freedom that she deserves.

Holly has quickly become a must-read author for me. You should read this ASAP.

Glowing Love

I loved the newest addition to ‘Planet WLN269 needs women’ and enjoyed the glimpse into WLN269 several years after H.E.L.P. started! I read “Alotl Love to Share” by Holly Hanzo in one delightful sitting. Besides the alien romance, there's an exciting Mafia princess on the run twist! Grace is a fierce, strong female protagonist who discovers her own strength and worth with her mate. Zyx is a wonderful, sweet, glowing, sparkly male lead, the fictional alien embodiment of “if he wanted to, he would have.” Zyx makes an effort to make Grace feel welcomed and cherished; he loves her with tender abandon and gentle, accepting depth. I would love to read about Lucia and her alien mate in a follow-up book.

Listennnn. Hear me out. I’m just as surprised as you are that I’m here for a lizardy alien dude x human woman romance. I usually have a harder time reading when my monster’s faces or bodies are too animal-like. But y’all our MMC is so endearing and I just loved him so much!!!! Their story was just so sweet and kind of made me tear up. I really FELT for our FMC.

Grace is a no-nonsense Italian American Jersey girl, about to be stuck in arranged marriage put together by her Mafioso father. Looking for comfort and a possible escape, she signs up for the H.E.L.P Dating App and matches with our sweet, slightly nerdy MMC named Zyx. He’s this bioluminescent alien dude that looks like a gecko mixed with axolotl. Has those feathery gill things and a tail. He’s so sweet and innocent with his questions, wants to learn about her and humans, and will do anything to make sure she feels safe and protected. When Grace decides to make the plunge and run away, I love how much Zyx supported her in that journey. I just love a good friends-to-lovers story and it was done so well in such a short novella. Also their spicy scenes 👀👀. Anyways. Loved it so much.

(Mafia + Aliens) * Strong opinions on pizza = the perfect supreme combination even if Zyx can't tell the difference.

This has all of the things I love about a Mafia romance, smashed up with aliens and the WlN269 universe! I really appreciated how Grace found her courage and took her destiny into her own hands. Zyx is the best partner in that sense, giving her all the time and options she needs to feel safe.

This quick read is extremely sweet, despite the heavy topic (the main character is a Mafia daughter who wants out). Zyx, the amphibian-like bioluminescent MMC, is so earnestly curious! His anthropological questions about human behavior made me giggle all the way through. I also appreciate his honest confusion about how exactly humans communicate interest without their glowing skin. Truly, it is unimaginable that we figure it out without such obvious visual cues! Great little read to cleanse your palate or take a short 1-2-hour escape from the grind.

What's a girl to do? Controlled by her Mafia father her entire life and now she's in an arranged marriage....oh hell no!!! Grace's bff suggested an alien dating app. Little does she know the lizard guy is going to be her friend.

Z is surprised when he matches with a female human, Grace. she is honest and passionate. Lovely. When he receives a msg saying she's on her way he has mixed feelings. Will she like it here? Will she stay???

This is a cute story! I love Grace and Z! They are perfect for each other.

This is a really well written novella! It has a solid setup that had me immediately invested so hard I did not put it down once until I finished! There was solid character development and great chemistry! I will read this again in a heartbeat! It also had really fun and interesting creature features and quirky uniqueness to the characters! This was a really satisfying read and I will definitely be picking up more by this author!

I would like to start by thanking Holly Hanzo and the Planet WLN269 Arc team for allowing me the chance to read this ARC. All of the thoughts and opinions shared are my own!

An alien romance with a mafia princess??? Yes please, those are some of my favourite things combined right there.

I love Zyx a whole alotl to be completely honest. What a guy. He wanted so badly to understand her and make sure that he was everything she wanted. Literally he showed more emotional capacity in this book than some men show in their whole lives. HE LEARNED TO SEW FOR HER SO SHE'D HAVE HUMAN COMFORTS. Also lets talk about him glowing, like literally glowing in correlation with his emotions. Also we want someone willing to risk death to protect the person they love. Like if they aren't willing to risk everything for you then I don't want it.

Grace was such a good character, and we got to see her figuring out who she was and what she wanted on her own terms (with support from our favourite guy). She also fell more in love with herself watching Zyx fall in love with her. I genuinely loved her development and also seeing her form friendships on the planet and find her own family.

Genuinely was just such an amazing book, and I loved every second of it because it had so much power and beauty, and glowing alien cum. Did I mention I love Zyx? Yes... okay I guess I'll go now.

I loved this one — it’s easily one of my favourites in the WLN269 series. Emotional, brave, and incredibly endearing.

Grace’s storyline is such a strong foundation for the romance. Coming from a Mafia family where her life and future are controlled gives the story real stakes. Watching her choose something different for herself feels powerful.


Zyx is an absolute sweetheart. A gecko-meets-axolotl alien who is awkward, curious about Earth customs, and deeply devoted? Yes please. His and Grace’s shared love of architecture, learning, and — most importantly — choice makes their connection feel thoughtful and layered.


The bravery in this story really stands out. Grace escaping her oppressive home to WLN269, Zyx protecting and providing for her in every way he can, and the sense of found family in Settlement 46 all create a warm but meaningful community backdrop.

This book worked perfectly for me because I love stories where romance is intertwined with freedom and self-determination. It’s not just sci-fi, not just mafia drama, not just romance — it weaves all three together seamlessly.

This is for readers who enjoy protective-but-gentle alien heroes, heroines reclaiming their autonomy, found family dynamics, and sci-fi romance with real emotional stakes.

Ok we might have one of the cutest MMC’s so far, and I don’t say that easily. Zyx is freaking adorable!! This alien is a true cinnamon roll, and an absolute total devoted nerd.

He’s the perfect match for our FMC, Grace, who’s stuck in the world of her family-The Moretti’s, a mafia family in Newark, New Jersey who is as family values and connections as they come. Grace was essentially ‘allowed’ to go to college and study Architecture, because she’d be married off to someone for a connection eventually. Then her purpose would be wife, not being Grace. Her cousin encouraged her to apply to H.E.L.P first on a whim but also, it could be her way out of this.

Grace almost feels like it’s a joke, until she matches with Zyx. An alien who’s incredibly interested and invested in her from day one. A silly, colorful, beautiful connection blooms between the two of them, and as Zyx’s first message to her states—his chromatores react to her, essentially he lights up bright just at the thought of her.

Their connection and communication is one of the brightest things during Grace’s day, she still wasn’t quite sure about going to Planet WLN269 until her father arranged a marriage for her, and she knew she had to get out. Literally only letting Zyx know she was coming in the middle of the night before going completely dark from communication , just hoping he’d be waiting for her when she got there.

From this point on, there is so much adorable found-family, adorable awkward romance (he researchers inter planet marriage law for her AND sews her plushies), and a whole lot of good spice. His 🍆 stains her and is bioluminescent and claims her as his 👀.

100% recommend this novella, and honestly will be rereading!

Ever wanted an alien mate that literally lights up when you smile? Meet Zyx, he has two… um hearts (get your mind out of the gutter you smutty earthling). But okay, yes, two of those too.

Zyx is a sexy cinnamon roll who can’t control his bioluminescence because he’s smitten. As a don’s daughter, Grace Moretti’s future is predetermined and there’s no way out. Except one. Grace plans a daring escape to meet the alien of her dreams on Planet WLN269.

This is a sweet romance thanks to an intergalactic dating app and the fact our MMC glows had me lighting up on the inside too. A little extra steam would have been nice but it’s the connection that makes this one special.

“Zyx’s doing the thing again.” “What thing?” Grace asked, though she was smiling. “The thing where he glows like a lovesick light-stick whenever you exist in his general vicinity.”

I liked the idea behind this story, but I found it severely lacking.

First off, Grace sucked. One example is when a character said "i used to do this, past tense." and then Grace was like "omg theh said 'used to' which means I totally caught them using past" like no dummy, that character literally said they used the past tense, you didn't catch them doing anything. Stuff like that happened several times. Also, Grace flip flopped a lot between being meek and lame to claiming she's a mafia princess a lot... like she wasn't consistent.

Another thing, the amount of repetitive conversation was annoying. Like Zyk would tell her something, and then within a few sentences she would ask a question that he literally just answered 5 seconds ago. Or he would say something like "i like xyz about you" and then the next paragraph Grace would say "he said he liked xyz about me" like yes, we just read that so shut up now.

Like I said before, this book could have been decent, but it lacked detail and refinement that made it over all a lack lustre read.

Alotl Love to Share by Holly Hanzo is an alien romance story between a Mafia Princess that just needs a way out, and a bioluminescent, color shifting alien that would do anything in his power to help her out and to take care of her. This story is a part of the Planet WLN269 Needs Women shared world series. This story had SO MUCH emotion, and the way that Holly wrote it, made it to where I could feel the emotion seeping off of the pages. Happiness, confusion, helplessness, love, anger, literally so much emotion. I loved this story so much! I loved the story. I loved the two main characters. I loved how Zyx did EVERYTHING he could to help her out. I literally loved everything about this story.

I 100% recommend Alotl Love to Share by Holly Hanzo. It is such a good alien romance. This whole series has been so great. And I will never stop recommending it. This was my first read by Holly Hanzo, and it definitely won’t be my last!

Grace is a daughter of a mafia don. She is at her wits end when she makes a profile on H.E.L.P. on the insistence of her friend. She looks at her first alien and doesn’t know what to think but then she reads his bio. She feels something so she messages and it gets brightly interesting from there.
Zyx is smitten from one look at her photo. She makes his chromatophores go wild. He does so much research in hopes that she will go and be his mate. He isn’t a pushy male but he is very hopeful.
She takes a chance and runs towards Zyx after only a short time. They find that they are not only compatible but he gives her the one thing no one has ever given her…
She gets so many things from him that she hasn’t gotten in her life that it is any wonder he is isn’t the perfect match for her after all.

This one made me ridiculously happy.

Grace is a straight-talking Jersey girl who has spent her whole life boxed in by her mafia-don father and expectations she never chose. Signing up for H.E.L.P. feels less like a whim and more like a quiet act of rebellion. Zyx is a full cinnamon roll hero. He researches human culture, learns skills just to make Grace comfortable, and consistently centers her choices in a way she has never experienced before. Watching Grace figure out who she is when someone finally supports her autonomy was one of my favorite parts of the story.

Warm, weird, and deeply satisfying, this felt like a perfect balance of sweetness, heat, and escape. Zyx is absolutely book boyfriend material, and Grace getting to choose her own future made this a standout WLN269 read for me.

This series is genuinely making me wish the H.E.L.P. thing was real because I am yet again, swooning over an alien. Zyx was so polite and precious. I loved the fact that he was constantly glowing because of how into Grace he was. The way he made it so clear that everything that happened or would happen between them would be her choice was so wonderful because of what she’d escaped on Earth. The steps Zyx took to ensure Grace was comfortable and happy on WLN269 made me so happy because it showed he really paid attention and how devoted he was to her. I loved that Grace really came into herself and was able to stand up for herself when she needed to (not with Zyx, he’s perfect). The spice in this was hot hot hot, Zyx has two appendages. I loved the ending of this and it was a really fun read.

He’s more than ready to show her that with him, she’ll always have the choices she deserves.

All aboard Planet WLN269, This was by far my favorite read in this universe. A short story that somehow packed in so much, you had spice, suspense, angst, found family and a whole lot of caring. Zyx is now in my book boyfriend list, he wants to truly understand Grace and humanity, make her comfortable, provide for her and most importantly give her choices. He is sexy, his colour changing luminescent qualities are intriguing and don't get me started on his package! If you're a fan of alien romances, double peen, glowing finger paint, mafia princess FMC and sweet/ protective MMC you will love this story too!

I cannot express the glee I felt when I realized this is a runaway mafia princess x alien romance.

The pure male audacity of Grace’s father publicly announcing her engagement to the son of another mafia family without even giving her a heads up made me want to punch someone. But our girl Grace played along while internally making her “no-the-F-I-am-not” plans and running straight off planet. Zyx is such a sweet consent king who puts in the effort. (The plushies! Learning interplanetary laws!) These two are so perfect for each other! I need more adventures when the definitely-wrong pets arrive.

okay yall this was a good story! like I got sucked in and was really into it! Zyx was adorable and I am proud of Grace! Super fun read, absolutely loved Zyx and his alien traits! His golden glowing when she smiles is super adorable and I just love him!

But this is book 10 or 11 of the WLN269 books I have read, and this book did not use the prequel or the small WLN269 description that is at the beginning of each of the books (this included) in the story other than very very loosely. I had to keep pausing on WLN269 facts that were not used here and question them before I could move on. If this was a stand alone, separate from the series, it would have been 5 stars from me. As a part of a series that has a clear background established, this story going so far off really bothered me.

This is where Grace makes a decision about her future she goes on the H.E.L.P app and matches with Zyx who is the most sweetest alien to her. Grace feels trapped at home, the mafia Princess who has never has a choice but with Zyx he gives her one thing her heart desires and that is choice💕

I love how the connection built between Grace and Zyx and how I think for the first time Grace has someone who sees who she truly is, brave, strong and determined to have a better life and she gets that with Zyx. He will never demand anything from her, he will wait for her and above all he gives her the freedom to choose.

This is honestly such an endearing read. A Mafia princess runs away to WLN269 after finally finding someone, an adorable male alien named Zyx, who offers her the choices she needs to find her own happiness.

The drama is light but adds just the right amount of excitement to this romantic found-family novel, and the spice level is low but it's so so sweet. Grace and Zyx have the best, most understanding relationship and they're just adorable together, their chats feel so natural and soft that I was actively rooting for them the moment they started chatting on the H.E.L.P. app. Such a nice read!

Mafia princess in space? Not a statement I thought I would be reading but what else was Grace to do once forced into a corner by her father. Despite the mafia being involved, this is all still very low angst.

Grace is strong enough to get herself out of the situation and Zyx is ready to catch her. Zyx is one of the most unique characters I ever heard of and a cutie ta boot. I can't get over his color changing or luminescent "spill". And he is double packing. Grace leveled up getting the man who will do anything for her, wait while doing it, mark her pretty, and double the pleasure.

Grace, a mafia princess is being forced into a marriage she doesn't want. In order to escape she signs up for H.E.L.P. and meets Ryx.

I really enjoyed their relationship. How Ryx just wanted to give Grace the choices she never had. I'm also a sucker for a good book relating to the mafia.

Ryx put in so much effort to make Grace happy, did everything she could want just because he wanted to see her smile.

Good quick read and a great addition to the Planet WLN269 books.

Absolutely fun and quick read in the Planet WLN269 series.  Loved how the daughter of a mafia family runs from an arranged marriage  to end up on Planet WLN269 with an alien similar to an axolotl.  The MMC has bioluminescent fluids and takes pride rubbing it all over his new mate during spicy time. 
While this book does have a lot of spice, the MMC brings the sweetness with a found family dinner to make his new mate feel more comfortable and remind her of home. 
Highly recommended for anyone who loves quick spicy alien romances with lots of humour.

I loved the mafia family angle. So many of the ladies on H.E.L.P. are running from something and Grace isn’t different but her situation is somewhat more pressing than most of the others. I like the bit of angst and action it brings to the story.

Zyx is such a sweet nerd and his curiosity is endearing. He’s a goner right from the get go and has no way to control himself at all. Especially since it’s all there written on his biology. Grace makes everything about him glow. EVERYTHING.

This is so far the best out of all the books I read in this whole series!
I loved that besides the usual mating storyline that all books share, this story has that suspense plot as the main attraction in this book.
Grace is such a strong and lovable person, risking it all for freedom of choice.
Zyx is such an adorable and fierce mate.
Also loved how in the end everything and everybody that mattered came together.

These books all make my heart so warm and fluffy. All of the different aliens have their own unique traits, along with their own unique personalities. All the FMCs in this series come from different backgrounds and thoughts. I love how easily they seem to make a connection. Although, I'm sure the H.E.L.P vets them haha. Overall, lovely novella, HEA guarenteed and so much fun inside. Go check it out!
