His obsession.
My amnesia.
The perfect combination for him to make me his.

GINA

The moment my eyes meet Tommaso Santoro’s, my entire universe tilts on its axis. I’m a nobody in our mafia world, and he’s born and bred to rule it. Yet he calls me his sun–il mio sole–and against all logic, my heart, body, and soul recognize him as their other half.

Then I wake up in the hospital with no memories, with Tommaso by my side, telling me I’m his wife. Even without remembering him, I know I love this man, and I can feel his love for me. Until the truth and his lies shatter the beautiful illusion.

He promised he’d never break me…

But this? I may not survive this.

TOMMASO

To those in my world, I’m ruthless but fair. A morally gray king who rules with control. I let them see the power, never the man beneath the suit.

Until I see her.

Light radiates from Gina like she’s the sun. My sun. Il mio sole. From the moment our eyes meet, I know our souls are forever entwined. She’s the only one who sees all parts of me, and I give her everything.

The problem? A blood contract that binds me to another woman. Breaking it would start a war and put Gina directly in the crosshairs.

But nothing will take her from me. Not her amnesia. Not the truth. Not when my lies bring my carefully laid plans crashing down.

Because Gina is mine. My sun. My light. My queen.

My entire reason for being.

And I will burn the world to the ground to keep her.

Dive into the prequel of the Santoro Mafia series, where Tommaso and Gina—the parents of Creed, Vito, and Massimo—begin it all. This is the origin story of the unbreakable loyalty and fierce devotion to family that defines the Santoro name and continues on through their sons. Tommaso and Gina’s is a love story that forges an empire, and their legacy will live on through the Santoro generations to come.

Okay, I had been hearing about Lora Nox in so many mafia bookish groups that when I finally saw this book, I knew I had to pick it up. And let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions!🙌🏼

I absolutely loved Tomasso and Gina. The way they slowly accept their feelings and become ready to fight the world for each other was everything I want in a mafia romance. Their connection felt genuine, intense and emotional in all the right ways 💕

And can we talk about the amnesia trope? It was done so well! It added just the right amount of angst and tension without feeling overdone. The writing was engaging, the plot kept me hooked and the spice was perfectly balanced with the story🤌🏼

This isn’t an overly dark mafia romance, but do check the TWs before reading 🚨 Even so, it strikes a great balance between grit and romance.

Although this is a prequel to the series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. You won’t feel lost at all. Now I’m heading back to read the rest of the series because I definitely need more from this world!

The story follows Tomasso, a powerful mafia don who falls in love and becomes obsessed with Gina at first sight. Gina is fierce, rebellious, and refuses to be seen as the elegant princess others expect her to be. This book is a prequel to the Santoro Series.

Tomasso is unhinged, lethal, and feared by everyone around him yet with Gina, he reveals a softer, deeply possessive side that no one else ever gets to see. Gina is unapologetically savage and strong, never backs down and never fears him. Their connection feels raw and genuine that even after losing her memory, she trusts only him, without knowing who he truly is.
The chemistry between Tomasso and Gina was intense, raw, and impossible to ignore. The writing is gripping and fast-paced, making the story incredibly addictive.

Overall, If you love dark romance filled with obsessive love, emotional intensity, and powerful character dynamics, then this book is for you.

This is the story of the creation of the Santoro dynasty and describes the love of Gina and Tommaso, the parents of Creed, Vito and Massimo.

The book was exciting, tense, emotional, it described all the trials that the main characters of the book had to go through.

I enjoyed it and the book has all the recommendations from me.

ーー

„ I walk back to my car, and I smile as she sputters in anger, her voice carrying over the distance. "You're an asshole, Tommaso Santoro." I turn and face her. "I love you, too, Gina Caruso." Her face goes slack with shock, but l'm grinning.

Because that is what became crystal clear to me moments before. She's mine, and I will find a way to keep her. Not as my mistress or as some dirty little secret.

But as my queen."

Tommaso is a mafia romance with arrange marriages and unexpected love. This is Tommaso and Gina’s story which is a prequel to the Santoro Mafia series! I love how we get the Parents story and a glimpse of how protective/obsessed Tommaso is towards his true love. Gina is such a spitfire character that has been hurt by her own family, but once meeting Tommaso she feels the instant connection. I love how connected they are even when the family’s are planning something behind them. I also love how caring Tommaso is when help Gina, and how easily his brothers and family came into their life. Their story is filled with mafia arrangements, deceit, and twists that will have you at the edge of your seat. I really enjoyed their story and can’t wait to read more.

I voluntarily leave an honest review of this gifted advance reader copy.

Tomasso and Gina’s story is the origin story of Lora Nox’s Santoro Mafia family series, it doesn’t need to be read prior to those books. It’s a he fell first, fast and forever, with an amnesia trope twist. The storyline keeps you guessing from the very beginning about what his father’s hiding, who is part of the human trafficking ring etc. It also has fantastic characters that the author has from several of her other stories. The heat level is 5🌶️’s and is open door, so you have been warned. Also death of a loved one happens and is mentioned several times. This is a mafia love story done right ! 5✨’s. Tomasso and Gina’s story was complicated and beautiful. I don’t usually love the amnesia trope, but it worked perfectly to further the plot in this story. Tomasso quickly went from unfeeling to obsessed the minute he saw Gina walk through the door in her imperfect state. I loved that she was headstrong and so did Tomasso. Their story had some upsetting moments, but it all worked out in the end. I was so glad that Tomasso’s father didn’t end up being who he appeared to be for a majority of the story. The epilogue was so satisfying with Gina getting the big family, filled with love, that she always craved and deserved. I might have to go read their son’s stories now that I know this is a prequel 👀 This is perfect if you’re looking for some insta-love, mafia spiciness.

ARC Review, thx Lora Nox

This dark romance is the prequel to Santoro Mafia. In typical Lora Nox style, the storyline contains everything a reader could want: banter, suspense, emotion, and smut.
I read the book in one sitting and highly recommend it.
The only thing that isn't really my thing is the amnesia trope.

Tommaso is the origin story of the Santoro empire—a fierce, emotional beginning that shows how Gina and Tommaso became the backbone of the dynasty and the kind of parents who would one day raise Creed, Vito, and Massimo. Knowing the men their sons grow into makes this prequel even more powerful, because you finally see where that relentless Santoro intensity was born.

From the first chapter, the story pulses with urgency and longing. Tommaso is not a gentle hero—he is commanding, territorial, and utterly certain once Gina has claimed his heart. He operates in a brutal world and handles threats without mercy, yet when it comes to her, his devotion is absolute. There’s something magnetic about the contrast: a man capable of violence who would level everything to keep one woman safe. That unwavering loyalty is what makes him compelling rather than simply dangerous.

Gina, however, is far from a passive presence in his shadow. Even when life strips her of certainty, even when she wakes without her memories, there’s a quiet strength guiding her. The amnesia element adds a sharp emotional edge—she doesn’t remember their history, yet her heart still leans toward him. That invisible thread between them creates a steady tension that runs through the entire novel. Instinct clashes with doubt, and every interaction feels loaded with unspoken history.

What stood out most is how emotionally layered the story feels. Yes, it carries the trademarks of dark mafia romance—power, obsession, possessiveness—but beneath that is a deep exploration of trust and sacrifice. The connection between them isn’t built solely on dominance or desire; it’s forged through hardship, impossible choices, and the kind of love that demands everything.

The chemistry is intense, but it’s the emotional gravity that lingers. You understand how this couple becomes the foundation of a dynasty defined by fierce loyalty and the unspoken rule: protect what’s yours at any cost. The seeds of that legacy are planted here.

For readers who gravitate toward mafia romances with powerful, morally gray heroes, resilient heroines, and a love story that feels all-consuming, this book delivers. It stands solidly on its own while enriching the larger Santoro saga. Just be sure to check the content notes beforehand—this world doesn’t shy away from darkness.

Tommaso is the prequel to The Santoro Mafia Series. Lora Nox knows exactly how to write men who ruin you in the best way.

Tommaso is intense, possessive, and unwavering once his heart is claimed. From the start, you can feel how deeply he connects to Gina, even when circumstances make everything complicated. He’s dangerous, protective, and absolutely willing to burn the world down for the woman he loves even when loving her means making impossible choices. He is very much that kind of MMC, and I loved every second of it. There’s a quiet brutality to him, but also a deep, unwavering devotion that makes him impossible to resist. You can very much see where the all three Santoro Brothers got the “I will destroy anyone who touches what’s mine” energy from.

Gina is not some fragile bystander. She has strength, heart, and a resilience that sneaks up on you. There’s a softness to her, but also an inner strength that quietly shines through. She may not always see it herself, but her resilience and heart make her the perfect counterbalance to Tommaso’s darker edges. Their chemistry is undeniable, and the emotional pull between them kept me fully invested from beginning to the end.

What I really enjoyed about this book is how emotional it is. It’s not just about obsession or power it’s about connection, trust, and the lengths someone will go to protect the person who becomes their everything. My heart clenched more than once, but that emotional weight is exactly what makes this story hit so hard.

If you love dark mafia romance with an obsessed MMC, strong emotional tension, and a story that stays with you after the last page, Tommaso is the book for you. This book fits perfectly into the Santoro world while still standing strong on its own.

As always, be mindful of the trigger warnings, what I like, you may not.

Happy reading! 📖✨

Tommaso was my first book by Lora Nox and only my second mafia dark romance (my first being Shantel Tessier), since I usually gravitate towards romantasy. This genre is still new territory for me — but Lora made it incredibly easy to dive in and completely lose myself in the story.

The amnesia trope can be very hit or miss, and I was a little cautious at first. The same goes for tropes like age gap, virgin FMC, and the classic “he takes care of her” dynamic — all of which can easily slip into cliché territory. But here? They didn’t. Nothing felt repetitive or shallow. Everything felt intentional and emotionally grounded.

I absolutely loved Tommaso’s intensity — his devotion is fierce, consuming, and unmistakable. Yes, he’s extremely overprotective, but it never diminishes Gina. And that’s what I appreciated most. Gina has attitude, backbone, and fire. She can literally hold her own (and throw a punch), which makes their dynamic feel balanced rather than one-sided.

I’m not usually the biggest fan of instant love (I’m a slow-burn girl at heart), but here it worked. The connection felt powerful in a way that suited both the characters and the mafia world perfectly. Once I started reading, I genuinely couldn’t put it down.

If this is my introduction to Lora Nox and the Santoro saga, I’m officially hooked. I’ll definitely be continuing.

Thank you to Lora Nox for providing me with an advanced copy as part of the ARC team — I’m so glad I got to experience this story early.

I enjoyed the book. I love how the mmc will do anything for her. I also love how protective he is of her. This is a mafia age gap insta love story with secrets and obstacles in their way of being together. The only thing I wasn't a fan of in the book was how often the fmc smacks the mmc. It wasn't like a whole lot, like maybe 3–4 times, but still way to many. Other than that, it's a good read.

Gina has come home from school. She was shipped off to boarding school and hasn't been home much, and when she arrives, her parents are not the same people. Something has changed. She can tell her father is hiding things, and she knows it can't be good. While she is home, she meets Tommaso and feels an instant attraction to him and can't believe someone like him would want her.
Tommaso is a don and when he sees Gina, he instantly knows he wants more from her. The only problem is that he's already engaged to another and not by choice. After seeing her, he knows he has to find a way to make her his. They get to know each other and start to fall in love, but then something terrible happens, and she looses her memory. Now she doesn't remember him or how she got hurt. Tommaso lies to keep her safe and in his life. No matter the cost. Can Tommaso find a way to get out of the arranged marriage? What happens when Gina finds out she has been lied to?

Tomasso is part of a mafia family and is expanding his empire in California. Just as his father arranges a marriage for him with the daughter of another mafia don, he becomes reacquainted with Gina, the daughter of man that he cannot stand. Gina is not a true mafia princess, but has been educated as one. She is however, not afraid to speak her mind. Once the connection between Tomasso and Gina is realized, they fight for their lives to stay together despite those closest to them working against them.

I’m sometimes weary of prequels that are written after a series as I hold them to a higher standard as all of the other details of the series have been thrown out into the world. However, there is no reason to worry with this book. Tomasso and Gina’s story may be the most powerful of the entire series. It packs a punch and pulls on your heartstrings. It had all of the elements of a dark mafia romance that I love. I especially loved the instant attraction and connection between Tomasso and Gina. Their love is truly the kind that everyone dreams of finding. One of the things I love most about Mafia romances is the family closeness/connection. This story does not disappoint and I would have to say is my absolute favorite of the series!

Lora Nox just set the standard for writing prequel. And a love story. Simple as that. Was I suspicious when she told me she was going to write his story? Thought was a big mistake but at the end she proved me wrong. This book has a special place in my shelves and it’s the best in 2026 so far. Not sure anyone will be able to dislodge it from first rank. If you have one book to read this year, i highly recommend reading this one because she will ruin all of them.

⭐ 5 stars | 🌶️ Spice: 3/5

I read Havoc’s Defenders last year and really enjoyed it, but this prequel to the Santoro Mafia series? It just convinced me I need to read the entire series immediately.

Tommaso… listen. He gives me Tobias Mitchell vibes (I’m sorry), but less unhinged toward the FMC. He’s protective, devoted, and absolutely dotes on Gina. The way he loves her? Intense but steady. Powerful but tender. I ate it up.

I also really appreciated that the spice never overpowered the story. It was perfectly balanced (present, meaningful, and yes, very spicy 🥵 ) but it never took away from the plot or emotional development. It enhanced it instead of replacing it.

And Gina? I was beyond happy when she punched the smug right out of Rosa. That moment was chef’s kiss. Completely deserved.

This book kept me engaged from beginning to end. No dragging, no boredom, I truly enjoyed it. I was genuinely jealous of Gina for having someone like Tommaso in her corner.

And their sons? Oh trust me, I will be reading their books very, very soon.

Thank you so much to Lora Nox and Love Notes PR for the ARC.

Ok, first of all, the overall vibes were 10/10! Emotional and captivating from start to finish. Also had me a little feral… the book is husband approved 😉

The story? Chefs kiss.

The insta obsession with each other was so strong. You can immediately tell they would be go to the ends of the earth for one another. I will say, I don’t typically like the breeding kink… but Tommaso’s NEED to protect Gina by getting her pregnant and their obvious intense connection was epic!

Gina is so strong, vibrant, sassy. And incredibly brilliant! She really is the head of the Santoro’s despite her husband being the Don!

I love that Tommaso (the OG suit daddy 😏) appears strong and composed and very much in control on the outside and an absolute puddle/barbarian for Gina on the inside. A level headed leader on the streets and a filthy mouthed freak in the sheets! His entire demeanour is very on point with the Santoro family we’ve come to know.

I had 68 highlights while reading… all of which were notable spicy moments, things that brought the Santoro family story full circle and Tommaso being an absolute simp for Gina! Must run in the Santoro men’s blood or something… 💁🏼‍♀️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) | Fast, addictive mafia prequel you can finish in a day

Tomasso (The Santoro Mafia Prequel) by Lora Nox was a total whirlwind of romance, secrets, deception, and love. The kind of book that pulls you in fast and keeps the pages turning.

This story starts hard and fast. Like… one chapter in and bam, we’re already deep in the love-and-marriage phase. Personally, that pacing was a little too quick for my taste, and I would’ve loved a bit more build-up to really feel the “falling” part of the romance.

That said, once you’re in, you’re in. It’s action-packed, easy to read, and I flew through it in a single day.

My only other small critique is that there are a couple parts where events get recalled/repeated, and I’m not a huge fan of that style of “remembering what just happened” writing but that’s definitely a personal preference more than a major issue.

Overall, this was a great read, and I completely agree: you don’t need to read the original series to start here. If you want a quick mafia romance with drama, secrets, and momentum, this one is worth it.

Having read Massimo and Creed before this book, I was so excited to see how Gina and Tommaso fell in love. Knowing what the future looked like for Tommaso and Gina, when their kids were older, also brought a certain bittersweet emotion to the story. I absolutely loved the way Tommaso had instant-attraction, instant-love, instant possessiveness for Gina and made her dad heel with a glance was freaking awesome. I love powerful mafia MMCs and this one hits all the checkboxes. I didn’t know if their different personality traits would work but it so does, he kind of liked her feisty and she totally needed him to be- uh dominant. They are fire together. He is so tender and attentive. Lora Nox knows how to write an MMC who adores and worships his FMC. You can see these same traits in their sons. Honestly, I couldn’t put this book down. I was engrossed in the plot, rooting for them when the difficulties came- that Amnesia was tough and the plots against them hard to read- laughed here and there with some of the more grounded moments and really loved the little cameos from other family members (Zio!!) that show up later in the series. Excellent prequel to the series and highly recommended.

This is a great story about Tommaso and Gina. Tommaso and Gina meet at a dinner with mafia Don’s and their sons right after she graduates from college and Tommaso is completely enamored with Gina at once. Tommaso comes to gather Gina early the next morning to take her for a walk but plans to take her to his favorite places instead. Gina’s father has made plans for her as he needs her to carry them out but when he tells her what she is going to do she tells him no so he uses force upon another to bring her into compliance and beats her and she falls and hits her head. When Tommaso comes looking for her and can’t find her and there’s blood on the gate he had shown her he immediately knows where to look and when he finds her he immediately knows what he has to do. Because Gina wakes with amnesia Tommaso contrives a plan to protect her and ends up with her in his home. There is so much suspense in this story it will keep you reading. This story is beautifully planned and written. The contradictions and the changes in this story will keep you guessing clear to the end. Great story I have no problem recommending to adults.

Tommasso and Gina are the foundation. If you’ve read the Santoro books, you already know the kind of men their sons grow into. This is where that energy starts.

The amnesia angle could have gone messy, but it worked for me because the emotional core stayed steady. Gina waking up without her memories and still feeling drawn to him created this constant tension between instinct and truth. You can feel that pull even when she doesn’t understand it.

Tommasso is intense from the jump. Protective, possessive, very much “she’s mine” without apology. But what kept it from feeling flat was that there’s devotion under the dominance. He’s ruthless in his world, soft where she’s concerned. That contrast is the whole appeal.

I also liked that Gina isn’t fragile. Even without her memories, there’s steel in her. She isn’t just reacting to him. She meets him.

If you love amnesia tropes, obsessed mafia heroes, and that sweeping, all-consuming kind of loyalty that defines a dynasty, this one delivers.

Absolutely stunning! Lora Nox has this unique style that I think elevates every story. Tommaso and Gina have this visceral awareness of each other from their first encounter and I could feel the tension and attraction. I loved getting this Santoro origin story because their philosophy of family, loyalty, and love is clearly in their hearts and souls! Gina is a great example of beauty with principles: raised in mafia life she understands the rules, but she’s outspoken and graceful. Tommaso is his own man: tough, ruthless, and powerful. Their path is filled with betrayal, lies, subterfuge, and cruelty from their own families. He’ll do whatever it takes to keep her his and she feels the same way. The emotional connection between them made me sigh, cry, and laugh: he’s cocky at times, but she’s strong enough to love his strength! They go through so much before their HEA and it just makes them such a fantastic couple!! I love this world of characters and can’t wait for more!!!

Tommaso by Lora Nox
I really enjoyed this book. I liked Gina’s intelligence and spunk, and I liked Tommaso’s crazy side and his loving side. Together, they light a fire that could burn the Mafia down, considering that his father arranged for Tommmaso to marry a different mafia princess. But it was Instalove, and nobody can stop the power of Instalove, including mafia dons.
The characters are good, but the plot is really diabolical and I loved all of the twists and turns. There is no throwaway business; all of the chickens come home to roost in a finale that’s satisfying and appropriately bloody without being excessive.
I feel that all of the violence in the book had a purpose and was not inserted for mere shock value. Other triggers include uxoricide, loss of a parent, language in two languages, discussion of trafficking, and blood.
Book is safe.
Bechdel test? Passes.
Heat- explicit and Tommaso is part Hoover (as in he keeps the carpet very clean).
Tropes include but are not limited to Instalove, secret marriage, amnesia, flash-forward epilogue, rhymes-with-itch slapping.

Tommaso may be the Don in the US, but he still answers to his father Stefano, who rules with an iron fist. So when he finds out his father has arranged a marriage underhandedly, he is unhappy, especially when he finds out who his new bride will be, but he accepts it. That's until he runs into Gina. He loves her feistiness, her sass, her determination, but also her intellect. She is not just some vacuous mafia princess. She is his sun, his lightness, his goddess; she is his! HE just has to work out how.

Tommaso knows that there is something his father is not telling him. Why is this marriage being rushed? How can he get out of it without putting Gina in danger? The pieces on the chessboard are moving, but what is the play?

I thoroughly enjoyed the story; it is action-packed from the get-go, it's steamy, and the love that Tommaso and Gina have for each other shines through. Tommaso will leave no stone unturned to worship at his goddess's feet.

Gina loved her parents even though her father was part of the Mafia. Being sent off to a private school was not her choice, but she's a daughter who wants to please her parents. Now she intends surprising them by returning earlier without waiting for a private jet picking her up. What she doesn't expect is the fury in her father's face, the disappointment is unmistakable. But the handsome man comes to her rescue. Except when he looks at her she knows exactly who he is. Tommaso Santorro. Tommaso knows what people say about him. Yes most of it is true. But he has a code and he never crosses that code. But seeing her he knows he's done for. She's all he needs. She's about to become his Queen. It doesn't matter what it costs him but he'll have her. But then he finds her no memories and injured. Now he makes a new plan. This is the prequel to a series already out, which I haven't read but will certainly be reading now. I still enjoyed the twists and turns. Working out who could be trusted. The love between Gina and Tommaso is just perfect I really can't wait to read more from this author

Tommaso is the prequel to the Santoro Mafia series. It takes us back to where it all began, with Tommoso and Gina, the parents of Creed, Vito and Massimo.
This story is totally consuming from the very beginning and doesn't let up until the very end. Joining in the journey with this author and the characters that brought 3 great stories to life is completely intriguing. Their path is dramatic, dangerous and hard fought and Tommaso is relentless in getting what he wants. The apple certainly doesn't fall far from the tree with this man and his sons. It seems possessive, obsessive tendencies are a family trait. Gina is fierce in her own right and is just as tenacious as is necessary. These characters balance each other beautifully and their journey is absolutely a must read!

My sun.
My light.
My queen.
My entire reason for being.
And I will burn the world to the ground to keep her."

I really enjoyed this book. The writing style is easy-flowing and engaging from the very start, making this a super quick and effortless read.

Gina and Tommaso are absolutely adorable together — sweet, cute, and impossible not to root for. This is very much an insta-love, first-look connection, and Tommaso is immediately smitten. Yes, it has some cheesy moments, but honestly, I was here for it. His OTT protectiveness just added to the charm, and there are plenty of warm, fuzzy, feel-good scenes.

I’m not usually a fan of the amnesia trope, as it can lead to repetition when memories resurface, and that was the case at times here. Still, the emotional core kept me invested.

One of the most refreshing aspects was the lack of a third-act breakup — no constant push-and-pull, just a relationship that actually gets to grow.

Overall, this was a very enjoyable read rounding off the Santoro Series nicely.

Thank you for the ARC

✨ Tommaso by Lora Nox ✨

📚 What it’s about: His obsession, my amnesia. The perfect combination for him to make me his. From the second Gina lays eyes on Tommaso, her world shifts. Even though she's a nobody in the mafia world, and he was born to rule, their connection is so strong that her heart body and soul recognise him as their other half. Until she wakes up in the hospital with no memories, and Tommaso claiming her as his wife. Even without memories of him she knows she loves him. Until the truth is revealed and her world threatens to fall.

💭 My thoughts: Ahhh this book was so beautiful. I loved Gina in all of her three sons books, she is so strong and badass. Seeing her younger self was perfection. Such sass. She says it how it is, and wasn't afraid of who or what Tommaso was. My heart broke for her with what she went through with her dad. Tommaso, as always with Lora's men, was pure gold. Top tier. Yes he lied but always with the best intentions. And there was nothing he wouldn't do to make her his, and protect her at all costs. I loved his relationship with his dad, and I'm so glad some of the twists and turns had the ending they did but boy was screaming at my kindle for a while there!! Thank you Lora for the arc opportunity, it's been a hot minute since I've read one of your books and it's made me even more eager for the next Havocs book!

This is the prequel you didn’t know you needed!

I’m usually skeptical when an author releases a prequel after a series (or even after the first book) is already out—it often feels like an afterthought. But that was absolutely not the case here. Tommaso delivers a fresh, captivating take on mafia romance, steering clear of the usual tropes and plots I’ve seen before.

Tommaso and Gina share that rare, all-consuming love—the kind that keeps you from sleeping or eating. Their intense connection shines through again and again, especially when Gina suffers from amnesia.

Add in ambitious wannabe mafia bosses, layers of deceit, and plenty of murder, and you’ve got an explosive storyline that had me hooked from start to finish. I genuinely wish we could get even more of their story.

If you love mafia romances with deep obsession, high stakes, and emotional intensity, this prequel is a must-read. 5 stars!

@Goodreads there needs to be a special rating system for SPECIAL books. 5 stars are never enough for Lora Nox books!

Ever since I read the last page of Tommaso I've been debating. Would it be better to read to read this Santoro prequel BEFORE the rest of the other three books or AFTER.

BEFORE: You get to fall in love with Gina and Tommaso blissfully unaware. Then comes the heartbreak.

AFTER: You fall in love with Massimo, Vito and Creeds parents, watching things unfold, getting your heart broken. Then you go back to where it all began and fall even more in love, which makes the heartbreak worse.

I read Tommaso after and I think I prefer it like that. But the heartbreak will stay. So just be warned either way.
Because this book is just unbelievably GOOD. (no surprise there, having read Loras other books)

If you're into the whole dark Mafia men who'll do everything for their chosen ones trope, these books are for you.

Once again, Lora has managed, in her typical style, to create a wonderfully emotional story. Tommaso is a prequel to the fantastic Santoro Mafia series, so it is again a typical family pattern of a relentless and possessive main male character, who only has a weakness for his woman. I have read everything Lora has written and, as before, the writing is very enjoyable, you quickly fall in love with the characters, and the plot is just right. I highly recommend reading it.

Omg…. Lora you have done it again! Tommaso was exactly what I needed.

If you are looking for a mafia romance with a possessive/ protective MMC, a man that will do LITERALLY do anything to make her his queen and a kind of love that can survive anything, do yourself a favorite and read Tommaso by Lora Nox.

Tommaso is a prequel story to the Santoro Mafia Series. It is so easy to see how Creed, Vito and Masimmo became such amazing men when they Tommaso to look up to.

I am absolutely obsessed with this book. I love the connection between Tommaso and Gina. They were both instantly drawn to one another, that even amnesia couldn’t keep them apart.

I am so glad Lora wrote this prequel and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thank you for the advanced copy Lora!
