I've been a pastor for 45 years, so what I say next does arise out of some experience. Now I say: Every pastor should read and heed this book. Yes, of course (as the title states) every rural and small town pastor should read this book. But I am saying every pastor (and pastor's wife and board member and church member) should read this (preferably along with their pastor). More joy and more focused ministry awaits on the other side.
