Con artist, snake, mind manipulator, liar, rapist, snitch, murderer, are just a few words that describe the infamous reputation of Rollin 30's Crip; O.G. Blue-Jay. On his reign to the top, it's not a question of who he crossed... The question is who he hasn't crossed? Because of his double life, it shouldn't be of any surprise that he would have two sons; Bloodbath (Mad Dog Blood) & Tre-Loc (8-Trey Gangsta Crip), both on different sides of the fence. Due to their father's mind manipulating ways, the two wreak havoc on the streets in an attempt to kill one another. In the midst of their chaos, a lot of people get caught in the crossfire. Some innocent... Some with hidden agendas of their own! A question you'll constantly ask yourself as you read this novel is will the two brothers kill each other and everyone in their path? Or make amends in the end and get to the root of their problem? In this grimey way of life of deceit, betrayal, and heartache, Every Bullet Gotta A Name... And if you get caught slipping on the wrong side of town, you better shoot first or be prepared to die!
I have read all three back to back so this a group review. I like the book, very fast paced. You don't really think of how much you are reading because i saw the page numbers and i went right through it. Another thing i liked was the fact that it showed the brothers mentality as well as the people surrounding them and why they turned out the way that they did. what i didn't like is mostly based on part three. One thing i did not like was the fact that the author he did not complete the sex scenes as well as not described the characters. You have make us think of what they look like, not leave it to the readers imagination. Another thing i did not like was the fact t that the crips was so damn dumb and gullible. I mean seriously. Last but not least, i did not like the ending. Well not the ending, ending, but what happened in the church. I was expecting more than that. .
I really hate to give this book one star because I loved How Can You Judge Me, but this book was a completely different genre. This was a hood book and it was horrible. The long gangster names were super annoying and with 2 of them being pretty close to each other, I often got them confused. It was just too much going on. I won't be reading the sequel to this unless I find out it's free and even then, I'll probably download it but not read it for awhile. I haven't given up on him as an author yet. He's really good at the kind of writing he did in the prior book I mentioned. If he sticks with those kinds of stories, I can see myself reading all of those kinds of books.
This book leave you Speechless it is just that GOOD
The Author did a excellent job with this book it kept you on the edge of your seat with what will happen next. You could really relate with the Characters not saying that you like them but he wrote the story like you was right there with them. Lil Stevie and Shed was heartless I couldn't believe some of the foul things that they did .O.G. Blue-Jay is one weak behind Crip. The Author have you feening for more of this
This was a pretty good book. There were some grammatical errors but not to much to take away from how the story flowed. This story was full of murder and drama. O. G Blue Jay and O.G. Dawn-Loc were both crazy and their children turned out to be no better than them. I am not a fan of how the book ended. I was expecting something different because of how the book began. I guess the question I had will be answered in the next book. I will most likely read the next book in the series.
I know somewhere there are people who really believe and live their life like this but it is just plain senseless to me. Unnecessary violence is never entertaining or a good read to me so I skipped through a lot. This is not anything I would want my kids to read
First time reading your book and I say it was on point and I can't wait to read book 2 in a few minutes. Blue Jay Crip is a snake for sure I just understand Dawn Loc how could she let her guard down with him and she know what he did to Linda. Just keep up the good work and you have another supporter.
Book was good..there were a lot of different characters names in gangs..had to really stay focused..Enjoyed reading but where is part 2, part 1 left us hanging and wanting more.
It was a good book although I was turned off by the gang stuff....I might purchase part 2 but I am tired of authors breaking their books into so many parts....get one free then have to purchase more...just offer the book for one price. I would rather pay for a full length book.
