My Future to Build Rose Mitchell is on a plane to Paris, running from heartbreak and a cheating ex-boyfriend. She has no plan, no itinerary—just a desperate need to escape her life for a weekend and figure out who she is without him. Jackson Wells is on the same plane, panicking about his career-defining moment. His tech company is announcing promotions in Paris, and he's perfect for Director of Operations—except for one problem. Every person above manager at his company is either married or engaged, and Jackson is decidedly single. When Rose learns of his dilemma, she makes an impulsive she'll be his fake fiancée for the weekend. No strings, no expectations. Just two strangers helping each other out in the City of Light. But as they shop for an engagement ring, share meals at Parisian cafés, and spend an unforgettable day at Parc de L'Amour Magique, the lines between fake and real begin to blur. Henri, the wise flower vendor at the park, seems to see right through their charade. And that kiss by the carousel? That was definitely real. When a misunderstanding threatens to tear them apart before they even begin, Rose must return to her safe, heartbroken life, or take a chance on a love that started as pretend but became the realest thing she's ever known. A sweet, closed-door fake relationship romance about healing after betrayal, finding yourself in unexpected places, and discovering that sometimes the best love stories start with a lie. Fall in Paris Book 2
I LOVE a good fake dating story! This one has the added twist of coming from strangers, and yet it still makes sense. Great connection between Rose and Jackson’s. Nice Easter egg with previous characters having a cameo. Such a fantastic comfort read!
