I really wanted to enjoy this book, but unfortunately it wasn’t for me.
The biggest issue was that it felt like a mix of many popular fantasy books rather than a story with its own unique identity. I kept recognizing familiar tropes, characters, and plot elements that reminded me of other well-known fantasy series, which made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the world.
Another thing that stood out was the repetition. Some sentences and ideas appeared multiple times throughout the book, making parts of the story feel repetitive instead of adding emphasis.
The premise had potential, and I can see that the author put a lot of effort into building the world. However, I was hoping for more originality and a stronger, more distinctive voice. I also struggled to connect with the characters because many of them felt too familiar.
Overall, while this book may appeal to readers who enjoy classic fantasy tropes and don’t mind familiar story elements, it didn’t leave a lasting impression on me.

Hunters Mark by Zoey Frost is a highly descriptive detailed world because this wonderful author makes sure to deliver a full visual of these characters and this world. This book pulls you into this world and carries you through it from the first page to the end. Darian and Azara start out with extreme challenges to try to survive only to find out it's more complicated and dangerous than they could have imagined. A world between them where sheer love and immense
determination with a heavy dose of iron will will create the force to stay bound together for survival and the right to choose their own happiness and destiny.Together they will be stronger to succeed, their LOVE will be the anchor, discovering Azara is his missing piece almost destroys them both. If you love jumping into another world I highly recommend this world !!
