Three years ago, Fhear was a scientist. A fiancée. A fool.

The man she loved butchered her family, stole her research, and left her for dead in the ruins of everything she’d built. His betrayal bought him an alliance. And the sphere.

But she survived. And she’s done hiding.

The fae world that discarded her is rotting from within. Whispers of revolution spread through the underbelly, and she needs something the elite have fought to the truth. Her truth.

With nothing left to lose and a debt written in blood, Fhear is rising from the grave they made for her. Revenge isn’t enough. She wants revolution.

Review of advance copy received from Author

I gabbled this up in 2 days.

This was a fantastic dystopian story! I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to read an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) for an honest review. The author masterfully weaves a world of family mystery steeped in betrayal and a gripping 'cat-and-mouse' type of tension. Without giving too much away, I loved the slow-burn plot and the incredible depth of the characters. Even when the Spanglish flowed across the page. It didn't slow me down! I didn’t know what the heck was being said and I didn’t care! 🤣🤣🤣 The story was so consuming that I enjoyed every word! I’m already feening for more!!

⚠️⚠️ The next paragraph maybe considered spoilers.

I really need to know if Onyx and Silver will find love and if the Factions will finally yield to La Primara.
I do have a few lingering questions: 1) Was the voice she heard just before the blast from the people who saved her, or was she being warned by a supernatural voice? Also, I’m curious about the incriminating evidence that presented. 2) Was there a reason she chose not to expose the betrayer? Or did I missed something? I know these questions probably would be a great reflection with a book club member!
