I loved this book the first time around, but Britt revamped it and let me tell you, it’s even better now. I am obsessed with this story. It’s real, it has raw emotions, it’s electric, and spicy!

Macie and Jax have known each other since they were young. She was his best friends little sister and he has been in love with her for years. She couldn’t wait to get away from her home and start something new. So when he offers to take her with him when he got signed, she doesn’t think twice.

From the very beginning their chemistry was off the charts and electric. Jax was able to break down Macies wall slowly and show her what love truly is and how to love again since she lost her father. Macie is so strong and amazing. She has a talent and she isn’t going to let anyone keep her from her dreams. Jax..he’s delicious! He is protective, obsessive, possessive, and that man worships the woman he loves.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this book. It’s beautifully written and grasps you from the very beginning. I couldn’t get enough of it.

Wow—simply WOW. Britt has done it again.
She’s given us a new version of Jax, and while we’ve always loved him, this time around it’s impossible not to adore him even more.
The story itself remains the same, but it’s enhanced with thoughtful details that readers of the original version will immediately recognize and appreciate. The tension is stronger, the pacing tighter, and the characters feel noticeably more mature, which adds a deeper emotional layer to the story.
This updated version perfectly showcases the growth Britt has brought to her writing in her latest books. Seeing that evolution on the page is incredibly satisfying, and it only makes me more excited for what’s coming next.
I can’t wait to read the next installments.

I was hooked from the very first page till the end.

Puck it is Book 1 in The Nighthawk series and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I felt every emotion while reading this book from swooning to shedding tears and laughing with the banter in the book between the characters

Jax is a book boyfriend that every girl needs, I fell in love with instantly and hard

I loved the plot and the characters as well as the growth the do throughout the book
The heat and chemistry between macie and jax was hot 🥵🥵

Ahhhhhh I loved loved the re-write of Puck it. All of the things I adored about Macie and Jax are still there. Macie is an absolute spit fire and I love her for it. She’s independent, takes zero ish and really I have a girl crush okay?

Jax is what you picture when you think hockey player. Slightly arrogant, can handle just about anything and welp he’s a touch dark with his tastes. Which we love, you love it. I know.

My main man Sully is there, gosh I loved him from the original book. I’m not sure why but something about his character just makes me so happy! I enjoyed how the book ends, it leaves more room for other possibilities aka my Sully’s story….right? 🙏🙏

Omg! I absolutely loved this revamped book! I could not put it down!

I absolutely love the new and improved Jax!

The details, the edging, the perfection. This version of Jax is just EVERYTHING! I loved the older version of Jax but this version has my heart.

How can it end like that?! I need the next one... well I hope there's a next one 😂😂

I kept me wanting to read, I really could NOT put this down.. I didn't want it to end 😭😭.

I need more!

Macie is firecraker. Shes so talented when it comes to her passion!
She is his Angel and his good luck charm. I love the pull they have to one another. They cant be without each other. The spice is so hot 😏🫠

I did not know I could fall in love with this story and Jax more than I already had. He’s absolute perfection and still one of my top book boyfriends. This is the updated version and it adds so much more detail. There is so much tension. I still love Macie. She’s so strong and doesn’t take crap from anyone! I love that it felt like I was feeling all of the emotion and tension. The banter is top tier and had me laughing so much. The chemistry between Jax and Macie is so hot. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

This book is still the same story with a revamp of the writing the style and if you’ve read the book before it will make you fall in love with the characters all over again Jax the mmc and Macie the fmc definitely have a more mature feeling about them with this read and the spice is definitely always spicing but rereading it definitely has a different feel for it when reading it. Always love a good hockey romance and love that Britt has given us another wonderful read even if it was a revamp of her debut novel.
