"Don't read the journal. Don't ask questions. And whatever you do, don't trust him."

Now, 40 years later, someone wants that journal destroyed.
As Nadine becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth, she meets Luca, a handsome historian. The attraction is immediate, and he wants to help her solve Isabella's mystery. For the first time in years Nadine feels alive again. But when she finds a photograph hidden in the journal, everything changes.Someone is following her. Threatening her. And she quickly realizes the powerful families who rule Lake Como will do almost anything to protect their secrets.
The journal holds the answer to what really happened at the lighthouse... But can she expose the truth before history repeats itself?

Overall, I enjoyed this trilogy. However, there are a few things that readers should be aware of: ~ The editing isn't great. I had to reread sentences because they didn't make sense. ~ The 3 books are really just one big book. The story is left hanging at the end of books 1 and 2, so be prepared to have all 3 when you start reading the first one. Thankfully they are priced accordingly, and also all 3 available in Kindle Unlimited. ~ There were a couple of things left hanging and never resolved or concluded.
I did enjoy the story even though it was fairly predictable. I did some skimming through repetitions of the character's thoughts and feelings. I appreciated that it was a clean love story.
I absolutely love this 3 book series. I have all of June's books and this series is one of the best. I was smiling at the end of book 3 for 2 reasons I !loved how the storyline was written, secondly instead of reading until 1am I will be able to get more sleep. Thoroughly recommend
I enjoyed reading this series, the content was very good. I read these in record time for me. However, book three seriously needed a proofreader. So many mistakes and misspelled totally distracted from the content of book three. Normally I totally enjoy books by June Wood.
