Hunting River
Nineteen-year-old River was raised in the Kingdom of Seallan, trained by one of the princes, and held the position as the Princess's trusted personal guard. However, this young soldier kept a deadly he was a Triton, a creature of the sea said to have gone extinct.
While hiding his true identity and keeping his growing feelings for the princess at bay, River begins to fear his Triton instincts may be taking over. He struggles as new threats arise and Princess Nyx groes curious after learning of a last Triton. Unbeknownst to River, a plotting against him is already in place. One that would end with the king's muder and his running for his life in hopes of clearing his name.

This book wrecked me in the BEST way possible 😭
Just read it for yourself because it’s sooo good!
I absolutely loved both the main characters and loved reading from both their POVs.
It was very well written!
I loved the slow burn and how it was clean.
The action was fire tbh🔥
Okay and River??? Uggg he’s soo perfect 😩
And Nyx I love herrr

review with young christian girls in mind (12+):
I typically choose to stay away from fantasy, but decided to give these a try.
I loved this one and am immediately starting the 2nd.
clean, no language, no spice, no Christian elements yet, other than a couple mentions to prayer, but maybe im overlooking them.
I love the story so far, cant wait to see what happens next!

While the writing style seemed a little premature at first, this book had me reading non-stop until it was finished 🤩. I completely devoured this book and immediately ordered the second part as soon as I finished it. My only complaint is that the second book couldn’t get to my door fast enough!

Really enjoyable story! Loved River and Nyx 💕 this author does male and female perspectives really well I feel. There were a few typos and grammatical things, but not enough to make me want to stop reading! Immediately started Part 2!
