There is something about a forbidden romance that just takes me over the top. I love the push and pull, the buildup, the teasing, and everything that follows. Jake is released from prison after two years, and it feels like his entire world is shifting beneath his feet. He already has a plan in place start a business, save enough money, and get out of his father’s house as fast as possible. His dad is disappointed in him, convinced Jake is a stain on the family name. With the family’s wealth and public image, Jake’s incarceration was something his father tried to bury, even though Jake went to prison protecting his mom and things got out of hand.
Jake is focused. Determined. Ready to run.
Then he sees her.
Piper was just an awkward sixteen-year-old the last time he noticed her someone who barely registered on his radar. But now she’s eighteen, and when Jake walks into his bathroom and finds a confident, sensual woman standing there, his heart skips a beat. This can’t be the same girl… but it is. And suddenly, everything changes.
Even though Jake knows he needs to leave, he can’t. Piper has a hold on his mind, and whether she means to or not, she tests every bit of his resolve. What follows is a delicious game of cat and mouse charged looks, simmering tension, and a slow-burn connection that pulls them closer no matter how hard Jake tries to fight it.
I was obsessed from the first page to the very last. The chemistry, the restraint, the forbidden pull it all worked perfectly.

Me encanto la relación de Piper y Jack ,
Tuvieron su pequeño y doloroso momento , pero solo habia que tener perspectiva de la situación. Lo que no entendí es por que el papá de Jack es antagonista, parece que no quiere a su hijo, solo se preocupa por la imagen y siendo abogado no pudo evitar que su hijo fuera a prisión por defender a su mamá ?! y lo que es peor culparlo de la situación y más , por un momento pensé que Paul el papá de Jack quería a Piper. Jack y Piper representan a las parejas jóvenes que maduran juntos , crecen y se realizan ❤️ claro disfrutando de una extraordinaria y saludable vida sexual !

This is book two in the author’s Family Way series and features a super steamy romance between a man newly released from prison and his eighteen year old stepsister.

I enjoy a lot of taboo romances and stepbrother/stepsister are one of my favorites. Throw in an honorable MMC who fights his desire for the little tease and it gets even better! If a little bit of taboo is what you’re looking for, give this one a try, you might love it as much as I did. 4.25 stars.

The characters carried the storyline and they were very complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was pretty straightforward. World building was solud. Highly recommend.

I really admire the MMC for his brave resistance. He deserves a little medal for that! After all, he's only human, so I understand if he needed some slack. Kudos to him for staying strong when others might have given up.

As for the FMC, I find her actions quite surprising—she’s a tease! There’s definitely a spirited vixen hiding behind that innocent look.

I felt bad for Jake. The second he got home his dad was awful too him. It was a good thing his employer was caring and helpful person. I really didn't care for Piper's character very much. She was too aggressive and manipulative to get Jake to cave.

So, I definitely enjoyed Stepbrother's Desire by Jenna Rose. Once I starting reading I was hooked, I think what really got me hooked was seeing Piper going after who she wanted and Jake trying to resist despite his mutual attraction. Once Piper saw Jake she did everything she could to get his attention. And once she did there was no stopping Jake from claiming his sexy stepsister.

Getting out of jail & coming home was the easy part….staying away from his tempting step-sister now that was a challenge!
This book was fast paced, low plot & heavy with tension. Just the way I love a good short story. Now I only gave it 2 stars because, skipping 4 years left a lot to the imagination!

Slightly better than the first book in this series. Still with the same type of FMC, but the MMC here had more balls than the MMC in the first book. Jake was only 25 (I think) but he was mature enough and took the right decisions.
